The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tarin was getting better every day. He was still weak, that was for sure, but he was doing well. He was even able to get up and move around the infirmary a bit, and go for short walks.
Which had Tarin complaining again, now that he was actually moving around, he wanted actual clothing to wear, not just pyjama pants and t-shirts. He wanted his jeans and stuff.
So when Tarin was going to have a bit of a nap, Lee agreed to head back to the apartment to grab some more clothing for him, as well as a couple of things for herself.
This trip took a bit longer than normal, Lee was being a bit more picky about what she was grabbing for Tarin than she had been for herself. Finally though, Lee made it back to the mansion and headed back down to the infirmary with her backpack.
Only to have her heart jump up into her throat as soon as she stepped through the door when she saw that Tarin's bed was empty.
It's ok, he's probably just in the bathroom, Lee told herself, trying to stave off the panic. This was why she didn't like leaving, she had no clue what she was going to be coming back to.
Reaching the bed mere moments later, Lee found a note sitting on the pillow. Picking it up, Lee looked at it. "I have escaped the evil clutches of the infirmary staff. Rendezvou in your room asap...will be waiting" Shaking her head, a huge smile spreading across her face, Lee turned and made her way out of the infirmary, the note still in her hand. There was no way that she was going to leave it for DocProf to read. She was going to have to give Tarin a talking to for possibly going too far, but that'd be after. A month was a long time.
It really didn't take long for Lee to get upstairs, and to her room right by the elevator. Turning the handle, Lee opened the door and stepped in, then stopped short, blinking in surprise.

With as clingy as Lee had gotten, planning this surprise had been nearly impossible, but Tarin had somehow persevered, except for the clothes. For this surprise, Tarin was stuck with sweats and a white t-shirt he'd usually wear under his normal clothes. Not the usual clothing he'd have chosen to seduce his wife...but hey, one worked with what they had, and Tarin felt like he'd done a pretty good job.
Shin had been a life saver, Tarin still couldn't move around the mansion for hours at a time and in the brief moments when Shin had been there and Lee had not, Tarin had managed to convince the kid to help him set up this little surprise for Lee. That kid really was something else. One that Tarin had definitely been glad to have around Lee while he was out.
Tarin checked his watch, then looked over at the little dinner spread he had laid out on the little table in Lee's room in the mansion. There was mostly fruit...they'd eaten a big lunch and Tarin was still on a pretty bland diet. The fruit was there though, and some peanut butter and jelly, and a few other odds and ends that would constitute a cute little dinner. There were also candles, lots of candles and they were the only things lighting the room. Tarin had always loved candlelight. The way it flickered made everything seem so romantic.
Tarin checked the clock next to the bed, Lee had to be getting back to the mansion soon. All she'd gone to get was some clothes for him, since he was sick of being stuck in pajamas. Then she'd have to walk to the infirmary, find the note, walk back upstairs and open the door, assuming the Doc didn't find it first and come running up to drag him back to the infirmary kicking and screaming. That, and only that, was the reason Lee wasn't going to walk into a room containing her fully undressed husband. Just in case. Though the doc would deserve it if it came down to that.
The door handle jiggled and Tarin nearly squirmed with excitement as it swung open to reveal Lee. A very surprised looking Lee. Tarin rose and strode confidently to the door to take her hand and kiss the back of it. "I'm glad to see you made it." he said, pulling on that hand to bring Lee fully into the room before firmly shutting the door and locking it, not bothering to move Lee and effectively pinning her between it and him.
Lee still hadn't taken back to wearing her heels, so Tarin was tall enough, even in bare feet, to brace his hands on either side of her head and look down into her face, "I had dinner brought up." He said with a grin, then dropped his head to kiss his wife. "Are you hungry?"
The door opened to reveal her darkened room, lit with the flickering light from a lot of candles. That was definitely odd, Lee knew that she hadn't had even a single candle in her room that morning. But as well as the candles, there was something else there in her room that hadn't been there when she had left that morning.
Her husband.
Once the door was open, Lee saw Tarin moving toward her, a grin on his face, and she couldn't help but smile in return. Seeing him up and moving and out of the infirmary, it was an amazing sight.
Before she knew it, Tarin was grabbing her hand and kissing the back of it, just like he did when he was really turning the charm on for her. Then he was pulling her into the room by that hand and...
