AppearanceHair color and style: Celeste has long hair that shares the same appearance as her body, with passing stars and celestial objects. However, the overall glow of her hair takes on a more purple-ish-to-magenta hue. Normally she keeps her hair long but has been known to wear it up, even to trim it from time to time.
Skin Tone: Alters between various shades of purple, dark blue, magenta, and other in an infinite array of colors and movement, speckled with distant, twinkling dots of light.
Eye Color: Black with icy blue and purple irises.
Height: 5’8
Build: Supple with curves but obviously well cared for.
Visible mutation: The whole of her body appears like a distant void of space with galaxies, space dust, clouds and stars.
Scars/ Tattoos/ Piercings: None
Other features: There is a constantly cluster of what looks like planets circling around her orbit. However she does have some control over them and is able to move the cluster to circle anyway from her midsection, to her wrist, even the crown of her head. These “planets” all do seem to be...alive? Sometimes there seems to be shadows or lights on the surface but just as quickly as they are seen, they disappear from view. If there are any kind of intelligent life on these orbs, Celeste doesn’t know, but it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
Additionally, Celeste doesn’t talk. She won’t say why as she seems physically capable of it. Rather she expresses herself through facial cues, gestures, music, or with the latest in human technology — texting!
Everyday clothing style: Celeste is used to wearing a Greek chiton, usually white and gilded along the edges, but she is slowly being introduced into more modern styles of clothing. Currently she is favoring jean shorts and a loose, peasant tops. She really doesn’t need clothing but she wears them for the sake of modesty — and to prevent bad memories.
Uniform: The “royal house” wear usually consisted of her Greek chiton in a variety of colors, all with gold or silver fringe work.
Sleepwear: Nothing. She prefers to not have clothing on when she sleeps.
Miscellaneous clothing: She has a seashell bracelet that was given to her by a suitor. She doesn’t know why she keeps it. It’s a reminder of a life that she hated but she also refuses to throw it away.
CharacterPersonality: Celeste is very quiet. When her abilities developed at an early age, she was immediately taken to the palace where she was promised a life of leisure and peace. However it proved to be a lie and fear and degradation were all that she was exposed to. Because of this, she has a hard time trusting people, especially those that are “nice” or “flattering”. They tend to earn a wary look from her.
It is tragic but Celeste has turned inward. Honestly she feels that if she can trust anyone, it’s herself. Other people will have quite a hard time getting to know her. This will often give the image of a stuck-up royal, seeing herself as too good to lower herself to interact with others. however, underneath that, she really is just a scared girl who was treated just as poorly as anyone else.
She is very observant but does little to express herself. Instead she watches people, learns their patterns and, if they interest her, will see her doing things to that she knows they like. Otherwise, she will use this knowledge to evade and stay away from them as much as possible.
Hobbies/ Interests: Celeste is skilled at calligraphy and is playing the lyre. These were things that she had learn when living in the palace and they are some of the few that bring her actual joy.
Job or part time job and description: Learning to be a student
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: She doesn’t like being touched. It makes her uncomfortable for reasons she will not state. Additionally she doesn’t like it when people are too nice to her. She always looks to see if there is an ulterior motive. If not, she will still begrudgingly accept help or niceties, but doing so will ensure they stay on her radar just in case it’s an elaborate lie.
Special talents: Skilled musician, especially for the lyra and the Pan flute. However she is also beginning to show interest in drums.
MoralityGood/ bad/ neutral/ other: True neutral. Celeste doesn’t know alot about this world so she is taking her time getting used to the way of things. Because of that she doesn’t make any moral decisions one way or the other, but simply observes to see which best course of action will result in her benefit.
MutationsMutation description: Heavenly Body- For lack of a better term, Celeste is a living heavenly body. Though she is solid and has a sense of touch, the young girl appears to be a walking embodiment of the deep reaches of space. Stars, interstellar clouds, nebulas, all lazily float through the space of her body, making her seem like a deep, endless void that could easily suck in the observer. In addition to that, several satellites (or planetoids) seem to be constantly rotating about her person in orbit, giving her the true appearance of some divine entity. However, her gifts have both benefits and curses.
Strengths:[/b] To look upon Celeste is to gaze upon the heavens. She is an inspiration, a true beauty, and something the likes of which can easily turn heads. This often has earned her a number of admirers: soldiers, poets, lotharios, all the likes of which have vowed to do anything she asks of them to garner her favor.
Heavenly Light- When in danger, or at her leisure, Celeste can concentrate hard enough to cause her body to emit a powerful, bright glow of light, like a supernova, from the void of her body. This can be used to blind opponents or light up a dark room. If she is truly focused, she can localize this light into an extremity, making the light focused and superheated, enough to melt metal.
