Mutation description:
Jean was born with the ability of super speed; thanks to this he is able to move his body at speeds many times that of the normal human. Thanks to his x-gene, his reaction time is many times that of the average human making him very hard to hit. This is attributed to his enhancement of his sensory perception which allows him to take in his surroundings at a much quicker rate the most. Just as his running speed is enhanced, his hands are able to move much quicker than the average person. His power though in terms of strength is still average in comparison to the average person; its only enhancement is its speed which allows for extremely quick movements. His body has adapted to high speed travel which allows him to move without suffocating and keep from his body heating up while moving at high speeds. His average running speed is about 40mph which is considered about a light jog, his full sprint somewhere around 75mph which he could maintain for several seconds before needing to stop and catch his breath. Severally pushing himself past that or for too long can leave him extremely winded and deplete his calories too much which can result in him passing out from exhaustion
Strengths: - Easily outrun anyone - Enhanced reflexes/reaction time - Depending on distance can remain hidden from sight - Fast arm movements (allow for much easier thefts/combinations)
Weaknesses and Limitations: - Due to his bodies accelerated metabolism, he needs to consume an insane amount of calories (somewhere near 100,000) a day to keep up with his bodies consumption of calories - He has trouble controlling his new found speed, so turning on a dime would be almost impossible; he needs to ease into his turns. -Due to his intense speed, falling while moving at such a high speed can result in injury

General Physical Capabilities: He is in peak physical shape, having an low body fat level thanks to his metabolism. He is of average strength but his speed, reaction time, and reflexes are at super mutant levels Fighting Style: Jean is trained in the French fighting style Savate and parkour Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Savate is a fighting style which only uses punches and kicks in combination. Its pros is that he is able to quickly strike and move, the cons are that if wrapped up or taken to the ground he is not able to do much.
History Of Your Character
Jean-Christophe was born on the south side of Baton rouge, for the first couple years of his life he had a regular childhood, his father a criminal lawyer and mother a housewife who raised Jean and his younger brother François. During a criminal case against a large pharmaceutical company his father was offered a bribe to throw the case, but since he declined their family was sent into a downward spiral. His father was framed for a large theft in the area in said pharmaceutical company which reeked of foul play but many say the officials where in the pockets of the heads of the companies.
Shortly after his mother had to pick up several jobs just to make ends meet to provide for her boys and pay for her husband’s court fees. As their family funds where in the deep negatives Jean was forced to fend for himself on the streets at a young age. He would often steal food for his family and himself that until he got into high school where his uncle took him in. His uncle Claude was the owner of a successful gym in NY and thanks to a promise claude had made with jean’s father he had agreed to take the two boys in to help their mother out. He had taken the young boys under his wing, and begun their training at a very young age in savate. Jeans attention though was in other sports, he was considered an excellent athlete, head running back for his school, soccer forward and track all-star, and was set for the rest of his life with promises of scholarships which had filled his home with the money they needed…that is until his x-gene activated.
During a track match around age 16 his super speed kicked in right from the starting line, and without noticing he had shattered all world records with that run. Because of speculation from the opposing schools he was tested for the x-gene and the results had shown positive and was forced to register, and shortly after his glimmer of hope for a better life was gone in that instant, now schools wanted a mutant athlete, it was considered an unfair advantage. Now in his sophomore year of high school he was turned again to a life of crime, and thanks to his ability he had become a master at his art. He was having trouble coping with his new ability, the world seemed to slow down immensely around him, becoming very irritable at times when forced to wait, and to top it off had to take up multiple jobs as a delivery boy just to support his need for calories. As he grew older he was faced with many people who saw his mutation as a terrible thing, criticized in the sports community as a cheater and often receiving the end of mutant racism. When he graduated high school the boy was very smart, going to NYU on a scholarship with a degree in physics. During this time his brothers x-gene had activated as a psychic telepath, he had said that reading jeans mind was like “Hearing a million thoughts at once” The boys where very close from a young age and jean wanted a better life then he had to deal with, in hopes of helping the mutant/human relationships he showed up at the doorsteps of the x-mansion with only two duffle bags full of clothes and some equipment he was ready to help change the world.

Do you have any other characters on MRO, if so who: Sample RP: Jean had just woken up, his usual morning routine of wake up at 7:50, shower at 7:51, and prepare his breakfast of 25 eggs, 32 pancakes and 3 gallons of chocolate milk with extra sugar(You know…a light snack) at 7:52. His morning activities would look like a blur to the untrained eyes, zipping around from one place to the other and an assortment of plates of food appearing the mysteriously being devoured in a flurry of movements and all within 5 minutes. He had never been late to work, not once in his career thanks to his ability, a little perk he would enjoy thanks to his x-gene. As he left his house he looked down to his watch, his normal work day began at 8:00 he smirked “Plenty of time, I’ll take the long way” and with that he took off, to anyone watching it would look like a blur, as he passed people they could hear the wind blowing past them and small items being caught in his wind-trail. With a smile on his face he would move at top speeds throughout the town, hoping, sliding and weaving in and out between the people.