Suddenly she found herself pinned against the now closed door. For a man who had been bed ridden for a month, Tarin was now doing quite a bit here.
Her backpack sliding down her arm and landing on the floor, Lee looked up into her husbands eyes. That's all Lee needed, she knew that this was about far more than simply dinner. Normally when Tarin pulled something like this, he wasn't wearing sweats, he was normally dressed up like a cowboy, and his hat would have been tipped up a bit as he was leaning over her like this.
But that didn't matter to Lee. Sure, the cowboy had would have been a really nice touch, but this was the first time that Tarin had looked at her like that where they might actually be able to do something about it.
Lee's arms reached up and wrapped around Tarin's neck, helping to close the distance between them so that she could kiss him. "I'm a little peckish," Lee admitted as she looked up at Tarin after the kiss ended. Though to be perfectly honest, she couldn't care less about dinner at that point, not with the candles and Tarin standing there so very close to her.

They were alone. For the first time in over a month, Tarin was alone with Lee and it didn’t look like anyone was going to bother them any time soon. It was almost weird how much the anticipation was building up inside of him. There had been lots of times when they’d gone for more than a month without being together, but this was about so much more than sex. There had been times over the past weeks when Tarin had thought he would never be able to do this again. It made it different, at least for him, almost like the first time all over again.
Lee dropped whatever it was she’d been carrying and then her arms were coming up, wrapping around his neck. That action brought her body up against his and Tarin suddenly remembered what a lucky man he was. Lee was so small, he thought as his hands moved from the door and to Lee’s sides, sliding down until they settled on her hips. It was really amazing how strong she could be with such a little frame. She kissed him and Tarin practically melted against her, pressing back against the door. Then she said she was…peckish? Tarin pulled back, confused for a second because he didn’t remember even asking a question for Lee to respond to. All he’d been thinking of was the fact that there was way too much clothing between him and Lee.
Oh, right. He’d asked her if she was hungry. “I hope that doesn’t mean you’re starving…” he said, hands slipping under the hem of Lee’s shirt and onto the skin of her stomach underneath, “Because I’d be lying through my teeth if I said I was thinking about anything that had to do with food right now.”
Tarin looked confused when she said that she was a bit peckish. Her arms around his neck couldn't be that distracting, could they?
But then Lee felt Tarin's hands sliding down onto her hips, his body leaning into her, pressing her against the door. And Tarin was saying something, but it took a couple moments longer than normal for it to click in and make sense.
Ok, maybe her arms around his neck could be that distracting.
"No, definitely not starving," Lee said, shaking her head as she felt Tarin's hands moving, sliding from her hips and up slightly, onto her stomach, his fingers slipping under the hem of her shirt. Lee couldn't help it, it was involuntary, automatic: Lee shivered.
Then Lee heard what else Tarin had to say, about how he'd be lying, and she grinned up at him for a moment before stretching up to kiss him. It really was kind of weird how far she had to reach to do that when she wasn't wearing heels.
"Good," was all Lee said right then after pulling back just far enough so that she was able to say the word. "Food can wait." With a wicked smile, Lee closed one hand in Tarin's hair and pulled him back down for another kiss.

Tarin was shaking, physically shaking as he actually took a second to look at Lee. She’d taken to wearing her normal clothes again, and it was almost too much. Was it weird for a man to feel weak in the knees? Tarin didn’t think so if he was in the room with Lee. That simple white t-shirt paired with that skirt was almost a study in exactly what Tarin thought was hot and he wondered for a moment if she’d done it on purpose. It didn’t occur to him that Lee hadn’t known what he was planning, but it didn’t matter.
His thumbs were travelling up her stomach now, his fingers trailing up Lee’s ribs and he didn’t miss the shiver that ran through her. Tarin swallowed hard, Lee wasn’t hungry but he was starving. Again, the hunger didn’t have anything to do with food. Years and years of one night stand after one night stand and it was Lee that had made him realize how one woman every day could be enough. She was perfect, made for him and it was demonstrated over and over. Not just when they were like this, always.
Lee was of a like mind…her word hadn’t meant she wanted to eat dinner before anything else happened, and then her hand closed in his hair. Tarin had been coiled tightly as a spring before, trying to hold back, just in case Lee wanted dinner. The confirmation that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her snapped his restraint and Tarin kissed Lee fiercely, intensely, all the feelings from the last month pouring into that kiss. That wasn’t all though, suddenly, he couldn’t get close enough to her. His hands left her torso to tangle in Lee’s hair and he held her head to his as they stood. He was still shaking.
