I'm A Mess (Vincente)

Regan emerged from the trees with Vincente; she couldn’t believe what she was seeing! There were all types of mutants around the grounds of the mansion. Some looked like Vincente, human but they were using powers, others were visibly mutated in different ways. She let out a small gasp and covered her mouth with a clawed hand.

Looking at Vincente with his out stretched hand, Regan smiled softly with a few tears welling in her eyes. She hesitated slightly to take it, but finally placed her furry hand in his gently. She was so full of different emotions and she wasn’t sure why. She was happy, sad, nervous, worried, confused, and who knows what else! Blinking back the tears, she nodded at Vincente when he spoke, welcoming her to the mansion. With a soft and strained voice, from her emotions, she simply said “Thank you.”
