Other features: N/A Everyday clothing style: Uniform: Red leather Jacket, several knife sheaths and a masquerade mask. Sleepwear: Either what she’s wearing when she passes out, or nothing at all. Miscellaneous clothing: None. Character Personality: Alice is a complicated girl, she’s undying loyal to those who earn her trust, and even more protective of those that she has affection for. On one side she’ll take several bullets for those kinds of people, but on the other hand anybody who she doesn’t explicitly trust isn’t ever entirely safe in her presence.
Alice’s life experiences have left her personality quite unstable. She can go from calm to violent at the drop of a hat, she has a much larger mean streak going. A disdain for the systems of government and law, and above that a level of disdain for the Male sex in general. She uses her power as a tool to terrify others and has no problem engaging in rampant chaos.
She finds pleasure in simple things like books and extremely violent games, fighting and pretty ladies. She’s quite the flirt with any woman that catches her eye. Hobbies/ Interests:She’s still a big book geek, she still plays video games on occasion and is into fitness. As well as causing general mayhem. Job or part time job and description: N/A. Fears/ phobias/ concerns:Phobia of snakes, fear of getting close to people and nightmares about losing the people that are close. Special talents: (not related to mutation) Morality Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Chaotic evil, Alice has very little in the way of a moral compass. She has no problem outright murdering someone that has irritated her, or just if things are getting a little too boring. She switches from relaxed to murderous extremely quickly, and on top of that has certain groups and people that if stumbled onto would cause her to set off immediately.
The only thing that would make her exercise restraint would be younger children and orphans. Teenagers are not exempt from her ire. Mutations Mutation description: Mostly unchanged here. Except for the second power Growth, which is as follows.
Haemokinetic assisted healing:Alice’s power developed differently to Serena’s the second time that it grew and expanded. It’s almost the reverse of the second growth in fact, as she gains the ability to heal herself through ingesting or transfusing the blood of others into her system. It will heal her body and help to keep her systems going. This healing isn’t instantaneous but rather accelerates her normal healing process.
Strengths: -Wounds that would take days to heal simply take a few hours, and so on and so forth for greater or lesser injuries, as long as blood has been ingested.
-Alice gains some sustenance from consuming or ingesting extra blood, this means that while she cannot live off of it, she can survive on a more limited amount of protean and minerals and water, while ingesting blood from other regularly.
-Alice functions as a universal recipient, able to take in any blood type.
Weaknesses and Limitations: -Alice needs to ingest blood regularly to retain the benefits above, and if she went without doing it for 24-48 hours depending on the amount in her system, she would entirely lose the benefits, and likely feel more easily exhausted and irritable than before.
-The healing isn’t miraculous or instantaneous, it simply accelerates her own healing process. This means that if she’s going to bleed to death in seconds, ingesting a little blood isn’t going to stop that.
-Ingesting more than a couple of pints of blood has no extra effect on her than just having it in her system to begin with, in fact if she consumed too much, she could make herself seriously sick. Akin to getting bad food poisoning. Any more than 3 pints in 24 hours would do this to her.
-A few drops won’t do it, she needs to take in at least a pint.
Physical Abilities General Physical Capabilities: Alice is fast, fairly tough when it come to taking hits and sustaining damage and also has a fair bit more muscle than MRO Serena does, as a result she can hit harder. She regularly works out with cardio and muscle building exercise.
Fighting Style: Alice went through basic hand to hand training and got a very good grounding in self-defense as a teenager, before the incident which caused her psychotic break, since then she’s gotten very good at what she dubs street fighting. She is very much a dirty fighter, not afraid to go for guarded weak spots in a pinch or blinding her opponents, and is ruthless when she has an advantage at pressing it, going for the kill.
She uses her mutation like a tool in combat, and while not entirely opposed to using her own blood generally prefers to make her opponents bleed and use it against them. She’s also very aggressive using her mutation, aiming to maim and injure opponents before going for a sure-fire kill. Holding back is not something she actively engages in.