“Now…” he said against her lips, impatient hands starting to tug at Lee’s shirt as he moved them away from the door and backwards blindly towards the bed in her room. He wouldn’t have wasted the time moving…but he had only woken up from a month long coma 4 days ago. There was a difference between want and need…and there would be time to play later. Right now he needed his wife.
Tarin's hands didn't stop there on her stomach. His thumbs were running across the skin on her stomach, his fingers on the other hand were moving further up, sliding along her ribs under her shirt. She could feel as each one of his fingers gently pressed against each one of her ribs as they slowly moved upward, and she shivered again. She was so close, his hands right against her, so Lee felt Tarin's body shaking.
It was almost too much, Lee's breath was already quickened, almost heavy, as they stood there. They'd spent the last month not even really touching because Tarin had been unconscious, in a coma. And now this. It was too much, but Lee couldn't stop, didn't want to stop. She needed this, needed Tarin.
It was already too much, but the moment that Lee's hand clenched in Tarin's hair as she kissed him, she felt something different, felt the change in Tarin.
And it was absolutely amazing.
Lee was lost in the kiss, one hand in Tarin's hair, the other wrapping around his shoulders holding him tightly to her as she felt him pressing her against the door, his hands in her hair.
And then he was moving away, pulling her with him further into the room. Just because they were moving didn't mean that Lee was going to let them be done with the kissing, though. So she took that extra half step as they went, bringing her right up against Tarin's body, and pulled him down to her with her grip that was still in his hair even as she felt her shirt being tugged.
The room wasn't very large, though, so it really didn't take very long of that short stepping, kissing walk before they reached the bed. But because neither of them were really paying much attention to where they were going at that point, they ended up falling onto it, Lee falling onto Tarin, in a tangle of arms and lips onces they reached it.

*fade to light*
The bed was definitely worse for wear. At some point the sheets had been pulled halfway off, pillows had been strewn from here to there and the mattress had been shifted from straight to dangling part of the way off the box springs. Somehow though, there were still two people in it. Tarin wasn't even tired.
Well, that was a lie. His usual euphoric lethargy was trying to set in, but Tarin was only getting started on this night if it killed him. After what had just probably been the most amazing sexual experience of his adult life, he wasn't going to pass out in a sated stupor.
Lee was gorgeous, and he'd finally managed to get all of her clothes off...coincidentally that made her even more gorgeous...and there was her back. The sheets were draped becomingly just below the dip of her spine and Tarin stared at that for a few moments before maneuvering himself so he was next to her, leaning over to kiss her, much more sweetly than a few minutes before. "You're amazing...." he said with certainty.
Tarin, the man that had somehow become her husband, something Lee had never thought would be possible for her, he was incredible. And that had been totally. Absolutely. Amazing.
Currently, Lee was laying on the bed on her stomach, her arms folded under her head since the pillows were, well, not there. At some point, the sheet had been pulled partially over her, but the blanket that was normally on top of that was no where to be found at the moment. And there clothes...well it wasn't exactly unusual that they were going to have to search to find their clothing when they finally decided to get up.
And as she laid there, Lee was...actually, Lee wasn't entirely sure how she was. Other than absolutely fantastic. She had more energy than she had had in over a month, and yet all she wanted to do at that moment was lay there beside Tarin. She felt extremely relaxed, and yet still tense and excited.
Feeling Tarin moving on the bed, Lee glanced over, her head still resting on her arms. And then felt his lips on hers.
It was a much different kiss than any they had shared since she had stepped into the room, different even than the first kiss. Sweet, loving, just as incredible a kiss in its own way.
"You're amazing...."
Lee blushed slightly, finally lifting her head to look at Tarin. "So are you," Lee replied softly. "This, all of this...I didn't think...." Lee settled for leaning over and giving Tarin another kiss rather than trying to figure out words. It was so much easier, and so much more enjoyable that way.
"But how are you feeling, hon?" Lee went on to ask after the kiss ended, lifting one hand off the bed to run through Tarin's hair. "Think it's about time for a bit of food?"

