The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The pair of XSP high altitude aircraft took off from Wolf Airstrip with their unique payload and began to climb. They had been designed specifically for this task. Reaching forty thousand feet the pair leveled off as an air tanker moved in and supplied both with their fuel for the next stage.
With the new fuel the aircraft engaged their second engines and began climbing once again. The forces on the pilots were extreme, but they had been well trained and were ready. Finally they left the atmosphere and entered low orbit at just over seventy four miles.
Their cargo bay doors opened with and the air was sucked out. Several figures in specialised suits tumbled out the back and plumeted towards the planet's surface. The suits kept them warm and free of ice as they fell, and the mask allowed them to breath in the thin atmosphere. A backpack set with autoguidance fins directed the figures towards the camp far below.
Finally, a scarce two meters above the ground the figures halted, suspended in mid air by the packs' thrusters. Two seconds later they droped to the floor, their suits disintergrating and the pack imploding on itself. The mutants had landed in the camp.
An engineer, a physicist, and a statistician were hunting. After a short walk they spotted a moose. The engineer raised his gun and fired. The bullet landed 3 metres to the right of the moose. The physicist, realizing that the engineer did not account for the wind, aimed to the left and fired. The bullet landed 3 metres to the left of the moose. The statistician screamed "We got him! We got him!"
Eris tumbled in the special suit, headed for the ground at a high rate of speed. When the suit came to an abrupt halt, Eris felt herself get woozy. Crap. Not a good way to start a fight. She had taken precautions to ensure some safeties, but some risks were meant to be taken too. This was a risk.
The suit split open and expoded, leaving Eris there in the middle of a suprised group of many, many Stalkers. She had never seen one before, but had studied in the labs before arriving for the drop. Three of them surrounded Eris almost as soon as she hit her feet on the ground, and she had her work cut out for her right off the bat. She glanced up quickly to look for other mutants, and spotted the Abyss clones in the middle of the fight. Looks like Saturn had just taken down a Stalker. Great.
Black and Red hair flowing in the wind, her dark red leather close fitted outfit hugging her body, Eris looked like something out of a human comic, at least, that was what some of the other mutants had said. Eris just prefered to say she looked ready. Ready to kill some machines. She glanced at the three surrounding her and pulled a small device out of her pocket with one hand, while she threw up sub machine gun at pulled the trigger with her other hand, aiming at the closest.
Needless to say, the bullets easily ricocheted off the carefully constructed shield of the enemy, but it was enough. All Eris needed was that second of distraction. The device in her hand was a repeating flash bang grenade. In the second that she had, she had pulled the pin and dropped it near another Stalker. The grenade was off close to Eris, but she used her power to divert the light from each and every flash into a singular ball of light, now exponentially huge. The great ball of light grew bigger and bigger with every flash, encompasing the Stalker.
Eris chuckled and spun to her right, tumbling over a heap of dirt doubtless dug by a prisoner, and landed on her feet, keeping close concentration on the ball of light. Then, she released it. Just as the last flash of the grenade did its work, tThe ball of light surged deep into the shell of the now covered with light Stalker. The shield instantly dropped, and the Stalker started to smoke.
Katran ducked at a laser surged just over her head, blasting the dirt behind her. She glanced down and saw a crater. Not good... got to finish that one off. Eris rolled again, to her left, and then forward, coming up directly in front of the bot. She quickly used to her mind to manuever the gravity around the Stalker, gripping it and hurling into the ground. It was almost as if the ground itself had swallowed the Stalker, and only the tip of it's metal head was visible, it's wires likely shot by the large mass of dirt encompassing it.

Hades and Dragon King now reunited with each other checked each other off before they jumped. Hades had helped build the planes and so was on standby in case anything went wrong, but nothing did. Hades trajectory was slightly different for the rest of the group they hit the perimeter their packs guided by the cloud of mini satellites released by the XSP prior to re-entry to earth. He however went into the forest. Soon he was up in the trees and had scouted out several sniping posts he holed up in one that offered a great view of the whole camp, he then radioed in to the rest of the group
“Sniper in position, sighted fuel tanks and a transformer station, so if you need diversions just call them in, guards in towers light machine guns in each tower, sighted and locked on, shooting to wound/disable, a few stalkers still in patrol holding patterns in camp. Over and out!”