Fighting Style Pros/Cons: A large pro to the way that Alice fights is that it’s quick, dirty and brutal. Most people don’t have time to react to how vicious she is in those situations. Anybody who’s not prepared for her, or holds back on any basis such as her being female is likely to get dropped very very fast. Secondly the way she blends attacking with her hands and blades, and her mutation makes it difficult for a lot of people to deal with. The obvious Con to this is that Alice has little in the way of formal combat training, and somebody who had a large amount of it over her would likely be able to get the upper hand in a physical confrontation if they hadn’t underestimated her. History Of Your Character Serena was born to Elizabeth Rivers and Michael Worthmore. In Buckinghamshire, just outside of London. Her Mother was part of a wealthy, traditional English family, and her father was a local police officer. Her grandparents looked down upon this, especially considering that Serena was the second child to be born of the two, after her older brother Jake. While she was still too young to really remember, Serena's mother passed away from illness, her father took custody of her away from her grandparents. Her childhood was relatively normal, her older brother lived with the two of them until he was 16, at which point he moved away and went to college in another city, before going to university in the US. He still visited as much as possible, as the two of them were very close though. Around the time she was 14, Serena and her dad moved her to New York City, were her older brother was working after having finished university. The two of them worked within the NYC police force. Her Father over the years was more and more distant since she’d been a child. It wasn’t a healthy environment at the best of times, but everything came crashing down when her older brother was murdered before her at the age of 14. Her powers activated the same night, resulting in her avenging his murder.
By the time she’d gotten home and finished explaining things to her father he’d called the other officers in homicide, and spent most of the next 30 minutes not even acknowledging Serena’s presence. By the end of the phone calls and running around their apartment, during most of which the young mutant was in shock he turned to her and dispassionately explained that she’d committed murder at worst, manslaughter at best. He put the law first, before the safety and mental stability of his own daughter. Something inside her snapped that day, and resulted in her fleeing from the apartment at the second his back was turned for more than a couple of seconds. For whatever reason, he didn’t pursue her.
A tired and mentally broken Serena spent the night wandering the city, stained with blood that was mostly cloaked by the darkness before falling asleep shivering in an alley, just barely sheltered from the weather.
She spent the next few weeks in a fragile state, stealing what she could from places, and scavenging what else she could from wherever it was thrown in a pile. Whilst in this fragile state, she triggered her powers again a few times, experimenting a little with it. Removing the blood from her clothes, and taking some solace in the little spike of stability it shoved into her mind, being able to control something.
She came across slightly elder, but kindly woman who were in a similar situation of dress to herself, frayed and caked in dirt. When asked her name, she hesitated for a few moments for some reason before her mind wandered to stories she’d read over the years, responding with Alice who was involved in a great deal of interesting writing about unfamiliar surroundings and implied madness. The reluctance to use birth names didn’t seem to perturb the woman, who picked up on it, as it was sadly common on younger runaways and other homeless teens.
She spent a couple of months with them, learning how to survive on the streets before parting from them and doing her own thing. Alice also continued to experiment with her powers, often finding dried or slightly fresher blood in alleys and other places. Getting gradually better at it. One evening a man with a knife attempted to rob her of her belongings, which were very few at the time. However he’d not used a gun, he’d attempted so with a knife draped in blood and had ended up losing his own life.
Over the next few years, she began to ghost around areas of the city at night, occasionally finding disturbing or violent and angry men and relieving them of their belongings at knifepoint, and whether or not they kept their lives was generally up to their level of cooperation, and politeness in the face of the unstable mutant.
During these years, she made connections with criminal elements of the city, and several of them became very wary of a mentally unstable blonde, with a thing for knives who didn’t tend to leave much evidence when she did her thing. She started getting paid by shady associates to ‘dispose’ of problems and competitors for money. She turned out to be pretty good at this. And through a combination of theft and effectively becoming a hitter she managed to get enough money to live a little more comfortably, by way of moving between low priced, low quality rooms paid for in cash.
By the time she was in her early adult years her connections had led to her become a member of an underground organisation known as ‘Ragnarok’, and by the time she was 21 through doing various jobs for them she’d come to work in a role for them from time to time, and though she was relatively independent for a member of the organisation, she rarely turned down jobs from members with the money and discretion to hire her, and almost never turned one down from Poseidon, for he was one of the few men she’d met in years that she had a measure of respect for, and he rewarded better for well-done jobs than most.
Over the time she spent growing a person, she met and befriended a younger teenager with a power also involving blood, she was a vampire. Serena formed a bond with this girl, and by the time she was a legal adult she adopted her under her new name, using the support of the Ragnarok organisation to organise it, and is now the girl's legal Guardian, though she treats her much more like a younger sister.
Now she was in a situation of relative independence, taking jobs in a sort of mafia ‘cleaner’ position, was feared by any who knew her and treated with a measure of respect. And on top of all of that she had a steady, fairly high source of income with connections to acquire contraband, or shelter herself from forces such as the agents of SUPER, or the X-men.
