The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

James stared at the impound lot, it was well after sunset but the lights around the lot illuminated it as if it were day. There were two gaurds and a dog, one guard was in the bootha t the front the other walking the dog. James waited for the man with the dog to pass him then he squeezed through an opening he had made a few days ago. In front of him was a group of cars that had been totalled in a wreck, from the looks of the cars it was from street racing. He then made his way as stealthfully as he could to the nearest shadows, cast from a large black windowless van in near pefect condition. James looked around the lot and spotted his car, it was located between two large semi truck trailers. He started to make his way to it, moving from shadow to shadow. The whole time that James was doing this he was just hoping that Eric was watching his back or atleast watching the cops.

Eric Had one eye on James, and the other was watching the cop in the booth. His sword seemed to be twitching in his hand wanting to cause some trouble. He didn't want to blow their cover and get James into more trouble, but once James got to his car Eric was making his move and going for the cop. He sat there wondering why he hated that cop he had never seen. Maybe he just seemed like the typical normal....munching on his junk food, and soda not caring about anything when people like Eric were looked down upon because they were different. Oh well Eric scratched this from his mind. He needed to focus.
James made it to his car, but there was a problem. As he got to the door and grabbed the handle, opening the door James sat in the driver seat. He had made it to the car but he didn't have the keys and they weren't it the ignition. The cop in the booth must have them, James motioned for Eric to make a distraction by making a gun with his hand. He just hoped that Eric understood what he was meaning. As James was making this signal the cop with the dog walked right in front of the car and turned towards James. Had the cop seen him? He hoped not, or else that dog would be tearing out his throat right now. James saw the shadow of the cop at the window, he had seen him. James didn't waste a second, he puched the door open as hard as he could throwing the cop into the trailer that was behind him knocking him unconcious. As the cop fell he let go of the dog's leash, James leaped on top of his car and using what power he could accurately use, he shot it at the dog, stunning it. He then started toward the guard booth.

Eric smiled. Now things were getting interesting. He raced James to the booth. Eric wanted this cop for his own, James had had the other and Eric wasn't going to be left out. Eric got to the side door to the booth and kicked it down. The cop was point his gun at him shacking. "Oh please....spare me this sad attempt at a defense fat man" Eric said as he rolled his eyes. Eric lifted his swords pointing it at the cop and laughed. The cop fell to his knees begging to live. Eric shrugged and ran his sword right through him. "well that was nice" he thought.....now for the keys....he turned around and looked for James.
James arrived at the booth, only to find a bloody mess. He couldn't look in, for it was to disgusting. "Mine are the ones with the guitar pick on the keyring, and find some chevy keys. Theres a van that we could use ove there, and not to sound bossy but could u cut a hole in the fence so we can drive through." James ordered as he stuck his hand in and waited for the keys to be placed in his waiting hand.

Eric looked around and found the keys....he handed them to James, and then looked for another set of keys. "here got them, yeah sure I'll go cut a hole, and then I'll take the van back and you can take your car." Eric did this and climbed into the van..it smelled, but it was big. Eric started it up and headed out.
James took the keys and got back to his beloved car in a hurry. Getting into the GTO, James fired it up, oh the of the V-8 was so soothing to him. It brought back very fond memories, but no time for them now. He stepped on the gas and headed for the hole Eric had made in the fence, getting out of the hole and heading back to the hideout.
