Kasumi is laying in her bed looking out the window. She does not even move for now. Today is her birthday like she cares right about now. She does not even want to do anything but sleep it away. She still rembers last year tears comes to her eyes soon she curls up into a ball. God she hated feeling like this. Kasumi just wanted to sleep this day away do nothing.

She is not sure how many here know about her birthday she hopes that none knows about it. Letting out a soft sigh as she rubs her eyes with the back of her hand. She rolls on to her back looking at the bear room she does not know what to do. She soon gets her MP'3 player she puts in her ear buds soon she flips it on to a play list.

Kasumi soon closes her eyes as she trys to dround out all of the sad feelings that she has. Shaking her head softly soon she is back in a ball looking at the few things that she has out. She is not tired yet she just wants to sleep why?

Kasumi soon finds herself on her back again. Her long red hair is in a tight brad now to her mid back. She trys her best not to think of anything. She does not want to think right now. She is not sure what to do right about now. Kasumi is just laying there looking into space.

Aura had no idea it was kasumi's bierthday, she knew Kausmi celebrated it, but to Aura the day's just went by and she paid littile attention to the actual month and year as in her opinion nether were needed. She did however know that Kausmi was not feeling to great from the before when she had rescued her in the park. She had taken the human attack on her rather badly, and to an extent she guessed she could not blame her. Kausmi had been under the mistake that humans would appreciate her kindness.

Aura ahd obtained Kausmi's room number from Lisa early in the day and then Aura had gone out on a sort of shopping spree, shopping in the sense that she had stopped by a place that owed quite a bit on their mutant insurance and offered them in exchange they had been overly joyed to take. Aura had no idea that after the exchange the family had taken a flight that night to Europe. Still she hoped kausmi enjoyed the welcome home gift she had gotten her. She had even asked various people to come and help her out.

Knocking on the door, it popped open, having only been partly closed. She took a few steps in and smiled at her old friend. "hey" she said softly. "How are ya feeling?" she asked further hoping she was adjusting well to the place. She had no real idea what things were like in the mansion but she could not imagine they were healthy for any good self respecting mutant. "Figured i would welocme ya to the place" she said going on.

Amber wasn't particularly fond of the daytime, she never had been. Her sensitive skin prevented her from going outside for more than a few minutes at a time, unless it was completely overcast and even then she still had to cover her entire body with robes. She disliked the daytime even more now that she had discovered her mutation but couldn't quite seem to figure out exactly how to work. In the daylight people noticed if dinosaurs suddenly appeared and when people noticed, people generally panicked. At night time they were less likely to notice.

Amber's sister, Aura, must have realized how pent up the daytime made her feel because she invited her to come and visit a friend of her's by the name of Kasumi and while she had never met the woman before, everyone in Sanctuary had been so nice to her that she was looking forward to it. She hadn't really been told much about the woman aside from her name and the fact that she was a mutant. Not only was it something to do during the peak part of the day, however, but it was also a good exercise in improving her confidence and her new found goal of trying to break her stutter.

After taking a quick shower, Amber made her way to the appointed room that Aura had told her about earlier. She knocked on the partially open door causing it to swing all the way open. "H-hello? Aura and K-Kasumi?" Aura, of course, she recognized immediately and she could only assume that Kasumi was the one with the fascinating green and blue spots.

Kasumi hears a knock on her door soon she sits up wiping her cheeks. No matter how bad she was feeling alone she felt better with others around her. Kasumi put up a small smile "I a little bit better still lost over eveything but better." She gets to her feet out of everything that happened Ksaumi worked herself harder so her tone is much more stronger then it was. Form her sit ups and things like that she has a toned tummy one would call nice 6 pack. Kasumi sits down in a chair "Have a seat." Soon a ring is herd Kasumi sights "One second."

She picks up her phone there are tow happy voices singing to her like always her mom and dad. That made Kasumi smile "Thank you both. No I am not I know it is my birthday but I just feel like taking it easy today... " Kasumi nodded "No I am not alone I have some friends with me yes I will call you tomorrow love you mom and dad ok bye."

Kasumi hung up her phone "Sometimes mom and dad want me to do something huge every year for my birthday." Shaking her head softly as she lets out a small laugh. Soon her head titles to the side as she sees Amber. Smiling as she nods "Yes I am Kasumi nice to meet you." Speaking in her happy some what high pitch voice. A habit that her mother thought her and well she does it alot. Kasumi smiles more the sweet kind smile that she always has.

