The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Vincent could feel himself blushing as she answered his question. Trying his best to ignore it he smiled back at Jade and said, “I’m glad I can help. It’s great having you here. I’d sort of forgotten how much I missed the company of people.”
He’d been so engrossed in his work before Linda had brought Jade to the island that he’d almost forgotten his social skills. But it was just like riding a bike, and after a couple of minutes it had all come back, thank goodness. He struggled to talk to Jade and not feel like a fool with his social skill, he didn’t want to think what it’s be like without them.
Jade smiled at him, noticing the blush. She thought he was kinda cute when he did that. She enjoyed him being so shy, it made him more aluring to her.
She meant what she said though, he was proably the nicest guy she had known and the most likely to get through the invisible walls she had put around herself. The walls were thick but she had a feeling that Vincey could tear them down, or at least use one of his robots to do it.
Jade looked up at the clock, her eyes widening. "Do you know we have been talking for 3 hours?" She asked him, looking at the darkness outside the window. "I think thats the longest I have been in a conversation with you."
Vincent looked over at the clock with a surprised look. So much for the quick fifteen minute break he’d planned on taking. “Wow, time really does fly. I think that’s the longest conversation I’ve had in a while.” At least the longest with someone who isn’t me or a robot he added to himself.
“I feel completely unwinded, having been able to stoop thinking about my work for that long.” He mentally kicked himself again, now he sounded like a workaholic. To be fair he was, but it wasn’t something he liked to advertise, especially to someone who he had these feelings for…
The more he thought about it the more the blush crept back into his cheeks.
Jade smiled, her tail wagging back and forth happily. She looked at him with a small grin on her face.
"Well Its good to take a break every once in a while." She replied, tail wagging still. "So...do you want me to get you anything from the kitchen like brownies or something?"
A smile crept across his features at the mention of brownies. “We have brownies? Nobody told me we had brownies. I’d love one, I’ve always had a bit of a sweet tooth.” Watching her wag her tail he couldn’t help but smile. It seemed her all the more alluring.
He finished he water and set the glass down on the coffee table. Then, swinging his feet off the sofa and back onto the floor he said, “Seeing as you got the water I’ll go get the brownies.” Standing up he headed for the kitchen, pausing halfway.
“That is, I’ll get them if you tell me where they are.” He said with a grin.
Jade smiled in response. Her smile was bright and sunny as it always was, but at the metion of brownies she had more of a evil glint in her eyes.
"Bottom shelf of the refridgerator next to the whip cream and two down form the milk." The Husky woman replied as if hinting what food stuffs she wanted with it.
Now Desert wise Jade made the best deserts, she never ever burnt anything, food wise...well thats another story.
Nodding his understanding Vincent went into the Kitchen and opened the fridge. There were the brownies, right where Jade had said they would be. Picking them up he closed the fridge and headed back into the living room.
“Here we are, one plate of brownies.” He said, setting them down in front of Jade and lying down opposite her. “You know, this actually is quite comfortable.” Picking a rather large brownie he took a bite.
“Mmm… these are delicious. You defiantly have to make more of them.” He took another bite, savouring the taste.
Jade grinned eating a huge chunk of Brownie. She grinned softly, tail wagging back and forth slowly. She had a bunch of chocolate stuck in her teeth and when she realized it she blushed licking her teeth.
"Really? Im usualy not that good of a cook." She replied, tilting her head to the side like a dog.
“Well you can certainly make a good brownie,” said Vincent, polishing off his brownie. Reaching for another he paused half way and said, “I’ll go get something to wash these down with, what would you like?”
Personally he could go for the strawberry smoothie that he’d made that mrning for breakfast, but hadn’t drunk all of yet. He started to get up while listening for her request.
In the midst of her second brownie, Jade managed to swallow a chunk down. She grinned a him again.
"Milk if you dont mind getting it." She replied, trying to clean the chocolate out of her teeth. She was blushing once again, not really liking the fact she looked like a doofus in front of him.
Smiling back at Jade, he got to his feet. Spotting the chocolate on her teeth he realised that it would be on his as well, so as soon as he was out of slight he licked it off. Opening the fridge he pulled out the jug of smoothie and the carton of milk. With the milk in his hand and the smoothie pressed against his side with his arm he went after glases.
Pulling two from a cupboard he headed back towards the living room. “Here we are,” and almost as soon as the words were out of his mouth the jug of smoothie slipped free and spilt across the carpet.
“Drat!” almost tripping over himself he got to the coffee table and put the milk and glasses down before heading back towards the kitchen to get something to mop up the mess. Smooth Vincent, he thought to himself, very smooth.
Jade giggled girlishly at Vincent's little spil. She Started to freeze the smoothy before it absorbed into the carpet. She got almost all of it and she put it into her empty water glass. She took a bite of Brownie, taking a large swig of milk with it. It made her already good brownies even better.
"I dont think you are going to need to clean up Vincey. I got most of it up," Jade smiled, "Now get in here your milk is gonna get warm and i dont like to freeze milk, it tastes kinda funny."
Vincent was still looking around for something to mop up when he heard Jade calling that she’d sorted it. Wondering how he headed back into the living room and saw the frozen chunks of smoothie in her glass.
“Well, that power of yours sure is handy.” Sitting down next to her he picked up his glass and another brownie. Taking another bite he mumbled “Mmm, ‘dis is wealy ‘ood,” through a mouthful of brownie before washing it down with some milk.
Jade laughed, almost choking on her brownie. She drank her milk, quickly tail wagging back and forth happily. She whipped the Milk mustace off of her upper lip, smiling at him.
"Well Im glad you like them so far it has been the only thing I can cook without burning it." She replied with a happy grin on her face.
Jade looked over at the time and let out a small yawn. "I think Im going to have to head to bed soon though, my eyes are getting droopy." She said, rubbing them.
Glancing at the time Vincent saw that it was indeed getting late. Taking another gulp of milk he said, “I should probably be hitting the sack too. Tomorrow I’ve got to see if I can get the secretary robot to understand accents and if I can ever find the time stop the damn toasters running away from people all the time.”
Grabbing a final brownie he finished it in a few quick bites and washed it down with the rest of his milk. “Superb. Well, if this is all you can cook without burning then you’ll just have to cook lots of these.” He said with a broad smile.
