The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Seven weeks later
Pain Agony Sadness, Depression
All of these things and more were what the mutants of the camps had experienced in that amount of time. Day in and Day out it was the same, roll call, breakfast, jobs, lunch, jobs, small break, dinner, barracks and finally bed. By the time they went to the bed it was usually past 10 and they got up at two to go to work. This made the mutants tired and easier to handle, the drugs that were being put in their food helped as well.
The drugs were almost like a discouraging mechanism because if the mutants tried to use their powers while the collars were on or if they somehow came off, they would go through brief excruciating moments of head pain, nearly rendering them paralyzed. These drugs were laced in each part of the meal except for the bread and water. The meals had gotten better since the mutants had first gotten there, and sometimes they would even be meat in the soup they were given. Though, they never knew what or whom it was from.
The mutants of the X men had tried their best to stay positive in their horrible situation but it was indeed very hard. Between fights with the other members of the team as well as other inmates there was a little bit of a dog eat dog feel to the camps. However, it would seem that the Sanctuary members and the X men had formed an alliance while inside of the camp, becoming almost allies in this situation. Of course there were some that did not want to associate with the opposite faction but the rest of the mutants had managed to make amends and one time enemies started to become close friends.
A certain unity had untied all of the prisoners though, especially ones who fight for what they believed was right. As of late their had been more deaths by beatings by the guards than poor conditions in the camps and despite what the warden of the camp did he could not stop the random abuse and violence against mutants, especially against the female mutants. There had been several incidents on the women’s side of the camp in which different women, often after seeing someone killed or die in their sleep, acted out against guards in every violent way possible. These attack ranged from minor cuttings and bruises to near amputations of a horribly mutilated limb.
The camp was now filled with overzealous guards oftentimes from the church of humanity who enjoyed their tortures of each individual mutant. Many times when a mutant did not come back from their work detail it was safe to assume that they would end up as a bloodied mass upon the barracks doorstep that not even the she thing guard could clean up.
All the inmates could ask at that moment in time was, when they where going to get out of this hell. It was no doubt the only thing on their minds as the lay in their wooden barracks with floodlight pouring into the windows as well the vacant sounds of screams from the unfortunate out in the distance. This was the only time the mutants were truly free of the guards was when they were in the barracks for lights out, it was a time to plan a time to speak with one another and a time to dream about a better tomorrow.
OOC:I've just realised something. Are they any Order boys in the camps? Actually, are there any Order boys at all apart from Abyss? My bad if there is, I must have just forgotten you.
IC: Ted stooped to get his tall frame through the barracks door. He was not built to survive on mush, as he had a carnivorous metabolism, so the poor food had affected him worse than anything. Except the beatings, of course. But he got lucky there. Once, a guard was foolish enough to beat him until he transformed. He managed to knock the guard through the barracks wall before the shocks knocked him out. He spent the next few days mending the wall instead of going down to the quarry, but now the guards were more careful not to hit him hard enough to make him transform. Unfortunately, a few of them had worked out (through experimentation) how much they could injure Ted before he transformed, and exercised their knowledge whenever they could.
Straightening up in the barracks, his haggard face turned to look at the captives already there, his haunted eyes looking at the different mutants. He was much thinner, looking almost skeletal, but a glint still showed in his eyes, betraying his defiance. He wasn't down yet. He had been using his work at the quarry to talk to Emerald, and learn how the girls were doing. He could then pass that information on at Lights Out. There were other boys in the quarry, but they didn't have the strength to work and hold a conversation. Because of this connection in the quarry, and whatever information the boys could glean from the infirmary, all of the boys knew exactly what was going on in the girl's camp, and hopefully it was vice versa as well.