Lee kissed him back, of course Lee kissed him back…as happy as she’d been a few minutes ago, Tarin would have been worried if she didn’t kiss him back now. A slightly smug grin crossed his features as he looked over and Lee and wondered what those idiots who thought marriage ruined sex were smoking that made them delusional. Marriage added comfort…comfort added adventurism…adventurism added…yum. That’s pretty much all there was to it. Marriage rocked. Yup.
"So are you. This, all of this...I didn't think....”
Tarin grinned again, smug again. “I told you that I was fine.” He said, returning Lee’s kiss and lingering there with his lips pressed against hers. Then he pulled away and thought for a moment, “I’ve been thinking about this since that day we took the nap. I wasn’t really sleeping you know. It was just so great to touch you after all that time. Every single thing has felt so different. It’s like I’d never really seen you before…never touched you, or felt what it’s like when you touch me.” Tarin paused for a moment and really thought about it, “Perspective.” He whispered, turning to look at Lee while he spoke, to look right at her as one hand dropped between Lee’s shoulder blades, fingertips trailing down her back.
Lee asked how he was feeling. Was this how it was going to be again? Lee worried about his health every time they took a tumble between the sheets. Tarin smiled though, he’d take it. As long as the tumbles between the sheets didn’t end. “I feel more amazing than I have any right to feel right now. In fact…I feel so amazing, that I want to feel amazing over…” he kissed Lee, “and over…” he kissed her again, more soundly, fingers still tracing up and down her back, “and over.” The longest kiss yet.
Lee was asking about food again, that had to mean she was hungry. Tarin pulled himself together. The door was locked…even if Doc managed to figure out where he’d gone, it’d take them a while to break down the door. There was time to eat.
“Food could be good.” Tarin said, climbing from the bed, slowly to appease Lee, completely forgoing the sheets, Lee was already intimately familiar with everything she was seeing anyway. Back he came with the tray and sat it down on the bed, moving to lay back on his stomach next to Lee again, “We’ve got strawberries and whipped cream…” he said with a grin, then took one and took a bite, then double dipped it in the whipped cream and held it out for Lee, “Want a bite? Or are you wanting to dig into the chocolate sauce or the PB&J?”
Tarin was ginning at her, Lee saw. Not just smiling at her, but grinning in that way he had of grinning at her. When he was not only happy, but also proud of himself, almost gloating about something.
But then again, after what had just happened, maybe he had reason...
He'd been thinking about this, this since that day they'd taken the nap there in his hospital bed? Only he hadn't been sleeping, she'd been the only one asleep at the time. Which was strange, because normally if only one of them slept, it was Tarin, not her. A lot of times she had too much energy to be able to sleep when she'd been around him.
Lee almost wanted to roll her eyes at him, tell him he should have been sleeping that day, that he needed that rest, but he went on. His voice was soft in the silence of the room, he was looking right at her, and the words he was sayin...Lee blushed slightly, then shivered as she felt Tarin's fingers starting to trail up and down her bare back.
She always had thought it felt amazing when he touched her, though, when he let her touch him. Then again, she knew that it felt different for her than everyone else because of her powers. The simple fact that someone was actually willing to let her touch them, never mind how long and frequently Tarin practically demanded she did some days, simply added to everything. Simply holding hands, to Lee, was hugely significant. And that was nothing to how what they'd just done had felt.
Nothing to how Tarin's hand, still lightly brushing along her back, felt. The slight tickling, the feel of the energy sliding into her through that light touch, the simple intimacy of it all...Lee couldn't think of a word to describe just how great and amazing even just that felt to her.
Is that what Tarin was talking about?
That wasn't the end of it, though. Tarin continued to speak, telling her how he was feeling, and Lee's blush intensified even as she was shaking her head at him. She should expect stuff like that to come out of his mouth by now, she really should, and yet it shocked her each and every time. Or maybe it was because for some reason she didn't think he could want her that much with what her powers did to him.
"Over, and over, and over again?" Lee questioned, the blush not faded from her cheeks yet.
And, though she had asked about food, though she was definitely starting to get hungry by this point in time, that didn't mean she had wanted Tarin to get up. But up he got, and Lee watched him somewhat sadly, though quite intently, as he walked across the room to where he had a tray of food sitting. But a moment later, Tarin was returning, tray in hand, to the bed, where he set the tray down and returned to his spot laying beside her.
She really should have been the one to get the tray, though, Lee thought as she watched Tarin take a bite from a strawberry. A strawberry covered in whipped cream...They hadn't had whipped cream since...Well, they had had whipped cream a number of times, but not planned as a meal like this...