Seeing the ships, Ayesac knew what was going on.. time for action and play his part...since the guards and Stalkers were busy with the invasion force, he would have time. Walking do the halls on a hurry, every so often stopping at air ducts, his excuse would be, to guards that passed him, was he had to make sure the infiltrators were not trying to come in through the air ducts, and that he was making sure the motion detectors, that he installed inside of the ducts were still functional.... if they asked farther, he would go into technical mombo-jumbo like..
"The pyroelectric sensor is made of a crystalline material that generates a surface electric charge when exposed to heat in the form of infrared radiation. When the amount of radiation striking the crystal changes, the amount of charge also changes and can then be measured with a sensitive FET device built into the sensor. The sensor elements are sensitive to radiation over a wide range so a filter window is added to the TO5 package to limit detectable radiation to the 8 to 14mm range which is most sensitive to human body radiation.. this is why I must check them, because we also have ones that can detect from 3 to 7mm and even the slightest change cause a need to check"(could have made this longer)
With the ducts open, he would place a brick of C4, that were all connected to a manual trigger button that he had, his arm length up into the duct.. he done this a multiple times around the building in different places, on one side of the structure, on the lower level, connecting near load barring walls, so it would fall into the camp, and may fall into the motor pool area... but this wouldn't explode yet.. it wasn't time.... he made his way down to the computer mainframe.
Hunter landed on the ground lightly and was quite a sight. He wore a new armour that had not been seen before. It was slivery grey, form fitting and seemed to have a pair of pulse rifles on the back. In each hand Hunter carried the most powerful smallarms weapon ever made. Fusion Blasters.
They were Ingram's pride and joy. Micro fusion was one of his favourite areas of study, and in these weapons he had outdone himself. In testing they had succeeded in annihlating every make of tank used in modern warfare and, in their latest test, Stalker armour. The weapons had two flaws, short range and limited ammunition. That meant that the wielder needed to be able to get very close to his target and ensure every shot counted. Which was why Hunter was holding both.
The moment his feet touched the floor Hunter was in motion. He dove left as a Hellfire strafed his position. Rolling to his feet he closed on a pair of Stalkers who were moving over to engage the team of Abyss and his clones. Charging forward he said, "Take out the shields so I can have a clear shoot." On command his suit responded.

Hunter's armour seemed to ripple, and from the bumps on his shoulder two pulse rifles emerged while an extra ring seemed to appear on his helmet. The rifles turned and tracked the two stalkers simultaneously as there was some sort of movement within the ring encircling Hunter’s helmet.
*Bang* the pulse rifles fired and the shields of the two stalkers flickered and went down.
The guns then swivelled to track and assess all other stalkers in the area
Being dropped is quite a peculiar feeling; the wind gushes around you, resisting against every surface it possibly can, as the ground hurtles towards you. Stranger yet, is the sudden lurch that seems to reposition your internal organs, as, after minutes of collecting momentum, you are brought to a life-saving stop. The ground, however, is a normality, a solid constant that is reassuringly hard and unyielding against the soles of your feet. Impact – the novelty didn’t last for long, especially for the Nox whose dark figure instantly drew the attention of several stalkers.
Armed with more knives even she could possibly need, Nox naturally restored to her fighter’s stance, there was after all only one reason for her to be here. Her view was one of repetition: stalker, stalker, team-mate off over there, stalker, stalker, etc., and didn’t really have much going for it. Mindless thoughts were dispelled as she just managed to throw herself out of the way of a laser, which incinerated the ground that had previously held her feet. That’s new. Remembering what had been said she realised she had been pre-warned, it was simply that the small bit of experience she had had been against a Shadow, who apparently lacked the incinerating-laser-trick. Coming up from her roll, Nox decided to put the pulse rifle to the test, realising full well that if it didn’t work she was, in put it as a gross understatement, in trouble.
