The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Shogun nodded. "[color-4FD700]I can sense non-organic things. I am able to send out some kind of pulse, which when it connects with things creates an image of them. It is far less useful then my ability to sense living things, as like normal sight it cannot go round corners, or see behind things. But it's better than the sticks most blind people have to deal with." He listened as Hades said he could give Shogun a PDA sized thing that would create his own 'holograms', but needed to know how sharp his sense was.
"From what I can tell, it is very much sharper than normal vision. You could just send one of those bacteria out, and I would be able to tell exactly where it is. Even with the multitude you used to dipict New York, I could detirmine where each and every one of them was, as opposed to normal people viewing pixels as a whole, single thing." hogun very much liked the idea of this spraygun, but saw limited uses for it. "How can I use this mist on the Stalkers? If they are armed with guns, then they could be a great distance away, and if they are close, they they would be able to move faster than a non-directed mist." As useful as this idea originally sounded, he did not actually see it being much help, unless... "Can humans perceive the mist? Or is it only when the bacteria are close together?"

Hades was enjoying this challenge. “The fact is Shogun, if your pulse can be developed into a long range sensing device then I would not want to dissuade you, but what I think that this bacterial could do for you is to surround you with something like a ‘sensing field’ of a certain radius, of course for missions we could arrange to have the area seeded with the organisms first. For specific targets I could make for you throwing weapons that would mark your target for up to 24 hours.”
"Can humans perceive the mist? Or is it only when the bacteria are close together?" “Hmm it is difficult for humans to perceive these bacteria at all, as they cannot sense life force, and to humans it would be like pollen, or dust, only if compressed in a chamber would they be able to sense it. Unless I give it color that is.”

"[color-4FD700]So this would heighten my pulses at short range, and could be used on specific targets? So if the Stalkers are slow enough, they could be hit by one of these, and I could perceive tham as easily as every other living thing?" Obviously, he wouldn't have foresight, and it was limited to how much of the target could be covered at once, and whether he could hit it, but it was sounding very good. A thought struck him. "Perhaps, instead of throwing these at the target, you could create some arrows that would work the same, and fit in my longbow?" That could allow him to hit a man-sized target from 300 feet away. He might be able to strike something at a greater distance, but after 300 feet he can no longer make out anything. At least not clear enough to shoot at.

“The arrows I can make for you very soon, I was also thinking of something like a ball you could throw and like those old glow in the dark stones of light it would give off organic dust so you can see, so it could be described as a ‘sight’ grenade. The PDA sized organic projector will be ready in about one to two days give or take. Oh yeah I almost forgot, I have been able to make a variant of the organisms to adhere rather strongly to metallic objects, so that would be a bonus.” Hades said as he mentally made a list of materials needed and machines. He quickly finished, a slight smile twitched at the corner of his mouth then it was gone, boy he was seriously starting to love his job. After double checking (mentally) the list, he snapped round to face shogun again.
“Right, that is sorted, I will get onto it asap, is there anything else?”

Shogun listened to Hades' ideas of light grenades and adhereing to metals. Always helpful. "There is one thing. My armour can repel metals, which would make some of these devices rather difficult to use. If it's on the end on an arrow, then it's fine. But I wouldn't be able to hold a grenade if it was metal." This would be a rather serious glitch, unless hades already knew about Shogun's armour and had found a way around it.

“That is not a problem Shogun as when I said grenade I was thinking in keeping with the non modern weaponry, besides the ‘grenade’ would just be a spore releasing device. It could possibly be a porous piece of rock, or corral, I shall call them light stones just for your reference, and I have named the organic compound phyite (pronounced sight, as shogun uses phy ability to ‘see’ it, hope you don’t mind shogun), but thanks for telling me about the metal repulsive material, that actually helps as it would keep a sheath of say 10mm around you clear of organisms, making reading them slightly less confusing. Any other requests?”

OOC: very cool name! But wouldn't phyite be pronounced 'fight'? perhaps psyite would be a better spelling. Just a thought.
IC: Shogun shook his head. "No, thankyou. I think I shall leave you to your work." Shogun turned to go, thinking about just how this invention would change the way he fought. He was going to have to get in some more training, as soon as Hades started producing it in large amounts. Oh, that's a point. He turned back, "Actually, I do have one question. How quickly can you make these gadgets, and how many can you make at once?"

