It had been almost a week now sense Specter had woken up on at the gate to the school with no memory of his past. The first couple of days had been the most intresting. During that time he had gotten use to calling this place his home and had meet some very intresting people around town. However inside the mansion Specter was still the outcast. So many people where running around ether getting ready for the new school year, or making repairs due to the after math of the registration act that Specter's arrivel had gone mostly unnoticed. Despite this fact he was getting more use to being there every day. Specter no longer walked down the halls, but floated with his telekentic powers. Occasionally he would see Katrina playing around the grounds. He had even noticed the girl he had met at the coffee shop that one time. However Specter hadn't spoken to ether of them. Instead he had stacked claim to a table at the libary spending most of his day reading up on things that had happened in his lost past. Even now books floated around Specter's head as a pencil glided over a piece of paper taking notes unguided by a human hand. He found the history of the school fasinating. The struggle his fellow mutants went through on what seemed to be nearly a daily baises had become an almost welcome companion during those long nights Specter had lost sleep over nightmares he could never remeber. Even Specters english was beganing to improve as he watched, and copied news reports he found while searching the net. All the things Marcus had forgotten, viruses, kidnappings, registration camps, it was as if a war was happening right here in the city. More over it seemed the mutants themselves where split about which side they where on. Over and over he came across reports of a group of mutants called the X-men. Of course the news reports he found had done a horrible job of explaining anything more about the group than what they had done in the current battle. Specter even found one newspaper called the Daily Bugle that seemed to go out of it's way to bash anyone with superpower, but it seemd that paper was more concerned with some joker called Spider-man than with mutants. Specter had only seen Neena once sence their first meeting. She had come into the library looking for something, and was to busy to give Specter a chance to ask her any question. He did however have alot of questions to ask. Well it had only been a week Specter still had plenty of time. It wasn't like he would be going anywhere any time soon.