Darkest Cold- On the flip side, Celeste can focus to dim all the stars that are flowing within her body to make her appear like the blackest, darkest void. This makes her extremely chilly to touch. Much like her supernova, Celeste can focus this cold into a single point on her body. Whatever it touches will instantly be frozen through several layers. Extremely damaging to organics and can weaken the structure of inorganic materials.
Planetoids- The series of planetoids that follow her orbit are interesting to behold. These range in size from pebbles, to golfballs, to the largest, baseball sized. Most appear like dead, spherical stones. However there are some that seem to take one lush greens and deep blues. They are too small to see if they carry viable life, but that wouldn’t be the strangest thing. Additionally, Celeste does have the ability to control the orbit of these satellites, whether to move them someplace more convenience when she is sitting or lying down to sleep. She can also pluck one from her orbit and hurl it like a comet at any would be attackers. Though she doesn't care to do it, Celeste can superheat or superchill a planetoid she is holding and hurl it at an opponent. Once discard from her orbit, they will either remain outside until she picks it up and places it back in orbit, or they will shatter depending on where it was thrown to. However, even after being destroyed, within a few days, a new planetoid will appear in her orbit, seemingly coming into distance after she has had some rest. These take about two to three days to form.

Weaknesses and Limitations:[/b] Though she is quite beautiful to behold, that is not always a good thing. More often than not this attention has gone wrong. This attention has ranged from obsessive stalkers, worshippers, and (currently) some still referring to her as some terrifying freak.
Physical Harm- She appears like she is an empty void, but unless she is achieving Darkest Cold or Heavenly Light, she can be touched, grabbed, held, or cut and bled. When she bleeds, it is difficult to tell except for what appears to be a nebula of deep red flowing through the space of her body. Because of this, it can be difficult to treat any wounds she receives. If these signs are not looked out for, she could very well die from an infection she never knew she had.
No Voice- She has no voice. The reason for which she will not go into but most have claimed if is because of her mutation. There is no air in space and if that is what her body is simulated, therefore she has no air to speak through. Instead Celeste usually communicates through facial expressions, pointing, writing, or through music. However, since coming into the modern world she is learning to use technology to move past this malady.
Superheated or Superchilled- These two modes at actually also attached to Celeste’s emotions. If is he very angry or frustrated, she could go supernova until she calms down. If she is depressed or extremely sad or lonely, she’ll become extra cold. If she isn’t careful, she can hurt people like this, just by touching them (and, unfortunately, she has).
Minor Orbit- Small things get caught in her orbit when she is not concentrating. It can be...annoying. Especially if she is zoning out and suddenly there's a pencil in her vision. This can get old very fast and can cause a bit of a disruption to her life.

Physical AbilitiesGeneral Physical Capabilities: Celeste’s capabilities are pretty basic for a girl of her age, height, and weight. She does have excellent dexterity (her lifetime of learning instruments) and her coordination provided from years of learning dance have made her fairly lightfooted.
Fighting Style: Celeste isn’t a fighter. She was taught to be quiet and still for most of her life. However she has those same instincts as anyone else and is capable of balling up a fist or kicking a shin when need be. If she absolutely needs to fight, she will rely on her powers, either generating increased heat and blinding light across her body, or becoming extremely cold to the touch.
Fighting Style Pros/Cons:PROS:Plenty of room for improvement
Burning / Freezing upon touch is useful
CONS:No real style and can easily be outmatched
Without her powers she can easily be subdued
History Of Your CharacterAll Caelistis has ever known is Atlantis. When she was born, it was heralded as a miracle from the gods. The divine had touched this child’s mother, bringing forth a demigod of the most unbridled beauty into the world. Though her mother was lost in the process, and the father unfit (so they say) to care for her, Caelistis was brought to the palace to be raised as a favorite among the demigods. As she aged, she was told of the wonders that she would see, the favors she would gain, and the boundless luxury that she would know.
It was, for the most part, a lie.
Caelistis was indeed treated like a goddess. She, and several other demigods with beautiful physical mutations, had the best teachers, the nicest accommodations, and the richest of foods. They were educated thoroughly in the history of Atlantis, gifted with the arts of the Muses, treated like absolute royalty; but it was a sham for what was really going on. They weren’t being raised as inspiration to the gods — they were being trained for more political reasons.
The house of Atlan raised these demigods to be married off to pre-selected nobles with hopes of securing power in the undersea kingdom. They were being used as little more than fine bargaining chips and little more. Celeste became aware of this when her once friend, Aurum (a beautiful, gilded boy), had been married off once he reached eighteen to a politically savvy and cruel woman. When she saw him and his wife visit the palace again, he was a hollowed creature, little more than her arm candy, cruelly broken of spirit.
It was a future she didn’t want — but one she knew was fast approaching. To make matters worse, the eyes that seemed most focused on her were none other than King Atlan himself.
In the years that followed, Caelistis had her fair share of admirers, people who thought that a betrothal to her were possible. King Atlan led them on, promising them a future with her in exchange for whatever he wanted. Afterwards they would quickly find themselves either disgraced or gone missing, only for the next unlucky fool to fall into the web that Atlan weaved around her.