“Hmm, give me twenty four hours, after that just walk into any training room and where you see the Psyite panel (which is now installed in every training room) it will simulate a real environment, complete with distance and a stalker like robot, which I have tried to mimic the movements and strategy of based on all the footage and data that we have so far, it is not the best imitation but it is the best we scientists can do so far till we get our hands on one. There will be light stones, arrows and weapons, and strap on dissipaters. Oh and then next time I see you I will probably give you some, plus a Psyite hologram projector that you can strap on to your amour and it will look like part of it, but It should not be effected by the mag field, as I will speak with Dr Ingram about that. After that there will be a section marked off for you in the armory. If you need any changes or have any new ideas for gadgets/upgrades, pop in anytime.”
And with that Hades waved his hands over a blank desk, which suddenly grew a screen and keyboard and got back to work.

Shogun nodded. "Thank you." Hades was evidently anxious to return to his work, seeing as how he already had, so Shogun chose then to leave. But on his way out, he made a mental note of the time, and planned to be in a training room exactly that time the next day.

((Hope it's alright to put this here, if not, just let me know.))
Kaz had gotten the message from Hades and made his way to the man's workshop as soon as he could. He was curious as to what Hades had in store for him, especially in such a short time. Having been put in charge of the labs he didn't bother knocking as he entered. "You have something for me?" Kaz leaned up against the door frame as he waited for Hades' response.

Hades looked up to see Kaz leaning against the door frame. He turned to Kaz “earlier you mentioned you would not mind a way of getting around. Well I have got a flying surfboard here if you are interested? It comes with a bracelet so you can summon it when you want. It can hover, fly at high speeds, by varying the thrust from the bottom of the board and sometimes turning it to suction you can actually fly along the ceiling with it if you so wish. If you would prefer something else well we can always work on that.”
He pressed a button on the bracelet he was holding in his hand and tossed it to Kaz, from the vehicle bay, a silver slim board rose into the air and shot forward. Through the open door of the barracks it flew, into Hades workshop at breakneck speed. It was agile and intelligent, it knew to dodge and weave around obstacles. It shot straight for Kaz and came to a complete sudden and abrupt stop in fromt of him, lowering itself so that he could easily step onto it.

Kaz listened intently to Hades and his description of the flying surfboard. Kaz caught the bracelet and waited as the board appeared and lowered to the floor in front of him. "Nice." The grin on his face would have been enough to say he was pleased. Lifting it up, he began to look it over. "You said high speeds right? About how fast, and how much weight can it hold? What powers it, I mean, do I need to fill it up with gas every so often or what?" He chuckled at his stupid question. "But ah, it's fairly smooth..are there like magnetic shoes I should wear to be able to stand on this thing? I'd rather not have to strap myself to it."
After some agonizing moments strawling around the long dark hallways he finally reached the barracks, where Hades workshop would suppose to be. Sweat was dripping down his forehead, it looked much like a fever, but the poison was kicking faster then he had hoped. He should have thought about this earlier but no time or regrets, time to see Hades now. Mandain found a door, but when he opened it he passed out the ground. No this wasn't Horus taking over, but the poison reaching his heart.

“You are quite right Kaz, there are the boots, the button on the side turns on the attraction field so once you step on the board you will not fall off. You also asked about speed, well it can travel so fast that at turbo speeds it can only be perceived as a blur by human eyes. It can hold ten times your body weight, and it is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell technology, so as long as there is air, it will run for eternity, it can also last for 6 hours in an airless environment. It has two modes, as indicated by the buttons on the bracelet. One mode is hover, in which case the two things you can set on the bracelet is the hover height and the speed you are going. Setting the hover height will tell to board to maintain a set distance between the board and the surface you are flying on.
The second mode is surfboard mode, in which case think of air surfing but being propelled by a rocket. The board is made of an element invented by my brother. It is called dragons gold, at full speed the board can punch through heavy tank armour. So if you rev it up, tap the attraction field off and hop off you could use it as a weapon. Hope that answers all your questions.” (mandian still working on your post)

(hope you don’t mind me taking a blood sample Mandian) Hades had just finished talking to Kaz when Mandian reached the door way and collapsed, red lights started blinking. Different beams of lights started to play across Mandian’s body, and diagrams started appearing on some screens on the wall on top of Hade’s desk a a voice started reporting. “Warning, poison sensed in system, progress pre-critical. Initating emergency chemical sampling and analysis. Anti-venom and emergency stores on line.”
Out of a wall a robotic arm shot out holding a needle and extracted some blood from Mandian. “Poison analysed. Allergy analysis complete, genetic structure stable.” The computer intoned as a three dimensional picture of Mandian’s DNA appeared on the screen and details about it in an undecipherable scrip (undecipherable that is except to Hades, this was his way of respecting the privacy of the patient). “Administering anti-venom. Patient health returning to normal. Patient should wake in 10seconds.”
Hades breathed a sigh of relief, as his fingures stopped their rapid flight over keyboards as he coordinated the effort to restore Mandian’s health. He turned back to Kaz as robotic arms lifted Mandian onto a nearby bench. “sorry about that, now what was I saying?”
