The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Mike let the door swing loose after he gave it a gentle shove from the outside in. The room was empty, dark, and looked like something someone would picture for a old man's death scene in a movie. The room had a tint of red to it as the dim light filtered through the scarlet red curtains hanging over the large windows. Mike headed for the curtains the moment he stepped foot into the room, throwing them back to bath himself, Fade, and the room with the brilliant light from the sun outside.
"This place is wonderful." He said aloud more to himself then to his guide. The room was clearly unused and he guessed it still needed some light touches but was livable either way. "Think I could get this one?" He ask Fade his eyes shifting from wall to wall to examine each inch of the room.
"I'm sure that you could. Miss Tipper let me choose my room, I'm sure that she'll do the same for her, but you'd have to talk to her." She smiled, leaning on the side of the doorway. Tours for new people, ah, she got to tour the place herself, and went into places that she was not supposed to be in just to find that just because you go somewhere invisible, doesn't mean that no other mutants could see her. She smirked as she searched her mind for memories.
Mike smiled a little before sitting down on the bed swinging his legs over onto the bed laying there for a minute. "This bed is comfortable." He said before getting up walking toward Fade. "So where to next on our tour miss." He said trying his best to sound like a tourist somewhere.
Mike enjoyed the place and it showed in his eyes and face just how much. He knew he would shortly have to see Miss Tipper so he thought a little more of the tour would help him relax here and allow him to relieve some of his pent up nerves.
"Well, there's the living room, kitchen, playground and I dunno, just alot of places you can go. Anywhere specific you want to see?" She asked, smiling as he laid down on the bed. "I mean, it's pretty free-range, relaxed, oh, but there are some rooms that you don't have any business in, but you'll maybe be able to one day." By this, she meant the danger room and the briefing room, well, all the rooms she wandered into in her first week or so of being at the school.

Mike nodded "Alright, well living room would be nice to see." he said thinking quickly. Of course Mike was curious about what these off limit rooms where but he wouldn't push it his first day at the school. "Kitchen would be a good second bet to, after all I need to know where it is if I want a snack right?" he added with a laugh.
Mike moved off the bed and walked to the door. "So whats Miss Tipper like anyhow?" He ask curiously wondering what the headmistress was like for the first time after hearing that he would need to meet her.
"To the living room." Fade smiled and stepped towards the door. "And then the kitchen, food is always good." She walked out of the doorway and stood beside it, waiting for Mike to follow.
"Oh, Miss Tipper is very nice. She is very compassionate and understanding." This was true, unfortunately, Fade only got to see Miss Tipper on emergency notices and of course, that day that she got drunk and had a terrible hang over, but other than that, Fade didn't know Miss Tipper too well. However, from what she knew, Tricity was a very nice lady and she enjoyed her company for she was understanding and had a great heart and a good head on her shoulders.