Even if this year has been hard on her she is starting to feel like her old self again. That feels good Kasumi looks at both of them "I was wondering if you two would like to get some dinner after sunset. I really do not want to go out in the day. It is my birthday after all."

Kasumis room has boxes of her things soon she goes to a box pulling out her PS3 and Wii sitting them up in a very good time "Until then we can stay here and play games. I have alot of games." Ah it felt so nice to feel good she missed feeling like this. Kasumi has her true smile back. Soon she gets out a bunch of goods snacks and opens her little frige with soda's and things like that "So we have food and fun. It does not matter how many people is with me it matters that we have fun." Smiling more as she nods softly.

She sat down as Kausmi suggested and waited while the phone rang, she wondered who might be calling her figuring most of her friends did not care anymore. Then kasumi revealed it was her parents. Aura had never had her parents call, not that they knew she was even alive most likely. Still she ahd no idea parents would even call for such thing's. Heck she had no idea when her own birthday even was or then if her parents were even alive. "I see" she said about them wnating to do somthing with her every year, even if they were humans, it sounded nice.

"Kausmi, this is my sister, Amber" she said introducing her, half the reason she had come was to get Amber to know Kasumi. They could both use the interaction she felt, as both were relatively new to the sanctuary. She had no idea what else the two might have in common. No matter what happened she would do her bets to make sure their night went well.

"We could do that, to be honest i prefer the nigh time myself" she said though she knew for entirely different reasons then these two. She liked the night because their were less people and so the urge to stab them was much less" she said with a smile, knowing Amber would like the suggestion of going after the night came.

She had littile actual experience with games of this type, until a while back she had not even had electricity or a solid roof half the time, but she would try. "I will try" she said considering the counsels Kausmi was pulling out. She wondered what types of Games Kausmi actually had, though even she knew their was a wide range of games one could have on such a system. Waving for AMber to come sit down as well she was curious just where this night would end up, for her freinds sakes she hoped it would end without much killing.

"I'm A-Amber, nice to m-meet you," Amber replied, shyly. "Y-You're spots are pretty." She wasn't really sure if it was considered rude to compliment a mutant on the things that made them look different from everyone else, but what she said was true. Maybe if her own eyes were pretty rather than creepy she might have fewer problems with humans.

"H-happy birthday K-Kasumi. I would l-love to get d-dinner." Amber wasn't sure why the spotted lady preferred to go out after sunset but she was grateful. It had been a hot and sunny day out and that meant she had been cooped up inside pretty much the whole day. She had been looking forward to an opportunity to go outside for a while and dinner would be perfect. Maybe Aura had told her friend that she wasn't good with sunlight and that's why she suggested waiting until after dark. In her experience, not too many people tended to have a nocturnal mindset.

"I l-like video games," Amber stated brightly. At the orphanage she hadn't had the opportunity to play as many as she liked, but had more experience than some. Because she tended to be awake at night rather than during the day, as much as possible anyway, there usually weren't many other children around to compete for the gaming systems.

"H-have you been here l-long Kasumi?" Being friendly and interested were two of the pillars of learning to interact better with people. At least Kasumi didn't seem too intimidating and hopefully with her sister beside her she wouldn't say or do anything to unforgivably stupid.

Kasumi looks at Amber she can not help but to blush as Amber speaks about her spots. Smiling softly "Thank you so much." She has games ranged form RPG's Shooting,fighting games and a few others. She looks to Amber as she shakes her head "Not to long.. Had a bad brake up with a guy and could not say at my old place." She pulls her hair up showing part of what it looks like a black angel wing tattoo on her back. Kasumi has not told anyone about the tattoo that she got. But it is right under her spots. She did not want to cover them up. The black wings where painful but in the end well worth it. She soon looks at Amber and Aura "Would you two like anything to drink?"

She walks getting out a few drinks. She will drink a Dr.Pepper she did not like them for a while. But she has had a craving for them odd. Kasumi looks so bright and happy now. Soon she moves popping in a game that will not be to hard for them Mario party for the Wii. They can all play jump around look silly with out being scared of anything. She smiles to the two of them. Getting things out to nibble on too. She wanted to make there time here fun. Kasumi has always been like that make sure everyone feels at home here "Do not worry Amber be yourself please do not be scared." Giving Amber a soft smile as she sits by Amber turning on the Wii for the fun!