OCC: Sorry i been away had some schools to go to and it was pretty much a last min thing. But im back now.
It was dark and quite around the barracks but you could hear a faint noise getting closer and closer to the door. In the distance you could hear the sound of a large object being dragged on the ground the rocks in dirt ruffling underneath. The loud moans and gowns where getting louder and closer till the door to the males barracks went flying open. It had been days or even weeks since Jason had last seen the inside of this raged place. With one large shove his body crashed to the ground rolling over lose boards and crashing in to objects trying to make his way to his rack. It was hard trying to get across the room. Only one leg seem to wanna push and one arm could pull. Every time he tried to use one of the other limbs true pain shot through is body but only drove him to crawl faster towards his rack. With a little laugh and smirk the two guards turned and walked away talking and laughing about all the stuff they got to do with him and that nobody would ever care. Jason finally made his way to his bed and reached for a lose board and pulled it up with that one free hand. Reaching under he felt what he was striving to get to. Jason swallowed quickly as he could feel the pain killers start to kick in so fast. He turned around looking at everybody in the room through his one good eye since his other eye seemed to be swelled close. Jason looked around one more time then tilted his head back and passed out.

The pain killers finally kicked in as Jasons' popped open. the swelling around his eye was finally going down and all the pain was gone. Well as long as the pain killers kept doing there job. Jason turned his head pushing his self up in the bed sitting fully up looking over at shrapnel. "Listen I don't know how much more of this i can take. Its one thing being in this camp. But its another thing just waiting round here to be killed." Jason said as he swung his legs over the bed. Jason stood up feeling kind of dizzy but catching his balance. "Oh Boy oh boy, one of these days when this world is mine and the table are turned ima put every human in a camp of my own and whoop the shit out of them." he said in a soft bout stern tone. "I don't no about you but i think its about time to leave."

Jason took the pills he was given and choked them down fast. The feel of calmness that ran through is body was a feeling that he has grown so comfortable to. It wasn't much of a pain killer anymore for Jason. It was now something that just took him to a different world of his own now between the pills and the his mutant ability protecting his insides Jason was feeling like a new man. Jason walked up to a window and looked out still a little sore he turned to Shrapnel. "So how we gonna do this?" After being gone for a few weeks the camp was all new to him it felt. He still new where everything was but he couldn't shake the feeling of sorta starting all over again in this hell whole. After a few minutes of standing around the adrenaline started to kick in... Jason' blood was pumping and he was ready to try this out. It was now or never no turning back and Jason was ready to do what he had to do to get the hell from this place and not look back.

The thought of running and never turning back towards this place was so tempting. But even with all the dark tainted rock that covered Jasons' heart he still couldn't leave mutants in this place. He may have not seen eye to eye with some but even they don't deserve this well at least not at the hands of a human. If they should suffer and die let it at least be by someone that was above them and not below them such as a human. Jason walked around the room. Quickly looking out the window looking for someone or something that might make this thing go wrong. All Jason could do was think about running. Running fast and not stopping. What was about to happen was gonna make things either really worse for Jason around here. Or make things even more worse for everyone still here so this wasn't something he wanted to go wrong. Jason smirked and looked up at Shrapnel and extended his hand. "You know your making me feel like one of the them rotten X-men. What do you say we keep this hero stuff between the two of us."
"'Rotten X-Men?' My my, we've gotten a bad rep, haven't we?" Though he'd never show up on any surveilance, another figure appeared next to Gore. He looked as Cassiel always looked. hair cropped short, sunglasses on, calm expression on his face. A slight blue glow surrounded him... and he was most definitely wearing an X-Uniform. "Myself, I've always thought that it would be better if we were all in this together. But to each his own, I suppose."
"Oh, I plan to. If they've been causing trouble, then there must have been some things going seriously wrong since I've been out of circulation. X-Men aren't troublemakers. That, unfortunately, is going to have to wait until this mess is over." He looked at Shrapnel and Gore. "I'm not here, as you've probably figured out. I can't affect things as well as if I were... but I can do enough to help you escape... if you're really going to go through with it."

With everything going on the sudden extra company startled Jason making him realize just how jumpy he was about this but it had to be done. But the fact that he wasn't getting beat up by a guard was enough to think he was legitly a mutant. Besides with everything that was going on Jason wouldn't have even thought something was wrong if even one of the females just wondered in to the MALE barracks. "Yeah after this is all over tonight and Im being chased by you some day i want you to remember your words buddy." Jason turned looking back out the window. "Well Shrapnel this aint the smartest idea but ever since day one we did like causing a little trouble so im ready when ever you are." he said reaching in his pocket. Pulling out his last two pills Jason quickly chocked them down and walked to the doors. His eyes were wide open and he could fill the effects of the pills running through his blood making his body feel numb and loss and ready to be self abused.
"Gore... the inhibitors cannot harm you. Use your abilities freely." Any use of his abilities, generating the normal shocks, would show the electricity being telekinetically blocked from his body.

