The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Michael was smashed through first one wall, pummelled briefly, and then smashed through another. Picking himself up he yelled at the kids to run, which they needed little encouragement in doing. Backing away for a very angry Ted he tried to put some desks between him and the beast, but Ted just destroyed them with huge sweeps of his paws.
Just as Ted lunged Michael dove to the side and Ted slammed into a pile of chairs. While not very painful, it did leave him tangled up in about a dozen chairs. Michael used this opportunity to dart back into the corridor and start to think.
Ok, where’s the best place to fight him. The danger room! If I can get him in there and seal the doors He’ll be trapped with just me, and I can’t be hurt, perfect! With his plan formed Michael set off for the danger room, and by the sound of it Ted wasn’t far behind.

The beast lunged at its prey, but the prey moved and the predator was left tangled in some furniture. With an infuriated roar, it flung its arms outwards and sent bits of wood flying. The predator spun round, but its prey was out of sight. But the scent was nice and clear. It burst into the hallway, and saw the prey disappear around a corner. The beast ran forwards, just turning enough to not go flying past, though it slam into the wall. This went unnoticed though, as, with froth building around its mouth from rage and hunger, it knocked the prey flying upward into the ceiling. It then dropped back though the ceiling and couple of metres forward, just as the beast was about to climb up after it. The mighty predator charged the prey, launching itself at it in an infuriated rage.

Michael had just gotten round the corner when Ted hit him. The blow launched him up through the ceiling. He picked up enough momentum that when he hit the floor several meters away he smashed straight through it and ended up on the ground floor again.
Michael was just back on his feet when Ted lunged. Bracing himself Ted’s massive form hit him. However this time, instead of being knock flying Michael stayed but, with a blast of air emanating from him. He’d done it, he’d become immovable again!
But there was no time to celebrate as he took the opportunity while the beast looked at him in confusion to start running again. Tearing round a corner he ran for some stairs that were heading down.
Wham! The predator shook its muzzle in confusion and annoyance. Not only had the prey still suffered no injuries, but now it even ceased to move! It was completly taken aback, as anything else would have at least buckled under its strength. But this thing was unmoving, and the beast was now annoyed and in pain from the collision. But there was no time to worry about it, as the prey was on the move. The hunt had to continue.
The prey had already rounded a corner, and the predator took off after it. Around the corner, the prey was about to decend into what could be its lair. Not wanting it to escape, the predator caught up with it and smashed it sideways. Again, the prey was sent crashing through a wall as the predator leapt after it.
Michael was so close to the door when he felt himself lifted bodily off the ground. Looking down he saw Ted holding him up above his head. With a grunt Ted flung him over several bookcases. He landed in a reading are on one of the tables, smashing it to bits.
Quickly picking himself up he spotted the hole in the wall and headed straight for it. Skirting quickly around the remnants of bookcases he reached the hole and jumped through. A quick look back into the library revealed a scene of devastation, as Ted had almost completely torn the place apart.
With Ted closing Michael had no time to worry about it no though, and he took off towards the stairs to the lower levels. He was so close to getting Ted safely contained. Spotting a couple of kids sticking their heads out of doors and peering into the corridor he yelled at them to get back. Ted hadn’t hurt anyone yet and he didn’t was a little kid to become a snack for the guy.

The predator chased after the prey, back the way they had come. It could smell the other morsels, but they weren't what it was after. It spotted the prey; stading at the front of a cave that dropped downward. The predator noticed this as it ran at its prey, and it smashed the prey downwards before leaping down the stairs after it.

Michael had just reached the stairs when Ted hit him on the back, hard. He was knocked down the stairs and slammed into the floor. Skidding a good thirty feet down the hallway he finally came to a halt.
Looking up his face broke into a grin. The danger room. Getting to his feet he began to input the code to open the door. His plan would work. Open the door, lure Tec inside, close the door and then he could just lie there while Ted attacked him until Ted changed back.

The predator saw the prey finally stop moving, and took its chance to first of all smash it against the door, and then to grab it by the leg and fling it down the hallway, where it connected with another wall. This wall didn't break though, seeing as how they were underground now and there was only earth on the other side. The predator didn't know this though; nor did it care. It raced after the prey, and stood over it, about to begin pummelling it into the ground.

So close. That was the thought running through Michael’s head as Ted slammed it into the danger room door. Ted then lifted him off the floor and flung him down to the end of the corridor. Slamming into the wall Michael fell to the floor and saw Ted looming over him, paws raised.
Reaching out quickly he grabbed both of Ted’s ankles and heaved. He slid through Ted’s legs and down the corridor towards the danger room. Getting to his feet he sprinted down and input the rest of the code. The door slide open.

Aggrevated that the prey had slipped away yet again, the predator pushed itself off the wall in order to pick up more momentum as it flung itself down the corridor. It reached the prey, and smashed him sideways, into the danger room. It stood in the doorway, and saw that this was the only exit. This time, there was no escape. The beast lunged at the prey, and flung it staight upward with enough strength to hit even the danger room's high ceiling. As the prey fell back down, the predator smashed it before it hit the floor. The prey slammed into a wall, and slid down it. The predator lunged at the prey as the doors slid shut behind it.
