They are smaller than when she’s in dragon form, and Aria can hide these smaller red wings under a long coat if she folds her wings.
Scars/ Tattoos/ Piercings: Pierced ears
Other features: As a dragon, Aria looks like a European dragon – four legs with the two wings on her back. In dragon form, she looks like:
Everyday clothing style: Long coat to cover up her wings, but underneath that, usually jeans and a blouse or tank that she can wear along with the wings. She sometimes cuts her shirts in the back so she can accompany her wings still.
Uniform: N/A
Sleepwear: Cami and sweats
Miscellaneous clothing: Character Personality: Aria likes her power and would like nothing better than to see mutants rule the world. She has a hard time trusting people who are not mutants because the regular humans in her life all seem to let her down so far. She deals with regular people of course, but always wonders what their secret agenda is and if they suspect that she has wings on her back or that she can turn into a dragon.
Hobbies/ Interests: She likes dogs, fire, dragon myths and stories, power, art, and flying.
Job or part time job and description: Aria owns her own private dog walking business in New York. She also lives off the money her parents gave her to essentially get out of their lives.
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Aria has a fear of being captured and tortured for not being a human. She also has a fear of rejection, which stems from her parents casting her out after being found out as a mutant – and a very strange one at that. She also has a fear of water – drinking it is okay, but being doused in is or drowning terrifies her. Dragon + water = not a fun night.
Special talents: Aria can speak French, and paints well.
Morality Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Bad. Aria hates humans because the ones who have found out about her mutation have turned her away causing Aria to distrust any and all of them. She wants to see a world where mutants are the dominate ones.
Mutations Mutation description: Aria has the ability to turn into a red dragon and breathe fire. In human form, the scales and yellow dragon eyes are gone, but the wings (although smaller) remain. She is also able to breathe fire while in human form. Aria changes into a dragon when her emotions get the better of her – like when she’s extremely angry, sad, upset, etc. Aria turns back into her regular human self when she is calm and at peace. This also happens after about five hours when she is so exhausted she passes out from overexerting herself.
Strengths: As a dragon, she has thick red scales that act as armor for her large body. She can breathe fire, which hurts the enemy. She can also fly with her dragon wings. In human form, Aria can breathe fire, but cannot fly. She can glide very little as a human – it’s more of something that can prevent her from injuring herself before she hits the ground. Also, Aria becomes a lot bigger as a dragon, which increases her strength.
Weaknesses and Limitations: Aria doesn’t always control when she changes into her large, dragon form. She can only stay as a dragon for about five hours max before becoming so exhausted she essentially passes out. As for the fire breathing, she can only breathe fire for as long as she can expel air from her lungs – as a dragon, it is much longer than as a human. As a human, Aria is still vulnerable to fire and burns. Although a little more susceptible to fire as a normal human, fire still hurts Aria. When she breathes fire as a human, she suffers from a few blisters and an extremely sore throat. It’d be like eating something extremely hot and having the leftover effects from that – bring on the milk! Also, her scales are only on the topside. Aria is exposed on her belly as a dragon – no scales, just dragon skin. The scale armor can withstand up to a rifle, but she can’t take several impacts until she has time to heal because her scales become loose and fall off. As for Aria’s strength, she can only lift up to a small car – like a compact car.
Physical Abilities General Physical Capabilities: Aria is flexible because of yoga and is in pretty good shape. As a dragon, she is stronger than a couple elephants and fast while flying. Her stamina is lacking while being a dragon though. It’s pretty good as a regular human though.
Fighting Style: Aria has never had actual fighting training. Her thought process with fighting is to burn and evade by breathing fire and running or gliding around, and then pull out the massive dragon card.
Fighting Style Pros/Cons: As a dragon, she can scare away normal people, and the others can hopefully be burned away or she can fly away and avoid the battle altogether. However, turning into a dragon isn’t always the best solution since she’s large as a dragon
History Of Your CharacterAria was born in Paris, France to Alexandra and Robert Faybeli. She lived in Paris until she was eight years old when her father decided to move back to the states. He was an ambassador to France for many years, but decided that he was ready to settle down, so they moved to their mansion outside of Washington DC. Her family was rather wealthy. On her mother’s side, Aria’s great grandfather founded a large insurance company, which profited greatly. After Alexandra’s parents died, she inherited all the shares and wealth accumulated over the years from that. On Robert’s side, his family was all doctors, lawyers and politicians. Robert decided to become involved in politics, and was eventually appointed as an ambassador to France.
When Aria hit the magic year of eighteen, the fun changes happened. Her boyfriend at the time, Jason, broke up with her over the phone. She was so upset and angry with him. All of a sudden, her whole body began to ache and scales grew on her arms as wings grew from her back. She grew larger and larger until she was in her whole dragon form. Aria flew off into the country until she became so exhausted that she passed out and turned back into her human form in the middle of someone’s pumpkin patch. Unfortunately, the wings didn’t go away, and they never did. They only got smaller. Aria tried to comfort herself when she woke up, but the first words out of her mouth were muffled by fire coming from her mouth instead.
She made her way back home after a distraught call to her parents, and when she returned home and showed them what was happening to her, they couldn’t accept the fact. They wanted her out of their house immediately. They would give her a certain amount of money and buy her an apartment in New York City to get Aria out of their lives. That was it. And since then, Aria has worn some kind of coat to hide the wings that stay behind because no one would ever accept her. She’s a monster instead.
Since then, Aria has lived in the apartment her parents banished her with. She created her own dog walking business because she always had a fondness for dogs, and they don’t judge her for having wings or sometimes breathing fire and turning into a dragon. Just give them some love and walk them, and they’ll be happy. One day, Aria hopes to see people like her – the ones with the strange power – mutants in control and the dominant ones because mutants understand struggle, but humans do not.

Sample RP:Aria unlocked her door and stepped inside her apartment. Home at last. It had been a long day walking Mrs. Jensen’s pitbull and Mr. McCoyan’s great dane. Taking her coat off, Aria stretched her wings. The red, scaly wings stretched across the room and it felt good to get them out of the coat. They had been cooped up all day and it was time to let it all go. Ah, she wished she never had to conceal her wings. Sure, maybe they weren’t an angel’s wings – all white and feathery, but they were red, scaly, and beautiful nonetheless.
As she sat on the couch, Aria heard a knock at the door. “Great,” Aria muttered, “Now I have to put on my coat again. Or do I?’ Aria had a thought. She glanced through the peephole and saw it was a UPS worker wanting her to sign for a package. Hitting her head with her palm, of course, it was that case of wine she bought a while ago.
Without her coat on still, she unlocked the door and kept her wings perfectly still. The UPS man’s eyes widened at the sight of her wings. “Oh don’t worry about the wings. Let’s just say, I’m feeling like it’s Halloween today,” she said.
It was relaxing time. That meant no coat, no restrictions on her wings. It was time for freedom and no pesky little human – especially one she would never see again – was going to take that precious time away from her.
“Oh. Well, have a nice evening,” the man replied. Aria could sense the fear and curiosity in his voice. At least with keeping her wings still, she could make him think it was a costume… unless he happened to see how they were actually attached.
Aria slammed the door with acquired box of wine in hand. Looking at the wine she said, “Now where were we? Oh yeah, me time.”