The pulse hit the shield straight on its energy seemed to wash over the shield before, with a last wavering flicker, the shield faded out of existence. Her luck apparently was holding. Knowing that there was no time to waste, Nox put her new method to the test upon, the now vulnerable, Stalker. Combining the plentiful heat that came from various aspects of the battle itself along with the heat the various electronic equipment of the Stalker wasted, Nox had quite an arsenal. Concentrating all of this energy, compressing it so that its intensity was incredible, she targeted its neck, or more specifically the inside of its neck. Little did she know that, on account of the vast energy supply and its now high concentration, the intensity was now similar to that of a laser, and so no metal would be able to withstand it. With the shield down the essential wires that allowed the electrical signals that transferred the metal beast into a moving, thinking metal beast, were protected only by their metal coatings and the outer armour. The intensity of the collected energy soon overcame the mere bonds of the metal, and so destroyed the precious wires. The Stalker staggered for a moment, as sparks flew from its neck, before collapsing with its head remaining attached by but a few strands of the surviving outer armour. There was no time for self-congratulations, only just enough to turn and face the next machine.
With Dragon King have disabled the shields of the two Stalkers Hunter moved in for the kill. Rushing forward he dodged left and right, avoiding plasma blasts and laser fire as he closed the gap between him and his quarry. As he got closer the margin by which he was dodging became narrower and narrower.
A plasma blot grazed his side as he dove left, searing a grove into Dragon King. Without pause Hunter rolled to his feet, leveled the first fusion blaster and fired. The shot went clean through the Stalker's chest, taking out the power source that Ingram and Gearhead had identifide from their disection.
As the first collapsed the second fired, slamming a plasma bolt into Hunter's chest. The blast ate clean through Dragon King and badly burnt Hunter's chest. Prior to the battle he had, in secret, ingested a large quantity of blood, and as such his body was already working to heal the wound. Rather than wait for Dragon King to reform his armour Hunter pressed the attack.
Leaping high into the air he began to flip over the Stalker. When his trajectory had him directly above the machine he unleashed a blast from the other weapon, punching a hole clean through the machine. Landing on his feet he spun to seek a new target and asked Dragon King, "Are you alright?"
Thrity-five minutes left... thirty-five minutes. Her mind kept repeating the number that would keep her alive. With the con of her power Katran couldn't afford to take any chances. Her watch on her wrist, that she found extremely unfashionable, told her the same number. In thirty-five minutes she would fall unconscious, which meant she had that much time to finish this and escape the field, or at least find a hiding place.
The other mutants hurled themselves down into the attack with the same ferocity that Eris had. Weapons at the ready, they seemed to be doing a signifigant ammount of damage. Eris regretted not taking any weapons with her this time, as she would probably need them in the future. No matter, right now she just had to survive.
Survive, kill. Survive, kill. A natural pattern for Eris' nature.
But her anger was not on the fritz this time. She was holding it in check and thus had quite more control than she had ever had before. In other words, she was way more effective in this battle than she had ever been before in a confrontation with her powers involved.
A Stalker nearby started whirling his guns in Eris' direction and she flipped backwards, landing on her feet, but tripped and fell forward to her knees. The Stalker moved in for the gun, and his guns started to blaze away.
All Eris could do was manipulate the gravity around the bullets, and each of them was sucked to the ground before it reached her. The sheer force of the bullets kept coming, and Katran's mind kept knocking them down. Good thing that fatigure doesn't affect me until the timer goes off... The strain of the concentration would have made any normal human dizzy... but not this mutant.
Finally she caught a moment of relief and hopped to her feet, this time with bruised knees. The Stalker had taken a breather, perhaps to power some other weapon source. His loss. Eris modified the space around the Stalker causing it's gravity to surge toward the Stalkers center. At the same moment, she amplified the gravity in the center of the Stalker's chest. The shield dropped under the sheer weight of unnatural gravity force. It never got a second chance at Eris. The result a few seconds later was a compression of all of the Stalkers limbs and components into a cube about 2 feet wide.
The cube sparked and hissed, but the Stalker was decidedly disabled. Eris walked up to it and kicked it, chuckling to herself a little.
Suddenly, another one had snuck up behind her. Laser aimed at her back. Eris heard it coming and spun around, but got blasted by a non-lethal knockback ray from some stray weapon. She flew back a few feet and landed on her back, her eyes facing the sky.
The cube had been caught in the blast too, and it came hurling towards her, landing on her chest with a thud. She started to lose sense of direction and didn't have time to use her powers before the Stalker was standing over her.
"Ummm... guys... a little help. Anyone?" She yelled as loud as she could to the team around her.
