The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Zeke threw the door to his famaliar room open and stepped inside, ushering Evie inside slowly. He walked to the bed and sat down thoughtfully. Then he stood, and walked over to his case. He opened it up and took out an oderless, yet amazing, drink. It was a specific Scotch that was rare these days... yet in great supply for Zeke. He knew the right people.
He took a quick swallow of the liquid before replacing the drink in it's container and closing it shut, flipping the dial on the front to lock the container with a standard combination. He sighed a little, refreshed by the drink after the fight with the annoying Deathstar. But he wasn't mad... just relieved it was over. He could deal with the problem later, on his agenda.
He turned back to the bed and sat down again, "So... we have to begin preparing for our wedding don't we?" He smiled at his wife-to-be.

Evie stepped into Zeke's bedroom and took a seat next to him on his bed. Then he got up and drank something. Curiousity flooded Evie and she spoke up. "What's that?" She strained her neck to get a better look at it but she had no clue what it was.
When he mentioned wedding plans, she smiled and slipped off her converse (not hightops). With her shoes off, she pulled her feet onto his bed and sat on her knees, apparently excited. She wanted to get married quickly, but she did not know how to plan a wedding, so she looked at him blankly. "I've never planned a wedding or helped plan a wedding. I've never even been to a wedding. But I've seen them on TV...not like that means anything." She added the last bit with a mumble. How could she not have ever been to a wedding? Oh, probably because of her family. "What about...um...I guess food?"

Eldwyn stopped and leaned against the wall next to Zeke's door. He had just seen Evie go in, she didn't fully close the door. He couldn't help but overhear their conversation. 'Wedding? Already? They move fast.' He chuckled to himself a bit. He leaned his head into the room slightly, enough to be heard but not noticed right away, "Ya don't need food for a wedding, that's for the reception. Unless you want rice to be thrown over you as you walk down the isle after you say your vows and kiss." He waited for their reactions befor stepping into the room a bit to lean against the door frame. "Congrats you two." Smiling warmling at the two of them.

"That?" Zeke said pointing to the closed case on the corner table. "It's a drink. Calms my nerves when I get rustled by people like Deathstar. I've been drinking most of my life... in my home growing up we would drink alcahol like water. It was just the culture of my home. It wasn't my real family, but it was all I knew. Now that I'm in America, old habits stay with me." He drew closer to her and drew his arm around her shoulder, squeezing tight.
"Food... yes, we'll need that for the reception." Suddenly, he saw Eldwyn peek his head in. "Hey Nyle... come on in man. Thanks for the congrats..." he smiled back. "You know... I'm in need of a best man... want the job?"
Then turning back to Evie he said, "I say let's keep it simple. Normal vows, a preacher to do the ceremony. I can get one easily... so I'll do that. No music except to walk the aisle of course. Nothing abnormal. We can have the ceremony around 3 P.M. on the first Saturday of next month. Afterwards we can have a reception in the Ballroom. I'll order the food... as I'm doing pretty well with money right now. Then we can go on our honeymoon... any ideas on where to go for that? Also... do you want your parents to come?"

"I'd be honored to be your best man." Smiling as he spoke to Evie, "We just need to find you a bride's maid or 20," He paused for a moment, "Preferably at least one the best man has a chance with." His eyes went wide as well as his mouth, he covered his mouth in mock surprise and shock. "Simple weddings are usually the best." As soon as Zeek asked about her parents, Wyn slid and fell on the floor as his foot gave way. He remembered about her father, not so much her mom though, either way.... "WOAH!!" He said in surprised, even though he did it intentionally to destract from Zeke's last question. He looked at Zeke with a cautionary look hoping he might get it.

"Oh, I see." She replied to Zeke's explanation of his drink. But she was distracted and Evie looked up at Wyn and smiled. "I haven't seen you in a while, how's it been?" Now these were the ones that she truely felt comfortable with. It felt odd being in the danger room, like she didn't know anyone. Then again, she didn't know anyone down there.
"Yeah...reception." She gazed off, dreaming about the wedding before Zeke's calming voice burst through her thoughts with calming grace. "A small wedding would be nice, nothing over the edge." But then he asked about her parents and her gaze immediately lowered to the floor. What should I say? I can't just pop out and tell him! Well, I mean, I love him, I trust him with anything, but I really don't want to talk about my parents. What if I just said no and left it at that. No, he'd ask more questions. I love him, but my parents are just... it might creep him out. Evie's mind was thrown into questions and she wondered how she would tell him.
Wyn, wonderful Wyn. He came to the rescue at the perfect time. When he slid down and exclaimed "WOAH!" Her hands flew over her mouth and she looked at him with concern. "Are you OK? Oh my gosh! Did you hurt yourself? How did that happen?"

Padding himself down real quick he smirked, "Hehe, yeah, I'm fine." He picked himself up, "I musta been leaning a bit too hard on the door, and foot went *Fwoop*." He moved his arm away from him as he spoke. "Might be a bit safer on a chair.." Grabbing a chair he turned it around to sit on it backwards, resting his arms on the back of the chair facing the two. "Back to the subject at hand, there's one thing you have to be really concerned about with your wedding Evie..." Letting his pause last a bit to build a bit of suspence and concern. "Your dress." Smiling a big smile at the girl as he winked.

Zeke chuckled at Wyn's suspence. He loved the man's personality. He found it halarious and enjoyable, and he really loved hanging out with Nyle. "Very nice." He smiled talking to Wyn. "Careful there... don't fall. That wouldn't be good." He decided is was probably time to move on with the wedding plans.
"Yeah, I'll see about the dress in town. We'll get someone to come in and have you fitted for the dress, and then I'll also order the cake and other things for the reception while I'm out. Also the rings, can't forget those." He paused. "I'm excited..." he said letting out a breath.
Evie laughed as he explained how he must have fell, but she asked, just to make sure "You sure you're ok?" Then he began to talk again, creating suspense. Please don't bring up my d- Her thoughts were blocked as he ended the suspense and said 'Your dress'. "Yes, a dress. I have always dreamed about a beautiful white dress. One of my friend's said that she was going to wear her-" She paused as she was about to say 'mother's dress', but she thought better than to not bring up parents "like this dress that she saw in the windows. She'd always talk about how her and her boyfriend were going to get married and that's the dress she wanted, they broke up a week after she said that, though."
Random..."Sorry, that was completely random. Anyways, yes, the reception." She smiled innocently as Zeke stated his excitement for their special day. "I am very excited, too." With that, she gently took his hand in her's and laid her head on his shoulder.

Smiling at the girl, "Yes, I'm sure I'm alright, just a bit of a brused pride." Chuckling at their reactions to his words. 'I love lightening a mood.' He listened to her story, though when she paused for a moment, he looked at her knowingly and gave her a comforting and understanding smile. "Randomness, one of the most entertaining parts of life!"
Suddenly the 'Imperial March' music began to come forth from his pocket as his cell rang. Looking at the two, "What, I love that movie." Reaching into his pocket he pull out the phone and put it on speaker phone, "Yes Ash?"
'Just thought I'd let you know Ms.Henderson is here with your order.'
"Jump back a step, why is she here? I thought it was going to be sent via mail?"
'I got a message from her just a couple of hours ago, she wanted to deliver the items personally to see who she had been working for.'
"Thank you for telling me earlier." The annoyance was clear in his voice, "I'll go down and greet her now I suppose." Hanging up the phone and returning it to his pocket, he stood up. "Sorry about that, I'll be back. When I return I'll be asking your opinion on something."
