The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hunter entered the war room. He had contacted Jazz and Zephyr not long ago and informed them of the meeting. Taking his seat he manipulated the controls and brought up a hologram of the mansion.
Both Jazz and Zephyr had talents useful for what he had planned, and with him going along personally he was confidant of success. The only slight concern he had was how professional Jazz could be.
He knew that Zephyr was a consummate professional and would be able to quickly and efficiently execute his part of the plan. Jazz he was unsure of, but knew that if she failed he could simply pull her off the mission and he and Zephyr would continue alone.
He hoped he wouldn’t have to, but the fact that he could was the only reason he was risking someone he wasn’t completely sure of on such a vital mission. Soon enough he would have Paragon.
Stalking through the complex tunnels that riddled the earth under Mondragon labs Zephyr irritably made his way one more to Hunters controversially named “War Room”. The vampiric entrepreneur had once again called upon his services and the merc was never one to turn down a paycheck. Still the man had worst sense of timing of anyone he had ever met; the elemental had been mere planning to use this week for a brief excursion to Arizona in order to visit the famed Grand Canyon. Simon had literally been minutes away from starting his “flight” when the expensive eyesore that Hunter had called a watch began to vibrate on his kitchen counter. The elemental had seriously considered simply ignoring the call, certain that he could come up with some excuse that would satisfy his employer but in the end he had merely sighed, placed his light weight suitcase on the balcony of his suit for easy pick up at a later date and sought solace in the fact that the next paycheck he received would allow him to purchase some replica’s of his motorcycle so that if a certain foolish individual ever attempted to steal his original machine he would have no hesitancy in destroying both the bike and it’s rider.
At last coming to his destination Zephyr paused a moment to allow the automatic doors to detect his presence and to give himself a moment to mask his irritation, it was hard enough to make most people to take him seriously because of his age, he did not need Hunter to believe him some sulking adolescent. So as the metallic doors slid open the elemental casually made his way inside and inclined his head towards his employer as acknowledgment of his presence before taking his usual place at the circular table, sadly there were no conveniently discarded sheaves of paper this time, much to Simon’s disappointment.
Cafas: "Zephyr is the king of bad decisions, but if Sebby being weak to ghost is anything to go by, not so amazing at follow through."
Jazz sped towards the Labs in the Vette Hunter had provided her with. She had woken up that morning to the sound of her watch vibrating. She quickly picked up the message, the very brief, vague message from Hunter telling her to get down to the labs, that it was time for her first mission.
The labs were huge but luckly they were meeting in the war room, which was probably the only place Jazz could have figured out how to get to. She parked the car in the same spot she had picked it out from and started the walk towards the War room, her high heels clip-clopping just beneath her tight blue jeans. After about the third cycle of walking a floor that she thought the war room was on, she sighed heavily and decided to do it the easy way. Jazz quickly rushed around the labs, going almost her top speed, surveying every nch of the place before she finally found the room.
Jazz smiled and took a moment to straighten her flowing shirt before walking closer to the door. She approached the automatic door and fumbled with it a little, not perfectly understanding the timing of it and walked into the room. She nodded to Hunter as she approached him and another man she hadn't met, both sitting at the table.
