UnaffiliatedHistory Of Your CharacterSarah grew up in the city of Seattle, Washington with her parents and older brother. Her brother was often in the local gym learning how to fight, while her parents both worked. Sarah was often spending her time alone in a crowded area, watching people. When her family spent time together, they usually went camping. Nature became Sarah's reminder of her family and the times they really were a family. Besides the camping trips, Sarah spent time with her family doing different activities. One of her favorite bonding activities was when her brother taught her how to fight.
Sarah went through school with few friends and medium grades. When she was finished with high school she went on to get a bachelor's degree in fine arts. When her degree was finished, she made an impulsive decision and moved to New York City. It took her a few weeks to get settled and find a job, but she enjoyed her life in the big city as she worked on a few art pieces in her small apartment.
Her brother's wedding was a big event in her life. She left New York in early December of 2013. Two days after her brother and new sister-in-law left for their honeymoon, Sarah's father suffered a stroke. Sarah stayed home a few weeks after the stroke to see if he would recover. When it became clear that her mother couldn't handle taking care of the financials and her father, Sarah went back to New York to pack up her belongings and moved back in with her parents.
Sarah stayed in her family home while her father went through therapy, after loosing motion in his right side of the body. She helped out around the house while painting a few things for friends. Her father gave up the fight to continue seven months after his stroke. Sarah continued to stay at home as she and her family tried to work through the loss of someone so important. Another two months after her father passed, she decided she couldn't live in Washington any longer. She started making plans to move back to New York. One of Sarah's friends told her about a studio they knew would take some of her work. After several interviews, the owner of the studio, a Mrs. Helena Trust, gave Sarah both the job and the apartment above the studio.
After her father passed away, Sarah had a hard time adjusting to the loss. She spent the next few years focused on her work, leaving everything else to fall into the gutters. After a recent visit from her cousin, she has begun to live life again. It took a few months to get back into the habit of being happy. Sarah is better than she was, but the loss of her father still shows itself every now and then.

'Unless I'm asked to take another shift,' Sarah thought as she set the plates near the washer.
'Not that I would mind, but I wanna finish that painting.'Sarah took a look out the back window at her area. The elderly couple were still finishing their dessert while the business man in the back corner had left. Seeing as the man had already paid, Sarah left the back to clean up the table. The usual bus boy was sick and the temp wasn't as good as the staff was used to. The waiters and waitresses had collectively decided to bus their own tables in the slow, quiet day.
When Sarah reached the table she immediately noticed the lack of tip the man had left. She knew there wasn't one when he paid because he used the exact amount of cash and change needed to pay the bill.
'Some people are just,' Sarah huffed as she cleaned the table of plates and the cup. She left her sentence open as she saw the hostess seat a group of four in her area.
Sarah hurried to rush the dishes to the back before getting to the table. Luckily they weren't totally ready for her but were quick to choose drinks and an appetizer. With a smile, Sarah moved to the elderly couple to see how they were doing.
"Is there anything else I can get you?" Sarah asked as she smiled. The day may have been slow, but it was never dull.
