Sonny is, as of now, one of the newest additions to Mutant Revolution Online, and due to way too much work and not enough play, my muse has been on overload recently.
Because of this, I would love to begin threads with anyone who is interested, and I would be more than happy to plot on this board or via private messages - whichever is easiest!
Brainstorming is always great, and I'm up for all kinds of ideas, so if there was anything you ('you' as in anonymous and hopeful partner/lovely member of MRO than I am honored to potentially write with) had in mind, let me know, and we could elaborate, hash out details, and all of that fun, nifty junk that comes with starting a roleplay.
Since it's just common courtesy - a 'cheat/fact sheet' - or whatever - about Sonoma is right below your eyes.

- Certified Mortician.
- A twenty-seven year old mutant with the ability to manipulate blood flow via touch, adrenal activation, and focus.
- Half Hungarian, half Miwok Indian, with a horrible, horrible habit of randomly speaking in the former tongue.
- She picked up smoking when she was around the age of sixteen and has yet to quit, she's also a heavy drinker.
- Sonny is not a nice person. I, however, am too nice for my own good, but Sonny is not. Her redeeming qualities are few to none - I'm not going to sugarcoat - she will be blatantly offensive and will probably greet your character with an "impress me" rather than a "hello". (I'm not kidding; it's basically her catch phrase.)
- BUT, Sonny is a huge believer in 'give respect to get respect'; therefore, if your character is decent to her, she will return the favor.

So, I'm not sure if any of this is useful - I just felt that it would be fair if I gave you a bit of a warning before/if you dove into a thread with her thinking she was a total sweetheart and then got an ugly surprise. Because she is not. And I am so sorry.

Sonny's a flexible character and I am a flexible writer - any ideas you have will, more than likely, sound great to me. I hope to start planning with anyone who is interested soon!

We will definitely be enjoying a Chrys/Sonny thread soon, but probably not tonight. I am content for the evening cruising with my docket of threads. When we do play with the girls, should we have them meet for the first time or should they have an established relationship beforehand?

*Ponders possible ideas on how to play with her fellow princess.*

Chrys, that's totally fine! I'm incredibly patient, but I would love to have a thread between these two at some point - it doesn't matter if it's sooner or later! However, I think it would be interesting if Chrys and Sonoma already knew each other - Lord knows Sonny needs a few allies, especially with her atrocious attitude. For the most part, I see them getting along rather well (and that's terrifying), and probably bonding over a nice glass of wine because of Chrys's exceptional taste. Sonny, honestly, is more white trash classy than anything - and those words should never be mixed together, because the outcome is not pleasant. I don't think they should be, you know, attached at the hip, but a basic acquaintance would be absolutely lovely. I see Sonny genuinely enjoying her company solely because she's sophisticated and has a family that's pretty important - and it's too apparent that Sonny thinks her father owns the entire world. I mean, I see their egos clashing from time to time - but overall I think they'd get along way too well and perhaps burn down all of New York while together. But a bit of mayhem is always fun, am I right?!

Syn, Lord, I would be honored to have a thread with you. I'm not sure if the Order needs more recruits (I forgot the ratio and I'm too lazy to look it up or find Syn's rank within the group - I suck), and I'm also not sure if Sonny would be a good fit. I'm also not sure if they'd get along because of them both being manipulative - but then again, Syn can produce pheromones, correct? Sonny would probably like her whether she wants to or not! On the other hand - Sonny would probably appreciate that Syn doesn't really take any bullcrap and is a strong, capable woman. Like I said, they'd either get along way too well, or not at all, but either way, I'd love to see them interact! Of course, this is all up to you c: If you have way too much going on right now, my patience is virtually inexhaustible. If not; heck, I'd love to figure something out!

I'm completely flattered you think so highly of Syn. I'm honored! You are correct in that she doesn't take stuff from people and is definitely an alpha type personality. As for the Order, we're always looking for new recruits. That choice is up to you however. Only you know what you want for Sonny.

No, seriously, Syn is a great character. I am completely floored with the quality of everyone here and I think that if I say this one more time something bad is going to happen but oh my gosh, all of these characters and the level of writing I've seen thus far (I am SO NOSY it's a fact I reiterate way too much because repeating myself is my uncanny mutant talent) is so phenomenal and ugh. Everyone is so lovely. I'm so thrilled with this site y'all don't even understand.
Fft, I have no clue what I want to do with Sonny. She's such a pain in the butt. I think she'd be a good fit mainly because she's rather relentless and will go to extremes to get what SHE wants - but that's also the problem - she's selfish and learning how to work for an entire group will be a horrible experience and someone will probably kill her. Sonny also gets all weird and nervous if she's not in control of something which results in full-blown hissy fits and a lot of cursing in a foreign language.
Syn just really interests me for some reason and oh my gosh I just really want Sonny to follow her around like a love-sick puppy (because that's probably what I would do) but gah she's such a jerk and I have no clue if they'd be total dudebro's or if they'd be trying to kill each other within .2 seconds of meeting. Although recruitment is always fun and such an easy, easy place to start off with (every time I've every used Sonny in X-Men stuff she has always gone back and forth between the Brotherhood and X-Men - she would sell secrets and it was actually really fun but that's totally beside the point) and, of course, it doesn't always end up with recruitment and I have no clue where I was going with this so if you can decipher this mindless ramble I am going to be really impressed.
I don't really know how I want it to happen - whether it's something formal like an Order type deal or just an incidental bump while out on the town - but I mean, like I said before, I'd be more than honored to have a thread with Syn whenever you are able, comfortable, and if/when there's something sorted out!