Wait, what had she been thinking about? Blinking, Lee looked away from the bowl of whipped cream as she heard Tarin speaking. Did she want a bite? Did Tarin really just ask her that?
Rather than answer his question verbally, Lee leaned forward until she could reach the strawberry. Then she closed her lips around it and all it's fruity goodness, carefully biting off her share of the strawberry while still leaving enough there for Tarin to be holding. And if her lips brushed against Tarin's fingers as she did that, well, he did take a rather large first bite from the strawberry, which didn't exactly leave her a lot there.

Apparently, Lee wasn’t in the mood to chat. Her vocalizations had completely stopped once she’d commented about grabbing something to eat. She didn’t even talk when he came back with the food. Sure, it was a less than stellar meal, and sure, the food wasn’t exactly on the National Institute of Health’s 10 most healthy foods for a balanced diet, but hey, it was food. For someone who hadn’t been able to get out of bed to pee 2 days ago, Tarin thought he’d done pretty well. Of course, Shin had done most of the legwork, but Tarin had been the mastermind of the whole plan.
There was totally something to be said about the mansion. Having access to all kinds of food at all hours of the day, having a room so close to the infirmary. Having a room. With a bed. The room even had its own bathroom. With a shower. Tarin filed that knowledge away for later so he didn’t forget and went back to the situation at hand. Strawberries and all other manner of yumminess within arms reach.
Lee was blushing becomingly with each of his comments and Tarin grinned again from ear to ear, “You know, your face isn’t the only place you blush…” he said, turning his eyes to watch the rosy color spreading down her back, tracing its path with his fingers again.
He was holding that strawberry out, only half expecting Lee to take the bite he was offering, but apparently she was in the mood for fruit. Um, if she expected to do much more eating she was going to have to feed herself because the way she’d taken that bite of strawberry made Tarin want to ruin their bedroom picnic in favor of tossing all the food on the floor to make more room on the bed. Or maybe he could just leave it there…
“For the love of God Lee…” he settled on saying, talking almost through clenched teeth, goose bumps still raising on his arms from the way her lips had brushed his fingertips, “For someone professing to be hungry…you sure are doing everything in your power to make sure you don’t get anything to eat.”
Running his hand through his hair to try and pull himself back into a somewhat appropriate frame of mind, Tarin smiled at Lee and took another strawberry. Screw Jello. As nice as it had been for Lee to make it for him, real food was so much better…and strawberries weren’t that rich. The peanut butter and jelly, maybe, the chocolate, definitely…but there couldn’t be too much harm in a few strawberries, and maybe some of the grapes.
“So.” Tarin said, more interested in touching Lee than the food, “I hope you didn’t have any other plans tonight, because I’m pretty sure I’m going to stay in this room with you until they break the door down to drag me back to the infirmary.”
Hearing Tarin comment on her blush, Lee was pretty sure that he'd made comments like that before, in a situation very similar to the one they currently found themselves in. And while she probably had heard it before, that comment was just too much; Lee blushed even deeper. Something that certainly was not heelped by how Tarin's hand kept running up and down her back.
At least it was a fair trade and she was able to affect him just as much as he was affecting her. And hearing him vocalize that effect, all Lee could do was grin. Grin as she licked a spot of whipped cream off her lip.
"Who said I was hungry?" Lee asked even as she reached for another stawberry. "I was thinking more about you, cause I know I've got enough energy." As she spoke, Lee was dipping the strawberry into the chocolate sauce. Then she raised an eyebrow as she looked over at Tarin, slowly lifting the now chocolate covered strawberry to her lips. "So really, as long as it's beneficial to you..."
Now that she had finished talking, Lee let her lips close around the strawberry. The taste of the fruit mixed with the chocolate was incredible, almost as good as Tarin's fingers on her skin or his lips. They were really going to have to start keeping strawberries in the apartment; she had forgotten just how good they were.
Chewing slowly, Lee watched Tarin as he started speaking again. Asking if she had had any plans for the night. Right, like she had had any plans for the last month that hadn't involved sitting at hs bedside.
But instead of just telling him that, Lee made a show of looking at the clock, then rolled over onto her side, her head propped up on her hand, as she looked back at Tarin.
