The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Shogun moved into an alleyway, so that he could still see most of the area, but could duck backwards in case the Stalker opened fire. Something else occured to him... surely Abyss' 'playing' with cars was going to attract some attention? Like police? But Shogun would be able to cope with them, as he was bullet-proof, and could sense where all of them were and what they were all doing. So he knelt next to the wall, holding his bow taught, constantly aware of everything going on the square. He gave off a pulse every now and then to check that a Stalker hadn't managed to slip through the cloud of bacteria.

Hades appeared on a nearby roof top wearing an unusual pair of shades. The shades were like high speed cameras, that took millions of snap shots a second and freeze framed them and compared and thus by being told to ignore the obvious and instead look for a slight distortion created by “invisibility fields” would allow him to pick out any stalkers. Slung over his back was a sniper rifle and there were various assortments of weapons that he had brought. He assumed recon mode and continually scoured the area for stalkers

As the robots entered the square, Shogun noticed the Shadow Stalker, but because he couldn't see he didn't realise it was invisible. Instead he focused on thier target, and aimed his bow at it. He fired, and unless the Stalker moved suddenly with speed, it should hit and cover it in psyite. Then the rest should be easy.
(OOC: I jst find it funny that one of the few people that can notice the Shadow doesn't know it's invisible )

Hades noted all the stalkers, the clocked ones and the hellfire ones, he double checked his ammunition, his Psyite bullets, his gas expanding bullets, guaranteed to take out sensors and last but not least his two stage mini rocket high explosive round, 5 of those and a limb would come off. He chambered a gas expanding bullet and moved to cover for Abyss.
“Hades to Abyss, I have sniper coverage for you, what next?”

Hades then sighted down the cross hairs of his sniper rifle, the distance was 3km, and hardly any wind, breathe in, inhale, exhale and shoot. Hades fired two rounds in rapid succession. A second later two bullets struck the stationary stalker; Hades had aimed for the two visual sensors. He would not miss at this range unless the stalkers were amazingly fast.
He immediately relocated, appearing later in another location, taking only a short while to get there due to his usage of Eridanos, he would use it then tell it to rephrase into the earth where no one could touch it. He moved around but always keeping roughly 3km distance between him and the action, and he always fired from cover, from behind windows, through blinds, he would fire, check that he had hit and then he would be gone.

Hades realised that his shots just weren’t getting through, “Drat” he though. First he radioed Gearhead. “Hey Gearhead this is Hades, im patching the live video feed from my headset to you right now.”
That done, he noticed the net being flung towards one of Abyss’s clones. He quickly dealt with that with two incendiary bullets sending that up in smoke. His rapidly analysed the situation, “If I cant destroy it then at least I can create some diversion.” Seeing that the area around the stalker was mostly civilian free, he could go all the way, not that it would matter if there were civilians there, he has a contract, and his first priority was the safekeeping of his mutant friends.
Bang, bang, bang. Around the MK-I hanging shop signs were shot from their chains, still attached to their power sources they plunged down, a few swung by their power cables in it’s direction.
Click armour piercing round followed by incendiary round to the armoured truck. The truck blew up as it flew by the MK-I. Next came the Cars around or near the MK-I they blew up.
Hades moved.
Then came any nearby overhead power cables, Hades shot with absolute precision, sending at least two cables swinging in the MK-I’s general direction, He was not only trying to wound the MK-I but to box it in, the falling signs from above, the Armoured car from the side, the cars on the ground around it, the power cables swinging from the other sides that were not blocked by the explosion. But Hades had one more thing. High Explosive round.
With a creak any lamp posts that would fall on the MK-I or block its escape route suddenly received a highly explosive round to their base, there was a creek and they started to fall.
Over the radio Hades said, “Abyss, if you can throw more cars at it, and I will light them!”