OOC: Hoping to start some teamwork and interaction between the players.

A slight tremor of what looked like lightening rippled across the armour when it got hit and what looked like liquid lightening seemed to leak from the edges of the hole when this liquid contacted Hunter’s skin, it seemed to accelerate Hunters already formidable regeneration speed, within seconds the hole was gone and the armour was as usual except the top surface suddenly hardened and took on the strength of adamantiaum alloy. “I’m fine.” Dragon King replied
"Good," Hunter replied, feeling a loss of mobility as Dragon King hardened his surface. Spotting Eris in trouble Hunter rushed over. Dragon King snapped off a Pules Rifle shot, knocking down the Stalker's shield. Hunter closed and raised a fusion blaster for a killing shot, but the Stalker reacted, lashing out with a tail and knocking the weapon aside.
Hunter held back, not firing, and instead raised the other fusion blaster. The Stalker rounded on him, siezing the wrist holding the gun and forcing it away so Hunter couldn't shoot it. Dropping the weapon Hunter tried to manouver the first fusion blaster for a shot, but the Stalker lashed out at that wrist with its other hand. Hunter only just pulled away in time to aovid having that arm immobilised by the machine aswell.
"Catch," said Hunter, tossing the fusion blaster back. Dragon King extended a limb to catch the weapon and bring it round to fire as Hunter fended off the jaws as the snapped in to bite at his head. Dragon King swung the fusion blaster around, looking for a shot, but the Stalker's tail was up, wrapping around the weapon, forcing Dragon King to extend over it and harden before it was crushed.
The Stalker kept it's grip on Hunter's wrist, twisting it painfully and nearly wrenching it from it's socket before Dragon King extended ont supports into the ground from the arm, keeping it in place. With its other arm the Stalker slashed for Hunter's side, but once again Dragon King reacted and intercepted it with a limb extending from Hunter's side. The mutants and machine were now locked togather, each fighting for supremacy.
Unfortunatly the Stalker was stronger and used its strength to try and force Hunter to his knees. Dragon King extended more supports, keeping Hunter upright while Hunter's free arm kept the Stalker's jaws away. Stalemate. Hunter and Dragon King had managed to stop the Stalker from killing them, but had no way to kill the Stalker. The outcome of this fight would be decided by who arrived to interveen first, a mutant or a Stalker.
Eris choked a little as the Stalker above her pushed the cube down onto her chest harder and harder. Katran felt a little blood squirt from the edge of her mouth, and started to lose control of her mind outright. The Stalker glared down with evil eyes, and was so close that Eris felt she could smell it's electronics working overtime. Oh boy...
Without warning, someone responded to Eris' cry for help. A blast came from a rifle and the Stalker's shield dropped instantly. It turned to face whoever had attacked it. That meant Eris was left, with a cube of former Stalker badness jammed into her stomach. She choked up more blood and pushed the cube off her stomach with her mind and use of gravity, then rolled to her left, just as the Stalker above her started to move. It seemed occupied with whoever had attacked it now.
But that didn't mean Eris was away from it's danger. It nearly stepped on her as she rolled by, missing her arm and head by a few inches. Too close. Not again. Eris stopped and waited, while the creature moved past her. Then she hopped to her feet, blood spilling from her chest where the cube had eveidentally broken skin.
Then it hit her. The fear that had been in the back of her mind came in a flood. Could it have happened? Did it just happen? Is all lost? How could I be so stupid?! The anger turned to revenge. Die Stalker! And the thought became a set of words, "Die Stalker!!" She yelled out and rushed toward the beast that by this point had a wrestling match going with a couple mutants.
Her anger was rare since the kidnapping, but right now she was on the go. She had little restraint with the fear she had in her mind. Too late anyways... now I just have to finish this. If it's lost, it's lost. Die Stalker! She was pulling out all the stops now, ready to pull a time trick.
With the blink of her eye, the world around her, Hunter, Dragon King, and the Stalker, came to an abrupt halt. Several seconds later, with another blink of the eye time went backwards, and the moment right before the Stalker's tail had grabbed the weapon was upon them. Eris' reaction time was quicker this time around, lying underneath the Stalker. She used an extreme force of gravity on the Stalker's head and crushed it to the size of a softball in a milisecond, then threw the Stalker backward about fifty feet.