She grew older and it seemed that the same fate would befall her — that is until the metal bird came from the sky. The demigods known as “X-Men” appeared and brought salvation to Atlantis. It seemed that prayers had been answered and Celeste was no longer a pretty toy kept in a cabinet — she could experience the city anew.
But she found only suffering. People were confused and leaderless. The new queen tried to appease all but change the old rules. Her own father had dead years ago and she had no other relatives to turn to. Therefore, when news spread amongst the citizens that the X-Men were ferrying people to a school of demigods, Celeste volunteered. With no where else to go, she knew she would have to find a new home to call her own.
For the most part Celeste as been doing her best to adjust to life in Xavier’s. The demigods and Gorgons are...strange. They speak, dress, and eat oddly, but Celeste is trying to adapt. It helps that some of her own kind are there but not all are as kind to her as she would have hoped, a sentiment that has only proved to make her somewhat bitter and calloused. Seems cruelty and judgment follows her wherever she goes.

Booker B. Bookman Sample RP:The chiton reminded her of the old days, the bad days, but it was the only thing she felt comfortable wearing while sitting on the roof of the mansion. As the night extended around her, Celeste took a deep breath, catching the scent of plants in the air. It was fresh — a new season. Things in Atlantis always smelled the same: same breads being baked, same spices being crushes, same sweat glistening off soldiers as the marched in formation; it was nauseating now that she thought about it. But here, in the surface world, things were different. They were fresh. She liked fresh.
Tucking her legs up to her chest, she hugged her knees to herself, resting her chin upon them. Her void-like eyes looked out over the night, focusing on a distant tree that waved and shook in the breeze. She was enamored by the sight. It wasn’t being manipulated by a demigod or anything else unnatural — it was simply “being” and that was a concept that garnered most of her interest.
Would this place, Xavier’s, let her “be”? Will they let her grow as she wished? Or did she fall into another lie? She was too young to know any better before, but now that she was older, she was careful. Atlantis taught her a long time ago that no one was going to take care of her. People had motives. Other plans. If that was how it was going to be, fine, she would make her own plans. So she would be here, she would “learn” and she would observe this new world. And, with time, she would pray for opportunity to present itself. The second it did, she would grasp it.
Stretching on leg out, she pressed her back against part of the roof that slanted and sighed as she held up her arm. There, orbiting around the inky blackness of her wrist, was a small rotation of planetoids. She watched them with momentary interesting, satellites that had been with her for as long as she could remember. How long as she stared at them, looked in interest upon their rotating surfaces. They switched out constantly, sometimes she woke up with completely new (or so she thought) planets moving about her body. Tonight there seemed to be nothing of note. The same dead worlds, little more than spherical stones.
At least that is what she believed until one passed her vision, covered in green. She stopped, her eyes zeroing in on it, watching as it orbited her wrist. It had been some time she since she had seen a world of green. Hrm. Vaguely she wondered why this day was different from all others but her musings were interrupted by the sounds of footsteps.
”Celeste?” an older, gruff voice said.
”You’re up here again.” The taller, gruff man sighed as he made his way down the roof and planted himself next to her. Not too close, but close enough.
Celeste turned her eyes down, tucking her knees in again, trying to curl into as tight of a ball as she could. The older man, the water moving demigod named Jorge, scared her sometimes. He reminded her so much of the ruling class in Atlantis. But he had been one of those that liberated them, no? Other gorgons called him a hero, but Celeste was wary of heroes. History and experience (especially General Paci) all proved them to be just as corruptible as anyone else.
He stayed quiet for several moments more before he took a breath and looked out over the view.
”It’s a nice night. Bit cold though, isn’t it?”She said nothing.
He persisted.
”It’s warmer inside. Sure you wouldn’t be more comfortable in the living space? Some of the other kids are watching a movie. You don’t want to join them?”She shook her head.
Jorge nodded. A few moments passed before he smirked.
”You don’t have to come in yet. But...will you allow me to bring you some hot chocolate then you can come back in when you’re ready?”Celeste was quiet for several moments. She hated that he was so nice to her. Nice meant there was another motive but try as she might, most all these X-Men were genuine — at least right now. She really hoped it wasn’t a trick but a voice in the back of her mind made that a constant fear. Still, ever since she had been introduced to hot chocolate, she knew it was a yummy treat and her stomach rumbled for it.
Turning her head, she eyed the man with her starry eyes before she very quickly and subtly nodded once. This spurred on a smile from Jorge. Stating that he would be right back, he turned, climbed the roof and slipped in through a window, back inside. Celeste unfurled herself a little, attempting to relax the tension in her body just a little bit. She still wasn’t sure about this place but she would stay and she would observer. And, in the meantime at least they had plenty of hot chocolate.
