X-Mission 1 The Mutant riot

The police had done an amazing job and holding the line. The rioters were loud and waving signs but not yet over the breaking point of charging their lines. Aura was hidden from view from most people dressed in a green hoodie and jeans as well as her colored midnight blue locks. Aura shouldered past mutants complaining of poor experiences with humans. Some were tragic, some were whiners looking to rebel and some just wanted to fight someone.

As she broke the front of the rioters line she saw about ten feet to the police line and a man who demanded she move back. Instead she smiled as her aura blinked into existence and charged. A good number of bean bags struck her aura but they did not slow her down and and she looked up into the terrified officer's eyes as his lungs were both punctured with precision.

Aura did not know if it was the gurgled cry of the officers' the officers calling for real bullets or her charge that did it but she had barely struck a female officer in front of a car when she saw the first mutant rioters pass her by, a blow to the neck ensured the female officer would never threaten another mutant again.

She looked up in time to see what looked like a six foot tall ant centaur hurl a car at a low flying news helicopter. He missed but the car struck the front of a seven eleven and gave it a drive threw window around isles 3 and 4. Looting started right after which Aura disliked, she had to find a way to get their attention.

Aura went up to the police car and tried to open it, it was locked, so Aura carved the lock out of the door and forced it open. Inside Aura quickly found a bullhorn and grabbed the police computer cutting it's cords instead of looking for the plugs.

Climbing to the top of the police car she talked into the bullhorn. Her voice got her annoyed glances, the glowing aura around her body got her the ears of her people. "The police can oppress us no more! Together we are powerful and together we can be free of the humans clutches. Rise up and ensure your children have a future before these human dogs kill them. No longer will we suffer humanity wicked fist upon us. " she called into the bullhorn, her words bringing the loud riots to whispers.

"Follow me, my people to police headquarters, there we shell strike at one of the sources of our oppression. There we will begin to claim our world in the name of survival, the future and our children. Tonight we show humanity who rules this city!" she yelled and keeping the bullhorn she leapt of the police car and smiled for the news camera that had filmed all of it.

Aura knew they would never get that far, but what matterd is the news would air her comments and the fear they caused might even make into the election debates. What matterd was these people were angry and willing to sow chaos against the police. Aura would sue that to further the cuase of mutants. Long before they made it the two miles to police headquarters Aura assumed the X-men or mrc would be deployed. Then well they would see what broke first.