She hopped to her feet and stared at a man that looked in his twenties or thirties and some metal that was nearby. This must have been the man known as Hunter that the people in the labs talked about. Just then, she remembered her headset, that she hadn't quite engaged yet. She lifted a hand to her ear and activated the earpiece. She spoke into the reciever. "That's another Stalker down." Then speaking to Hunter off the mike, "Thanks for the help..."
There wasn't that much time for a chat though, as more Stalkers were closing in.
OOC: Basically Eris warped time backwards a few seconds and turned the tables, defeating the Stalker. Hunter and Dragon King you can choose how you want to be affected by this, as I don't want to GodMod how it actually went down. BTW, we were the only three people on the battlefield affected by the warp, everyone else is as normal. (check profile for better explination on Eris' warps.)
Having tuned, Nox was faced with the not-so-pleasant sight of a forearm blade heading towards her with the intent of decapitation it seemed. A blade with the telling blue lining managed it block within inches of her neck. The laser enforced blade stood up to the grating force of the forearm blade, the more force the stalker exerted the harder it pushed its blade into the laser, and so the more the laser was able to bite into. Within the seconds the forearm blade was far blunter than it started off as, to the extent that though it could still easily deliver a deadly blow, the danger would come from the force and not its edge. While their blades were locked, a part of Nox’s mind realised that the humming energy of shield was lacking, which meant all she had to do was simply deal with the Stalker; someone else had kindly taken care of the shield. That said, dealing with a Stalker was no simple matter.
Realising it wasn’t gaining an advantage the Stalker adapted, and so kicked Nox in the side, sending her into the ground a few metres back. Nox, having witnessed this tactic before, knew what was coming and so as soon as she landed, against the pains of her body, she forced herself to roll forwards as the stalker leapt over to finish her off, or so it had planned. For having managed to roll while the Stalker was in mid flight Nox sprung to her feet behind the stalker. With a powerful black slash she embedded her blade within the stalker’s neck, its laser flaring up as it sunk, fighting against the metal, into the machine. After the laser overcome the resistance the metallic beast slumped to the ground, as it no longer was able to receive the electrical inputs it replied upon. Another one bites the dust.
Finding her self with a little bit of room, there being no stalkers in the immediate vicinity, she took the leisure of glancing around. To her surprise not only were the numbers of Stalkers noticeable less, but a large majority of the surviving ones were falling back to a defensive line. Realising that a small group of mutants was gathering of to her right, she took a few steps in that direction. So in effect there was a small, thinly spread group of mutants facing a somewhat intimidating line of Stalkers. Though faced with an extremely well armed blockade, which would be hard to approach without being hit, they now had the advantage that most of their enemy was in a collected space, so all they needed was one bright idea…
(OOC hope guys don’t mind the opportunity to get rid of a nice big group of stalkers, all we need is an imaginative idea or a useful weapon for the job. )
Hunter blinked in confusion. He was unsure what had just happened. A moment ago he'd been charging the Stalker that had Eris pinned and now he was standing beside her and she was destroying it. Then it sunk in, Eris must have time warped. When he was informed of her ability to time warp he was scheptical, but it was the only explination.
A glance around told him that the mutants were rallying to try and take on the Stalker line that had formed. Forming a plan he dashed to one of the Abysses while telling Dragon King, "Harden your whole surface as best you can, as we're going to take a pummling for this next trick."
Reaching the Abyss Hunter said, "Throw me into that mass of Stalkers. Up and over, so I come down from above. After that, the seven of you charge in, as I'm going to need back up." With the element of surprise Hunter hoped to drop several Stalkers before they swarmed him, and with a little luck the Abysses should get there in time to stop them tearing him apart.

Dragon was a bit confused too, although as he currently did not have a face this only manifested itself in a rippling across the surface of the armour.
“Harden your whole surface as best you can, as we're going to take a pummling for this next trick” Dragon King waited till they were airborne and then the sheathed Hunter in a layer of ectoplasm, leaving breathing holes, at first it just looked like Hunter was in a body bag, then suddenly the “body bag” hardened and spikes shot from it hardening into the strength of adamantium beta, “Hunter” now looked like a meteor from Hell with thick wicked looking jagged spikes jutting out, whatever they hit was gonna take damage, Big Time!!
