The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Michael stepped out of the taxi and paid the driver before turning to face the mansion. So this is the place where he could enjoy his mutation without having to hide it. He couldn’t wait to try out sports, contact sports. They looked so much fun, and he hoped that he could play them here.
Looking around for some sort of door bell he failed to find one and so resorted to calling out. “Umm… Hello?”
"Miss Tipp, there's a guy at the gate. He's calling out on the grounds... rather funny, actually," Johnathon said into the radio as he watched the guest looking around.
Tricity picked up the radio, making her way toward the front doors. "Well, why don't you use the intercom and tell him I'm coming. Don't be a jerk about it..."
"I would never!" he said sarcastically and ended the transmission.
Tricity hooked the radio back onto her hip and opened the doors to greet the newcomer. She could see it was a young man who was probably in his late teens. Mentally opening the gates, Tricity gave a smile and a wave. "Hello, my name is Delilah, Tricity, or Miss Tipper. Whatever you like. How can I help you?"

Michael decided that the formal name was probably the best choice. “Hi Miss Tipper, my parents sent me here seeing as my mutation was recently reveal back home and they worried that I might get in trouble over it.”
He walked into the grounds, holding his bag over one shoulder. “They heard that this was a place where mutants could come and just be themselves, so thought that here would be a good place for me.” He smiled sheepishly, thinking that he now sounded like a momma’s boy.
Tricity nodded as he spoke. "Ok, you must be Michael Chase then. Your parents called me earlier in the week. Can you tell me about your mutation? I need to make sure that you aren't a danger to anyone else or yourself." She pushed open the doors to the mansion and propped them open, letting Michael in. She grabbed a newcomer's packet and handed it to him before stepping into the hallway.
Michael followed Miss Tipper into the mansion and too the offered packet. He grinned when she asked if his mutation was dangerous. “The opposite I think. As far as I know I’m invincible. I’ve been shot, stabbed, hit buy a car, hit by a lorry, none of them hurting me in the slightest.”
He paused as he remembered the lorry. “There’s something else as well, when I was hit by the lorry instead of being sent flying like when I was hit by the car. I stayed perfectly still, the lorry kind of crumpled around me. It’s never happened before or since.” Shrugging he pulled out the map to try and get an idea of the place.
"Wow, that's quite a gift you have then," she said pointing down the hallway and upstairs. "You can grab a room upstairs to yourself. The kitchen is down here and is open whenever you like, though we do have breakfast, lunch, and dinner or course. If you'd like to learn more about your mutation, we have a simulatiom room called the Danger Room. You should have a veteran of the house escort you some time because we like to have a partner when we practice to ensure safety. Do you have anymore questions?" she asked, running her hand through her hair.

Michael paused for a moment to think before shaking his head. “No, I think that’s everything for now. Thanks for the welcome, I think I’ll go and explore for a bit.” Smiling his good bye he set off to have a look around the mansion.
The danger room in particular intrigued him, as he could really give his powers a whirl. However, finding an old student or a teacher might be a good idea, and maybe they could help him become immovable again.
