The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Cyra gritted her teeth, pissed because she didn't have access to her supposed mutant abilities. She needed a way to activate them. But who in the labs could do that. Apparantly someone by the name of Jackson. Dr. Jackson worked with genetics, as well as other things. What annoyed her the most was having some lowely guard escort her to this Dr.'s lab. The guard slid his key card through and punched in a code. A beep was heard and the guard pushed the door open and motioned her through shutting the door behind her.
'Finally, now to see if this doctor will help me, or if I have to force her. Cyra shrugged and moved into the labs, "Excuse me, is there a DR. Jackson here? I'm hoping they might be able to help me out on a private matter." She stood there looking around at all the equipment, slightly surprised at how much there was. 'This will be an interesting meeting.'
The moment the door to the lab had been opened, Gearhead had been alerted to it via a monitor flicking to life showing a slender woman stepping into the area between hers and Dr.Ingram's lab. Knowing how Ingram could get irritated by interuptions, especially unnessisary ones, which were most of them, TJ split the screen and checked the other lab. She didn't see Ingram which meant either he wasn't there, or he hadn't been bothered...yet.
As she began to stand up to go speak to the woman, an idea occured to her, as did a wide grin. She had made great progress on the frame and movement abilities of Crystal's physical body. It wouldn't be able to move on it's own until Crystal was actually using it, but Gearhead was able to control and move it easily. Since she hadn't had it move around yet, she hadn't set all the functions to their final specs yet, so as the frame moved towards the door and Cyra, it was slow and lumbered slightly, metal tap tap sounds echoed in the lab as it's toes touched the floor.
As the frame entered the area Cyra was in, Gearhead had it speak in a low grinding voice, "Perhaps, perhaps not. Who is looking for Dr. Jackson and what is the reason." In her lab TJ couldn't stock giggling as she watched via camera and through the frames prototype 'eyes'.
Cyra's eyes widened slightly, not sure what the metallic sound against the floor was. It was soon explained as a robot..no...a frame of a robot appeared. 'What the hell is that thing?!' She stared at before cautiously speaking, "I wish to speak with Dr. Jackson about genetics. Mainly my genetics that is. My name is Cyra Soma." She inclined her head, "If you can hear me Dr. Jackson, I would appreciate your help."Cyra shook her head inwardly, 'That looks like a shell or frame of something. I wonder what for?' Waiting for the robots reply, Cyra took a quick look around. There wasn't much to see, just electronic equipment. That didn't mean anything, she hadn't stepped through the doors. There was more to see she was sure. Cyra looked at the robot, wondering what would happen next.
