Yeah-yawn-we get this bed I guess. *Del replies yawning a little. She knows this is a big concession for her father and it is probably her mother she can thank for being in the same bed as a guy she isn't married to.* Most of my cousins have left, Jackie, Jennifer, Erin, John, and Mike are the only ones left. *Delphi says making conversation to keep her self awake, but Apollo is sleeping now and Harmony and Aria are reaching the content/sleepy stage.*
"Here." Siren takes Aria from from Delphi and puts her down in the crib. "Their stuffed things are in the backpack... why don't you tuck them in while I finish up with Harmony." Then we can go out and say goodnight to everyone and go to sleep.
*[iDel nodds and buttons her self back up she gets out the babys blanketts and night toys and puts them in the crib. By this time Aria and Apollo are fast asleep and Del has to sit on the edge of the bed and pinch her self to keep up. She ends up lying down on the corner of the bed while Siren clean up Harmony, half asleep.[/i]*[/color]
Siren puts Harmony down, tucking her in with her plushie and siblings, who all have their own respective plushies tucked under their precious little arms. He then goes and pulls/carries Delphi more througly into bed.
"You wanna sleep in your clothes, or do you want me to put you in your nightgown?" He asks, amused.
Siren rolls his eyes, amused, and helps Delphi, the Ragdoll Woman, in to her nice blue nightgown, humming as he does so. Once he's tucked her in, he heads out to the kitchen, where some of the remaining family are still up playing various betting games.
"... the most adorable kids, don't you think? Good genetics, that's what it is, I'll tell you." One of them is saying, as she observes the cards in her hand.
"Yeah.... who'da thought that friggin' orthadox wop and some chink genetics would mix so well." Another says, only to get waped by the person to their right.
"Language!"
"Not to mention incorrect." Siren says, wandering out. "I think the term you're looking for is Jap. Can I play?" He says, vaguely amused.
"Sure, do you know how to play?" Jackie asks at about the same moment that Michael retracts his earlier statment and says, "Who'd thought the orthadox wop and japs genetics would mix so well, says the typical irish man."
"Don't mind Micheal, he is being crude because he is drunk and he is apoligising by pointing out he is irish and thus it is normal. Dic-k head." Jennifer says winking at Siren, obviously hopeful he might remember her just a little.
"Don't mind Jen, she is constantly in heat." Her twin sister Jackie says.
"Oh I'm in heat? I don't have kids." She says sticking out her tounge.
John laughs. "What's so funny?" Jen asks, glaring at him.
Erin replies for him, "Come off it Jenny, we all know you live with your boyfriend, you just haven't been caught-yet.
All of this happens in a matter of seconds, obviously this goup is tight knit, and abusive in a way they all appreciative of eachother for their faults.
"Chase the Ace." Mike says dealing Siren a single card. "Don't let any one see it." He warns Siren.
"It is a simple enough game," Erin tells him, " Ace is the lowest card, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, and Q are next in order. King is special." She looks at her card thinks a second and then says, "I'll stay."
Jen adds, "You want to not have the lowest card because the lowest card has to put cash in the pot. And loses a face." Jen reviews her card and hands it over to Jackie grinning evily.
"You get four faces. The winner is the last left one in the game." Jackie continues taking the card Jen hands her and giving Jen her own card. "Oh this is total sh*t, you didn't need to trade this."
"I know but yours was better." Jen says sticking out her tounge yet again, "And before you say it I didn't cheat, you have a tell!"
"Yeah ," Jackie says "I'll stay too."
John looks at his card and announces, "I'll pass." And he hands his card to Siren waiting to get Siren's back. "You have the option of trading your cards clockwise and the person you want to trade with has no choice but on the down side you could get a worse card, but if you have an Ace you really don't have a choice." He informs Siren smirking, he is passing Siren an Ace.
Mike who had been dealing took the card and handed Siren his 4 of diamonds and flips over the the Ace of spades. "The dealer who has noone to trade with takes one hit." Mike explains as he takes a hit and gets a king, and laughs while everyone else groans and throws in money and crosses off a face.
Jen informs Siren, " The person holding a king automatically forces everyone else to loose a round. Usually they are played before any trading starts but sometimes the dealer hits them self one." She then calls Mike a prick.
The game continues on. Siren picks up the game very quickly and actually is close to 'winning'. The alcohol flows freely, and Siren partakes just as freely. They're all getting along just fiiine.
The next two round gets two kings, Jen and John, forcing a three way tie at the present between Siren, Jen, and John. They are the only ones left and Siren has two faces left while everyone else only has one. The cards are still dealt by Mike. Jen looks at her card long and hard, pause, "I'll trade." Her and John switch, and John smirks while she looks at her card. "Sh*t!" She says John doesn't look at his card as he says "I'll stay." Everyone looks over to Siren.