"Well, I did have a date with this really hot guy," she told him in a slightly teasing tone. "But I'm already late, so I guess I could just spend the night here."

Lee’s tongue came out from between her lips to get rid of a little spot of whipped cream that had somehow managed to escape her mouth when she bit the strawberry and Tarin couldn’t help the shiver that ran through him. She was doing it on purpose, she had to be. Lee spoke and Tarin looked at her, intensity sparking in his brown eyes, “The way you’re attacking those strawberries, it looks like you’re hungry.” He said as she took another and dipped it in the chocolate.
Tarin watched as a drop of the chocolate clung to the bottom of the strawberry and he wondered a little less than idly if that little drop was going to fall…and more importantly where it was going to fall. Lee pointed out that she wasn’t really that hungry, she was just worried about him and a wicked smile graced Tarin’s features as he shook his head. “The only thing that I need right now is you Lee. I think my apatite shrunk considerably...”
Yup, she was definitely doing it on purpose, Tarin thought as Lee finished off that strawberry then made a show of looking back at the clock after he asked if she’d had any other plans for the night. Her words made an eyebrow raise, though and her shift in position nearly made his jaw drop. Did she know the view she’d just given him by propping herself up like that. His hand on her back was now half on her side and half on her stomach, nope, he wasn’t hungry at all.
Reaction was almost instinctual, and almost before Lee had finished speaking Tarin had moved, one hand on her shoulder, pushing her back as he rolled her to her back and grabbed her wrists, effectively pinning her down. Tarin knew very well that Lee wouldn’t have to try hard to move him, the amount of energy she had right now would make it easier than it had any right to be. It was kind of hot though, when he thought about it.
Looking down at Lee from his now, higher vantage point as he kept her wrists secured in his hands, Tarin raised an eyebrow at her, “Some hot guy?” he said, dipping his head to nibble that little spot right under Lee’s ear, “You’re right. He’s SOL…’cause you’re not going anywhere.” That said, he kissed Lee deeply and thoroughly, suddenly realizing that he was pinning his wife down and neither of them were wearing clothes.
Pulling away, Tarin cast a look over Lee’s shoulder at the tray that was now precariously dangling halfway off the bed, “Now about those strawberries….”
Attacking the strawberries? Lee almost rolled her eyes at Tarin, but instead simply shrugged. She'd only had one and a half strawberries. How could that be considered 'attacking' them?
According to Tarin, though, the only thing he needed right then was her. Lee knew that wasn't true; they both needed air, and eventually they would need food, but she understood what he meant. It was the look in his eyes that time that made her blush, not simply his words. There was definitely a lot of that, a lot of blushing going on, despite what had happened in that room not much earlier, wasn't there?
It didn't take long, not long at all, after she had shifted position and made her comment about having had plans for a date that night. Actually, she hadn't even fully finished speaking when she felt Tarin's hand moving, touching her shoulder, and pushing her backward onto the bed. Followed by the feeling of her wrists being grabbed and placed above her head on the bed.
Lee giggled slightly as she looked up into Tarin's eyes. She couldn't help it. She knew that she could break free if she wanted to almost without even trying. Tarin had to know that too, had to know that because of how much they had been touching, for so long that evening, and that wasn't even taking into account how much weaker than normal his own muscles still had to be.
But that was the key: if she wanted to break free. The fact of the matter was, with Tarin's hands pinning her arms to the bed above her head, she didn't want to, and so while she did fight it, she made sure to keep her struggling very minimal.
“Some hot guy?” She heard, and was about to nod her head knowingly when Tarin leaned down and started nibbling on her neck. But not just on her neck, on that little spot right below her ear...
The nod of her head died and in its place a small shudder ran through her body. She didn't have a chance to actually say anything before Tarin's lips were being pressed against hers.
By the time that Tarin pulled away, Lee was breathing heavily, her heart was pounding. And nothing other than kissing had happened yet. Well, nothing other than Tarin pinning her to the bed, kissing her. Then he was asking about strawberries, of all things.
"What strawberries?" Lee asked. She was done playing weak, though. If Tarin claimed he wasn't really hungry, and kissed her like that, she was not about to let him get away with that. Not with everything he'd been saying and doing.
Glaring at Tarin slightly, Lee moved, pushing her off of him and rolling over on the bed, taking her turn to pin him. "What strawberries?" Lee asked again before leaning down to kiss her husband.
