The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

As Geo pulled in to New York he was flooded with memories. It was ironic, he had lived in Ohio for most of his life yet the majority of the major events he had gone through had been here. He passed clubs where he had met life long friends. The street he met up with Ted on the first few days after he left the X-mansion. Even the street where he owned a business. Geo's Auto-Garage. Now it looked out of use, mostly because he hadn't been there in months. This wasn't where he was stopping though so he continued to press against his acceleration peddle and speed past the building. Only a few blocks away was the place that he now called home. The golden doors were a sight for sore eyes, bringing warmth to his heart. Those golden doors meant home.
As he pulled through the doors and up the driveway Geo couldn't help but smile. He knew this place like the back of his hand, ever since he was recruited to The Order this was where he spent most of his time until recently. He had met a man named Abyss when he was taking shelter at a sanctuary for a Resistance against the Registration act. That night they replaced the Statue of Liberty with a stone version made by Geo, ever since that night Geo was hooked on Mutant Supremacy. Killing the engine of his new 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Geo climbed out of the car and took in a deep breath of the sweet air, filled with the familiar scent of the city. He walked to the back of the car and popped open the trunk, retrieving several duffel bags that contained the clothes from his trip.
Geo couldn't help but procrastinate going inside. He stopped once more next to the driver side door, dropped his bags and leaned against the car, retrieving a cigarette from his pocket. As he fed his addiction he examined the building. It had been too long that he was on his road trip and he couldn't wait to see how things had changed. He saw the front door to the building opening and someone stepping out, little did he know exactly how much had changed.
Aura had been busy today, her search for the perfect bone doner had gone poorly, length and brittleness had been the worst issues. They simply would not fit or would break under the weight she needed, with a heavy sigh she proceeded back to sanctuary, back to her home. It was starnge the organization of the order was so different to what she was used to and how she knew to operate, yet things seemed to flow smoothly anyway. The stressed teen threw away the leg bone she had been holding, wiping an aura blade on the wall of the alley despite not really needing to. Aura would not admit it, but she was worried about herself, her own health she was becomming dangerous mentally.
Despite this Aura had determined that her most valuable position was still at the order, much had changed with it, but they were still here. Still she had began the planning of heading north, heading to the first home she recalled, the woods. Maybe there she could find the answers she needed to calm her mind and let her progress. Looking upon the golden doors, Aura watched a car pull into the garage, she did not recall it, but then a car was a car to her and other then color and weather or not it was a truck or car. Walking up the driveway, Aura took a quick look around her, she was fairly sure no cop would be dumb enough to attack her here, but they were getting braver, certainly with the x-men seemingly working with them.
She had only seen the man once, maybe twice, but she knew Geo the moment she saw him, he had seemed to dissopear to her before, not that, that was uncommon in the order, just the opposite actually, it was two common. "been awhile old friend" she said walking into the garage. The girls messy brown hair followed her resting against the black tank top that hugged her body. So much had happoned since she last saw Geo, in fact he ahd been one of the people she had hoped would have shown up at KP, it would have been helpful. "Staying awhile?" she asked curiously, simply trying to make small talk, as she wiped a bit of blood from her brow and licked it from her finger, humans could be so messy.
Deep in thought, Geo didn't notice that the young mutant had approached him. His mind ran through what had been going on at the sanctuary when he left. He would have a lot to get caught up on after being on the road for three months. It was only when the girl spoke that Geo noticed her. Turning to see her a smile formed on Geo's face. Taking a drag of his cigarette Geo pushed off the car and walked towards his fellow Order member.
"Hey Aura." He said happily, it was nice to see a familiar face again. Geo hadn't known Aura that well but they had crossed paths several times. When they had first met Geo had actually taught her how to play pool. It was a wonder to him that someone actually didn't know how to play. She asked him if he planned on staying for a while and he chuckled slightly.
"Well that's the plan." He looked back up at the building he called home. "I got everything settled that needed to be." Taking a last drag of his cigarette Geo dropped it to ground and rubbed it out with his foot.
"So How have you been?" He asked before jabbing his thumb in the direction of the Sanctuary. "Things couldn't have been too interesting around here without me around." He joked with a smile on his face, a bit of the old Geo shining through.
Aura was glad to here Geo was going to stay for awhile. She likes him and though she had never actually gotten the hang of pool, she now knew the basics of it. Aura wonderd if she could make a pool stick with her hand, not a full size one of course, but maybe if she used that to play she could do better.Breaking out of her trance she smiled as he said things could not be to intresting, she knew it was a joke, but the fake smile faded a few secound slater.
"Well On the bright side, i did find a kitty, i...i mean a skunk i guess, people keep telling me their different but, i just don't see it" she said with a shrug trying to find a good topic to start talking about. "FOund her at a zoo raid one day" she said recalling the night intently. It had been an extreamly interesting day. "I also ended up with a parrot somehow" she said still unsure of the new pet, she really had not done more then feed and water it though so maybe that was why.
Growing more serious Aura began on the real topic of her choice. "Likely to be more interesting actually, have you heard, Syn died" she said looking away from him as she mentioned it, still blaming herself for what happened, despite having been nowhare close to the the scene. "We fought the X-men at the KP building, but we were to few to hold them. Lori now leads us and i have to admit the Order has bene more vigorous" she said trying to explain the only major thing she could think of.
Geo couldn't help but chuckle as Aura stated she had a pet skunk. He was sure that all the residence in the rooms near her must be happy about it. He had forgotten that Aura had her social quirks. "Get a few more animals and you'll have your own personal zoo going." He said through his smile which was short lived.
Syn was dead? No, no that was impossible. The woman he had looked up to for the past year couldn't possibly be dead. Syn had always seemed so collected and indestructible. The thought of her dying was hard to digest. With a blank expression Geo lowered himself down to sit on his bumper. 'Syn's dead..." He mumbled to himself and ran his hand through his hair. A nervous habit.
When he was told who was in charge now Geo exclaimed uncontrollably. "What?!" He took a moment to collect himself and repeated in a calmer tone. "What? What happened to Abyss? I thought he would take over." The thought was weird. The last he had seen Lori was when he brought her in. How could Abyss not take charge? "I brought Lori to the Sanctuary personally. How could she be in control?" The thought of the blond woman sitting on Syn's throne didn't sit right with him.
"AByss accepted her as the leader, he never mentioned why he did not wnat the lead, but during a meeting isable held, lori's ideas ended up dominating the table. Abyss accepted her and since Abyss adopted me, i followed suit. Though i did not like Lori's plan at first, her orders were still orders and i learned a new way to terrorize the human scum" she said trying to draw away from the talk of Syn the failure what the young teen had personalized into her failure alone, still hurt her incide, she had barely known the woman but that was besides the point, she was in command and thus worth far more then her own life.
?"I knew nothing of Lori before the take over but Isabel and Abyss accepted it. But that is not the point, she is my Leader now and her orders are what matter. People we care about die and it is always sad, but i bleive in making the humans pay that price a hundred fold. Still it would be less painful if that man had not betrayed us, Seizure and the X-men were in the building and one of them is likely the killer though i do not know who, still it was Seizure who destroyed what we were guarding at KP." she said trying to give the obviously bothered order member more info, a way of acepting their new leader and moving on with them.
"Hard news i know my friend, but better to hear it now, then from another" she said still trying to comfort him. SHe was not really talented at this. maybe she had grown to use to people dieing it had taken some time for syns death to really hit her. "The news was not easy for me in fact i have taken it as a personal failure. "Did you know syn well, i barely even met her" she commented softly finnaly saying what wa son her mind, Aura was fining it hard to be direct ont he topic, the pain in her heart already burning.
