Butterfly just sat and hugged Tses. She was scared and didn't know what to do and needed someone to lead her to her next move. She felt like she was falling apart and hearing Tses tell her that she loved her and that she would be Butterfly's big sister just made all of Butterfly's anxious feelings settle and made all her worries fly out the window. "Thanks Tses. You have no idea how much that makes me feel better. she said as she pulled away softly and rubbed her eyes to wipe away the tears. And as she did, she started to yawn as the feeling of tiredness began to hit her.

Tses tried not to fidget when Butterfly hugged her. She felt awkward, and memories swam at the surface of her mind. Her sister's laughter, her smile, and that desperate need for affection. Tses had been a sister. She had would have done anything to keep herself safe. She wasn't sure she could be that person again though, not for more than a moment.

Not for more than a hug.

Then the fear took over, and she felt relieved when Chloe moved away. She shifted awkwardly, and pushed her hair from her face, glancing towards Meggy. "Well, I guess we should get you home." She remarked. She momentary wondered if she should just let Chloe hang out for awhile at her place. She stood and shifted, considering it for a moment as she said goodbye to the kittens and Meggy.

Butterfly looked over at Tses when she mentioned going home and nodded her head as she yawned yet again and felt more drained than before. She stood up and hugged Meggy and said "I'll have to come back over sometime. I enjoyed coming over and talking with you and spending time with the kittens. They sure are friendly and playful. They definitely can brighten your day." She walked over to where Tses was standing waiting for her cue to leave the apartment to go back to Tses's. She hoped that she hadn't been too much of a burden or too clingy with Tses, being open with her emotions and all. She didn't wanna be another regret for someone, like she felt with her Mom. She just wanted to be loved,to be wanted around.

Tses led the way back to the apartment after a goodbye wave to Meggy. As the door shut the sounds of mewing muffled and were only faintly heard on the other side of the door. Tses pushed the door to her own apartment open, and leaned against the wall a few feet in, crossing her arms, uncertain of what to do now. It was still cold outside, and she didn't want to kick Chloe out. But she also didn't have the tact or polite nature to necessarily invite her to stay a little longer and wait out the weather.

"So...that's Meggy..." She said quietly, trying to fill the silence. The day felt like it would go on forever, and the sad emotions stuffed in her throat seemed like they would never dissipate. Maybe she just needed to move on. Maybe she had been in New York too long. She was feeling too attached, and with Ty gone, she didn't like the ache she felt. She didn't like realizing she cared enough to miss someone like that.

"That was fun and she was interesting to talk to." She said as Tses closed the door behind her and she followed her back to her apartment. She could tell that Tses was thinking over Butterfly staying any longer and it made Butterfly kind of uneasy. She couldn't leave now with the weather being as bad as it was, but she didn't wanna hurt Tses anymore. Maybe she should just keep quiet and go straight to bed, that is if Tses would let her stay. She stood outside her door for a moment and then asked, "So can I stay the night? I'll leave first thing in the morning."

Chloe asked if she could say, and Tses felt herself nodding slowly. She jabbed a thumb at the couch, and pulled a pillow off the bed to hand to her. "It's not much, but it's comfortable enough to sleep on. I don't really have a spare room or anything but you can crash there if you want." She pushed her hair from her face and sat on the edge of her own bed.

Outside flakes of snow stuck to the window pane occasionally. Tses's skin tingled slightly with the memory of sleeping out in the cold like that. She was grateful for the shelter she had now. Even if she could deal with the cold, it didn't mean she liked it. She couldn't imagine what it would be like being unaccustomed to it like Chloe though.

Chloe walked through the doorway and thanked Tses for her hospitality and letting her stay there. "This'll be fine. Anything is better than being out there." and motioned to the snow coming down outside. She was grateful for being able to stay here and not have to be out in the cold trying to find her way home.

She walked over to the couch and moved the pillow to wear it would be comfortable for her. She laid down and found the one comfortable position that she could fall asleep easy, on her stomach. She closed her eyes and felt her achy, tired body just give to the soft cushions of the couch and knew that she would be asleep soon. "Goodnight, Tses. I hope you sleep well." As she finished her sentence, Chloe drifted off into a deep heavy sleep, where she dreamed of her brother being back with them and them all having a great time just spending it with each other.