I understood all of it. I think the possible bumping while out on the town would be most likely as Syn currently has no reason to visit a mortician. Syn reads people rather well and might become intrigued with Sonny even if she starts out rude. *Already picturing Sonny making comments on Syn's attire*

A random bump totally works with me, especially since the one place Sonny is guaranteed to be at aside from a funeral home is a bar. It's so cliche and overdone but it's simple and to the point. Of course, like mentioned before, I'm flexible and can work with anything, so whatever fits Syn the best will, ultimately, fit Sonny the best. I'm cool with taking her out of her comfort zone - torturing characters is the meanest thing I ever do, hahaha. Mainly because they can't punch me in the face or yell at me and I get really upset when those two things happen.
BUT, yes, Sonny will have a field day with clothing. She's such a pretentious snob in her tailored blazers and the occasional leather coat and even though she is far from a saint she always dresses rather modest and it's SO WEIRD and she will probably bother Syn so much about her piercings and how 'she shouldn't ruin something rather appealing with something so atrocious' except whatever comes out of her mouth will be ten times more snide but I'm pretty certain Syn can handle her mouth and that will also win Sonny over because anyone who doesn't immediately tell her to follow through with a very awful phrase that even I'm embarrassed to say and, instead, sticks around to drown in her cynicism is 'all right' in her book.
I really don't think that there will be too much conflict between the two but Lord only knows. I mean, the whole 'respect' thing is so important to her and if Syn thinks Sonny is interesting with her lack of emotionality then Sonny would happily return the favor.
Plus, if Syn is the type of person (I have no clue if she is) to flaunt what she can do and what she's apart of, Sonny would probably attempt to be nicer than usual just because she would assume that she had a really strong ally that would probably get her out of a jam whenever her mouth overloads her butt.
Which happens quite often, might I add.

You're more than welcome to look over Syn's profile if you haven't already. She prides herself on being different. So if Sonny decides to comment on her clothes it'll only make Syn smile. Syn loves getting reactions from people one way or another. She enjoys keeping people on their toes in regards to not knowing what'll happen next, but most character that have met with Syn in the past have been able to sense that she's a strong figure. As for her flaunting her power or her affiliation...she generally keeps those things more behind the scene. She won't burst into a place claiming to be part of the Order or anything.

Aaand I now have Syn's character practically memorized. I think that Sonny will appreciate that, really. She's been surrounded by nothing but strong-willed people and it's all she's used to and one of her largest pet-peeves is someone who has no confidence - I believe that this fact alone will be enough to make her be somewhat decent towards Syn; plus, the issue with Sonny is keeping her interested. If Syn is the type to keep people on their toes - it'll all be well and good between the two.
Of course, two people who are so similar with how they act will butt heads - it's inevitable - but for the most part, I honestly don't think that there will be too many altercations between the two. Honestly, if I was to speak without the circles, I have no clue how Sonny will react to Syn - but she'll make an attempt to be polite solely because Syn might be bigger, meaner, and stronger than she is.
Who knows. Sonny is difficult, even for me. She gives me a headache. Sheesh.
Ah, okay! I was just wondering - but that's good! Sonny's not one to flaunt anything either (unless it's needed to 'knock someone down a peg', then she'll happily pull rank as if her position within a group that's about 7-ish hours away is even relevant), which is odd, because she's so arrogant, but of course, it always helps to be mature about things. And, to be honest, Sonny would probably not care if Syn announced it oh my gosh she'd probably just shrug and roll her eyes or something I don't even know she is such a douche bag.
It's too early for me to be typing. I need to stop.
Either way, and like I've said many times before, interaction between the two would definitely be interesting.

Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire still need threads if you want to pick one of the girls to have threads with. It might be interesting depending on which of the girls you want to rp with if you want to rp with them?

Oh, man, I love all three of the girls - they all sound so fantastic.
I would love to have a thread with them all - but Ruby is very young, and Sonny has little time to deal with children.

It's seriously a tie between Sapphire and Emerald - both of them sound lovely and their personalities are fantastic (the 'I'm Superior' aspect of Sapphire is identical to Sonoma's whole mindset, as well as Emerald's assertion of dominance) and I am having a hard time trying to figure out which one I would prefer~

On a serious note, I think that either would make an interesting dynamic in a thread with Sonny - so, the choice is all yours, because I am indecisive and I suck at everything.
I just really like all three of them /sob.
But I do have an open thread up in NYC: Rec so if you just wanted to throw one of your lovely mutants into that, I'd be totally cool with that.
If not, of course, more planning can ensue and I can force myself to pick one of the two and stop being so stupid - but these are your characters and it's all up to you and I am so das't bad at decision ohmygod.