As Shrapnel went out the door. Jason waited a few seconds. Jason reached down and pulled with all his might and broke part of the bed leaving a nice sharp jagged edge. Right before Jason cut in to his skin he heard the new guy say something about not having to worry about this bracelet. He aint know what to think seeing how this guy just showed up not to long ago. "I sure hope so." Jason said looking at the guy as he pressed the sharp object in to his arm. After giving him self several long and deep cuts Jason walked up to the door and turned towards the new induvual. "Well i guess where gonna see if you right now if this works." With that Jason snuck his head out the door seeing a morjorty of the guards walking towards the fence. Jason started his way out. This was finally going to be the day that he was rid of this place. Just then a light source began to light up a small area of the camp. And with in seconds a loud explosion could be heard across the camp and Jason new this was the time. Jason popped up out of hiding and started to run. He could feel the blood begin to drip down his arms forming his club like weapons. Running faster and faster. He saw a gate fence and new that was the way. Running he took a quick glimpse at the bracelet. 'Wow' He thought to him self. 'I don't know what the hell that guy did but it worked.' Jason was about 50 yards from the fence opening all that kept him from the out side was a metal wire fence a chain and a lock! As Jason got closer he heard someone yelling behind him. It was one of the guards and a few of his friends that beat him over the past few weeks. It took everything in him not to turn around and fight. He knew he could take them but it wouldn't be worth it. Everything they did tonight all would have been pointless if he stopped. Jason just kept his head down and kept running. The fence was now so close.
And as the guards came nearer to Gore, Cassiel appeared again. "Hello, boys," he growled, lashing out with telekinetic attacks, toppling the guards. Were he there, he could have sent them through walls, but distance took its toll, particularly on his telekinesis. A blue glow flashed through their eyes as they fell, telepathically stunned, their short-term memories wiped clean.
"If you can get that bracelet off, I suggest you do it. I don't know how long I can block it if I have to fight."

The freedom was so close Jason could taste that cheeseburger he been dieing for on the other side. With ever step he took the smile on his face was getting bigger and bigger. Jason looked over his shoulder seeing the guards behind him flying in another direction then he was going made he feel even better about this. This might really work. His head turned quickly preparing for the crash in to the fence. As he turned his head to and raised his arms to embrace the fence he was frozen in place by the Stalkers on the other side ready to meet him at the gate. Jason dropped to the ground sliding feet first trying stop all progress towards the robots. "Stalkers!" He screamed with every bit in his body trying to warn the other two. Jason got up quickly looking for another way out. Some way he could get past the robots cause if he stayed here any longer after this night he would die.

Everything was going so quick it felt like only a few seconds ago they was in here talking this out in the barracks. And now Jason came to the idea that this wasn't going to work. He was so close to being out but now he was stuck and not ready to deal with what the outcome was going to be. Then as fast as this all got started Jason was lifted off the ground. What the hell he thought then he heard A voice. "Where to know?" Shrapnel asked. Somehow Jason was being flown out of here. But where to... Where do we go to get find help. Jason knew about the group that was planning to break everybody out but where were they. "Just drop me off in a city close by, Ill figure something out and get back to you guys. Are you coming with?" He asked looking back at the camp as it began to get smaller and smaller till it was no longer in hi sight.
As Shrapnel flew, every bit of dust, dead grass, or dead leaves kicked up into the air in their immediate area, obscuring any view of them. Some of the debris caught fire in the heat trail, and the smoke from it spread unnaturally far, helping even further to obscure view.
"Get... far... away. Can't... keep this up... much longer. About to... discorporate. I'll be... in touch."
"If you go... back... Tell any X-Men... anyone from the... institute... Cassiel's watching."
