Miscellaneous clothing: Always has a leather jacket that she is careful to not destroy or lose when shifting.
Character
Personality: She can be introverted and shy at times, but that doesn’t mean she can’t go out and have a good time. You just never really know what you will get when you already know her.

Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Rayne’s sense of morality is mostly good. That doesn’t mean she is a saint, but rather just has her moments sometimes. Like when she has shifted and the animal instinct pushes hard and takes over in a bad situation, like being cornered or attacked, instinct would be hard to fight, but for the most part, she is good.
Mutations
Mutation description: Rayne can shapeshift into animals, meaning she shifts into the actual animal itself but with her human mind intact and in control. So far she has managed to the Snow Leopard, Snowy Owl, a Calico Cat, Black Mamba, Golden eagle, a Sable, and a brindle pit bull.
Strengths: Allows her to get in and out of places if she is stuck or cornered. After every animal that is learned her strength and senses grow. She gains the skills and attributes the animal she shifted into has while she is in that form.
Weaknesses and Limitations: Rayne has to study each animal for about 4 or 5 months before she can shapeshift into it, even longer if they are complicated. Loses her clothes quiet often, destroyed if bigger than her, lost if the animal is smaller than her since she can't take them with her. Cannot shift into people.
The bigger the animal, the longer she needs to recover afterwards before shifting again. For example if she were to shift into her calico cat form for a few hours it would only take her no more than 10 minutes to recover and maybe a little bit of food, but if she was to shift into a grizzly bear or bigger and was in the form for a few hours, she would need almost a day to recover and lots of food.
Injuries taken in animal form will be transferred to her human form.
Rayne isn’t big on bugs, especially spiders, so you won’t see her shifting into one ever, unless it’s a live or die situation. Plus they are just too tiny and would take way more energy than shifting into a bear.
She doesn’t gain arms and legs with her animals, like no snake gets arms and she can’t speak to others with words in any animal form.
Physical Abilities
General Physical Capabilities: Rayne may not look strong but she is and she is a runner, she just likes her body how it is and doesn’t want to be stick thin. She works out 3 days a week for MMA and 2 times a week for boxing
Fighting Style: MMA and Boxing
Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Pro’s- Makes her flexible, strong, better reflexes, can defend herself. Con’s- No weapons training,
History Of Your Character
Growing up, Rayne doesn’t remember anything of her blood family. She was found on the steps of an orphanage, so she was told. She spent years there with the other kids, kids that were nice and kids that were cruel. When she was around 8 years old, a family adopted her. Their daughter wasn’t very happy in sharing her family with an “outsider” as she called Rayne so you can imagine that it wasn’t a very fun household to grow up in. Lucky or unlucky, the family sent Rayne back after their daughter framed Rayne for things that she didn’t do. Going from home to home for years until one day, on her 15th birthday, she had a nightmare and shifted into her first animal, a snow leopard. She loved to read and that was the animal she studied the most on for her report for school. Luckily for her, the other girls in her room were out for the night, probably meeting up with some of the boys from school drinking. She also realized that her clothes had been destroyed.
That morning while she was getting ready for the day, she noticed her hair was no longer a dark brown, but a platinum blonde, almost white. That would raise some eyebrows seeing as the lady in charge of the orphanage didn’t allow the kids to dye or bleach their hair so she packed up everything she had and left. She managed to procure a fake id that stated she was 18 years old so she was able to also get a job in a different city soon after leaving. It was just a job cleaning tables at a restaurant but it got the job done. Every night that she didn’t work, she would learn to control her shifting so it wasn’t ruled by emotions until one day after she was 17, she controlled it and perfected it. She started to wonder if she could shift into anything else so she started to read up on another animal, but this time it was a bird of prey, a snowy owl. A few months later she was able to shift into the snowy owl. She also learned that the first few shifts into a new animal hurt like hell but gradually got better.
Rayne knew she couldn’t depend on her shifting ability to defend herself and she knew she would have too, she knew she was pretty so she started to take MMA and boxing classes. At 19 years old during one of her work days, she overheard a few customers talking about a snow leopard. Seeing as how this was Australia, snow leopards weren’t native and immediately heard people saying it had to be a mutant. She waited a few weeks, listening to rumors spread before someone came forward saying they saw a girl with white hair minutes after the snow leopard incident, that they had a picture, though it was a bit blurry. She didn’t stick around though, she went home after that, bought a ticket to New York and left a day later. She couldn’t take the chance that the picture would be identified as her. Once in New York, Rayne found a job at a tattoo parlor after applying and impressing the other artists. Rayne has since then spent her days working while her nights have been spent reading up on other animal forms and practicing.

Sample RP:
Rayne didn't like a crowded shop which was why she was the only one here right now. Maybe two others came throughout the day to work here, but they didn't stay the whole time. They came when they had appointments to keep, otherwise Rayne did the walk in's if she didn't have someone she was working on. She could also call someone in if she truly needed to.
Hearing her shop door open, she looks up at the man walking in and recognizes him as her appointment. Closing her book, she stands and places it under the counter when she gets there. When someone comes to get a tattoo and they are sure of what they want, Rayne won’t try and change their minds, usually only when she knows that something would work better. Like instead of doing a watercolor type tattoo that's small and wouldn't work well later on, do more of an open patch shade. Makes more sense when you see if done.
Giving the man a slight nod she also greets him back. "Morning. You are the one with the back tattoo correct?" She asks as she reaches under the counter for her binder, already going through it to his page so she can grab out the stencil that she will put on his back before inking him. She wants to make sure it’s exactly what he wanted. She likes happy customers, means they come back for more one day.
