The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

he stood at the side door marked employees only, the place was a simple store selling the basic goods and wasn't to large. he could smell the fire next to him burning like it had been for the last few minutes in preparation for what he was about to do. After giving the door a simple once over he could tell that it would be easy enough to break and he knew it led right behind the counter, having noticed that the fire had died down and left him with all he needed he braced himself for what he was about to do.
He blew out all the ash he had and formed a sort of head mask with it, a simple thing and soon did the same with his whole body, then used the remaining ash from the fire to form two long whips attached to his arms, covering half his for arm and trailing two meters long each, ever since his first use of this particular move it had become his favorite in sheer power and speed. Catching a glimpse of himself in a window he had to laugh, with all the smoke and ash he reminded himself of a sort of demon like creature, the effect was amplified when he could see the ash glowing and feeding off the fire it covered.
Pushing all the Hot ash into the whips and pulling the cold ash to the flames coating his body, the whips started to glow as all the ash they where made from got replaced with red hot ash. "Well lets make it fun then." He said to himself cheerfully. Before swinging the whips in a cross across the door, which as he though got cut cleanly into 4 pieces which each had notably burn edges. Before running into the store to do what he came to do.
Once in the store it became clear how easy this would be, one quick horizontal swipe was needed to cleanly destroy half the store, and by the looks of it kill some people that where shopping. He calmly strode over to the shopkeeper spinning his toys as he did letting each swipe burn marks into the floor and send up a shower of sparks, "Now now now lets not get nasty but..." He decided to not bother ending that sentence and instead wrap once of the whips around the mans neck like a tentacle, before tossing the limp man like a rag doll.
After that he got what he came for and put the 200$ in his pocket, and just for good measure and as he was in a massive ego boost, he spin in the center of the room and watched with glee as the whole store fell apart each aisle cut in half and some people/ items ablaze. Before grabbing a body with the whips and throwing it through the glass doors to make a entrance to the street.
Enders motorcycle tore down the street as he weaved in and out of traffic. The Marine didn’t have any particular place to go instead just was just out enjoying the feeling of a nice ride. It wasn’t everyday Enders had nothing of particular interest to attend to so the open air was a nice change of pace for the young crystal manipulator, little did he know that was about to change. As the billowing smoke of a building fire came into view Enders cranked back on the accelerator in an attempt to get past the building before firetrucks blocked him in on the tight city blocks.
Enders wasn’t one for rubbernecking so he had no desire to glance inside the burning shop as he approached but as he neared the shop the sudden bursting of the front window followed quickly by a body landing in front of his motorcycle caught even him by surprise. Moving quickly he leaned to the side in a desperate attempt to swerve from striking the newly laid speed bump, tires squealed loudly as smoke pushed out from his own tires due to the rear wheel of his bike sliding around to make its way in front of the other tire causing Enders to face back towards the burning shop.
Finally coming to a stop Enders kicked down the stand and lifted himself off his bike, a fire wasn’t his problem but if people were still in there maybe he could do some good today. Swinging his leg off he stood and began to make his way towards the shop when his teeth gritted hard at the sight of a black tentacled monster stepped out of the front of the window a body had just opened for it. Pushing his power directly into the ground below him Enders eyes began to burn bright blue and releasing a burst of energy he was launched into the air as a sole crystal spire burst from the ground below him.
As he flew through the air on a collision course towards the black and red mutant he began forming his armor as he positioned himself for contact with the new enemy his fist extended outwards. Crystals sprouted directly outwards spiking in all directions starting from the tip of his fist quickly spreading up his arm. As crystals grew rapidly and spread across his body another wave quickly followed causing the crystals to merge and flatten forming itself into an armor of crystal gauntlets and breastplate before doing to same on his legs. As he flew at the enemy his fist extended outwards he let out a cry of anger as he neared the beast.

So far things where going to plan, right until he heard the angry cry coming worryingly close to him. Realizing to late what was about to happen he had no choice but to take the hit coming from the odd looking mutant, as the fist hit him he was thankful that the ash cushioned some of the blow, even with the added protection he was still sent flying a good few meters. As he landed he let the ash break apart and form a landing zone that helped to catch him and not break his bones on landing.
With a groan he pulled himself to his feet, using the cloud underneath him to assist him in standing up. He looked around for a moment and spotted the mutant that had hit him, and he had hit him hard his head was pounding like someone had hit him with a truck. Tasting something odd in his mouth he spat and was puzzled to see a blob of his blood hit the floor. Damn must have bit my tongue He thought, hoping that it wasn't anything more serious than that.
With a thought he sent the cloud rushing towards the newcomer in two long streams, which promptly broke apart in midair as a new wave of pain shot through his head. He knew that if his headache didn't stop then he would get beaten so fast it would be embarrassing, with a effort he managed to get the ash to return to him and stay floating in several rings around him. With the headache he was beginning to doubt he would be able to concentrate enough to control the ash at any distance more than a meter or so.
