The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

OOC: Ok this is a thread to sorta take a break from the plot and get to make some friends while your at it, just make your entrance and rock your socks man, common teachers let the kids have some fun, no party poopers or me and Ted will go bouncer on you. Party on Geo
IC: Tristan picked up a couch with his giant rock arms and put it up against the wall, walking over to the entrance he grabbed some giant speakers and light and set them in the corners of the room. Tristan hooked all the speakers up to a signal digital control pad and set it up on a stand. Knowing that the teachers were out for the night Tristan took the liberty of setting up a party, well he and Ted were the only ones that new about it but still, Tristan figured people would start the party if they just had some tune's. Tristan finished the wiring and hit a switch, the living room lights shut off and the color lights flipped on, swirling around making a party like mood. Tristan smiled and flipped another switch, a thick techno beat started playing loud, every time it hit a beat the floor seemed to shake. It didn't take long before people to start walking into the living room seeing what was going on. The room was almost full and everyone was standing there awkwardly until the song switched and a light fast rock song started playing, a girl in the crowd screamed. "OH MY GOD, this is my song." and started dancing. Tristan smiled as more people joined in on the dancing, it was like a disease spreading thought the crowd,. The party had officially started.
Ted had helped Tristan set up the party; ever since they had learned that all the teachers would be gone on one night, they had spent a good few hours locked in a room working it all out. Now it was the night, and people were soon flooding into the room. Ted grinned at Tristan, and waved him to the DJ's area. "All yours, dude, you know I know nothing about music." Ted was perfectly happy to leave the music up to the rock boy, as he himself wouldn't know where to begin. Instead he weaved his way onto the dance floor, and danced a little. He then decided that he he too many inhibitions, and weaved his way back off the dance florr, and headed off into the area where there was lots of wires that noone was going to go into. Hidden amongst it all, was a few boxes of many beer bottles that he and Tristan had stashed there. They weren't sure how young some of the people coming to the party would be, so they decided to keep the alcohol to themselves. That was fine by Ted. He grabbed a beer, and weaved back into the party, sipping away innocently.
