Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Recently it has come to the Mod-Team's attention that c-box behavior is getting out of hand. This is a friendly reminder about what the c-box is for. The c-box is meant to be a safe place, where members can get to know one another, communicate about role playing and relax when they aren't posting. The c-box is NOT a place for discussions that attack or offend those involved. When topics get personal, heated, or cause discomfort to others in the c-box, the topic needs to change or be taken elsewhere. If you have a problem with another members actions or posts, it needs to be addressed with the Mod Team NOT taken into your own hands.

MRO is a Role Playing Game. A GAME where we can have fun, interact with each other, and enjoy the universe we all create together. It is not a place for hateful comments, assumptions, and accusations. Engaging in such conversation creates a poisonous atmosphere, and our community deserves better than that.
