Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Looking for an Adapted or Mutant Roomie!

My character Lana just moved to New York to start a new job and has some ads out for roomies! She's looking to live with an adapted human because they will cancel out her power, (which would give her some peace when living at home and sleeping etc), or a psychic mutant who might be able to put up mental barriers or some other things to help her block her ability when she's home. You can see Lana's first post here and it explains a lot about her abilities and the roomie situation.

Basically, she's put out ads so if someone wanted to do a thread we could pick it up with Lana meeting your character for lunch or tea to interview them about being a roomie. It's okay if she interviews people who wont actually turn into a roomie, because it's good RPing and makes for good discussion. So we can still do a thread and simply have them decide in the end that they can't be roomates.
