The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Vicente snarled and gnashed his teeth. The growl that fell from his lips shook not only the area around him, but himself down to his core. He was ready to slash and bite at this demon-wolf, to rend her head from her body. He wanted this creature’s head on a pike in order to simply finish off this messy business and claim what was rightfully his.
The beast came on the attack again and Vicente managed to catch it off guard with his massive gorilla fist and his tiger’s claw. He could already feel the blood spill and a satisfied grin came across his toothy face.
The wolf was strong…but he was stronger…
Then the creature seemed to have reached its limit. Before Vicente knew it a savage look came across the beast’s face as it suddenly charged at him…
>> “COME FOR ME TWO-LEGGED SCUM…AROOOOOOOOOO”
Another wide grin. Suddenly he slammed his gorilla fist into a nearby crate, effectively shattering it and roared in response to the wolf’s cry. He roared again, his voice echoing out around them and making his ears momentarily ring. The mind of the many creatures he had consumed up until that point suddenly began to descend on him. He too saw only red and rage. This she-wolf wanted to play? Fine, he knew exactly how to play!
Roaring once again, he snarled as he charged directly at the beast.
(Autohit Permisson confirmed, feel free to autohit back in the next post)
The two titans would charge and were clearly planning on tearing into each other, but luck lily, Emerald's four legs gave her just the right speed advantage that she need to land the first blow. This wasn't to say her wound wasn't taking its toll on her, after all her left shoulder all the way down to her uppermost rib had been scratched, the top of her head was bleeding so blood was beginning to run down her face and she was partially limping with this charge cause of the glass in her foot.
Even with all that and maybe just a little luck, Emerald managed to get a foot up on him and managed to awkwardly vault up wards, biting down firmly onto the lower half of his Gorilla arm, which made her dangle in midair like some sort of limp rag doll. She knew that there probably was a better way to hit him, or that she should have done it another way, but the wolf side of her brain, the side that she was really relying on right now made her brace her front paws against that massive arm and beginning to roughly pull at the arm as blood began to fill her mouth wanting to tear off the skin roughly in order for him to gain a large gash.
That way, maybe while He was distracted with his gash she could go for his shoulder and break it roughly with her fangs, making sure he didn’t go after anyone else with such terrible powers. But first was his arm which she continued pulling at his nasty, hairy gorilla furred arm , really intending on giving him quite a bite.
He wanted a real challenge didn’t he? Well he got what he wanted. Though, Emerald wasn’t sure he would want her after this.
Vicente was armed and ready. He had had more than enough of this particular wolf and wanted nothing more than to eradicate her from the face of his planet. He was wounded already but this hunt was exactly what he wanted. A real battle, a fight with some beast that was finally worthy of enough to come close to killing him. He was going to do everything in his power to milk this fight to its marrowy center. But as he stood there, golden eyes narrowed to watch the beast charge at him, he felt himself move just a bit more sluggishly than he should.
Gorilla arm swiping out, he looked ready to rend the wolf’s head from her shoulders, but before he could, the wolf proved to be just slightly faster than he had anticipated. It moved with a grace he did not think possible for an animal of that size. Before he knew it, he felt teeth sink into his massive arm and he roared out in pain.
The biting force of this talking, demon wolf was going to break his arm in half if he didn’t dislodge her now. He swung his arm about but she refused to let go so that only left him with one option. Slashing out with his tiger claw, he aimed directly for her sides and underbelly. He drew blood but it was not enough to remove her from his grip. With a snarl, Vicente finally just spun hard enough to slam the wolf with all his might into a large forklift that had been left into the room.
A yelp and a cry, Vicente stumbled back feel a tremendous weight lifted off from his arm. He gasped as he felt the concrete on his back and the throbbing pain on his arm. Glancing over, he spied that there was a sizable bite wound and even some flesh missing. He growled, his yellowed fangs snarling as he stood up. But just as he did he heard the sounds of doors opening.
A glance behind him and a door at the far end had opened and showed ever beams of flashlights shining inside. Cursing to himself because he was obviously in no shape to take on the wolf and the guards, Vicente turned and began to flee towards another door, sticking to the shadows. He didn’t have time to look for that wolf again. As much he wanted it dead, he would have to wait. There would be another time…
