The large bag swayed from side to side on his back as he walked. He wasn't in any hurry, why should he be? It wasn't like he just broke into a few store a short time ago and took some stuff. That stuff was then moved to the large bag on his back, which was so conveniently located on the wall of the first store he went into.

What was he going to do with the stuff in the bag that easily weighted more than Gina, maybe even two Ginas? Well, he didn't know, not really, and not just then. Maybe he'd bring some to Gina and see if she could make him another pair of pants, or maybe a jacket, if not her, then he'd possibly ask Abyss who does his clothes. That man obviously needed custom clothes made, all the red guys did. If he knew who to go to, maybe he'd ask for something. He had the material. Or most of it at least, he was sure of that.

After taking the items and making his way away from the scene of the multiple crimes, via rooftops, Aurion was now on street level again, walking in a very casual way. Where was he walking, well...

The lizard man looked around him and realized he actually wasn't sure where he was. Yes he could find street signs and figure out where he was in a vague sense, but he realized he hadn't been in the area before. Aurion wasn't quite sure he felt comfortable in the area either. Not because he felt threatened in any way, oh hell no. It was just, ya know, awkward. He was in the 'late night' area of the city, late at night, and it was alive! With sounds and people and smells, even if he couldn't smell them, he was sure they were there too.

By the time he realized this there was no way to leave without back tracking, which felt like he was going backwards and wasting time, or trying to go up and over, and with the bag, the could be a bit annoying. So with a sigh the large, inhuman, lizard-man fixed his shoulders and walked down the sidewalk. His face was set, determined to ignore the humans all around. No he wasn't scared, but he did not really feel like dealing with the trash, or making a scene when he inevitably removed their throats. So, his face was set, and that was rather normal to him, but to most humans, he'd look like he was looking for someone to maul.

It was a successful night for Chrysanthemum which she would attribute proudly to her charisma, charm, and accomplished social graces.

Or her tight, low-cut top. Oh fine, it was definitely the top. Alright, the victim-to-be was not a thinker. At one point she absentmindedly started fantasizing aloud about dissecting him-- like blatantly wanting to cut him open, and the dolt somehow thought she was using a euphemism. She could have been reading names out of a phonebook and he would have been smiling and nodding like a bobblehead.

So he was an idiot! He was also a former college defensive end! (For the whole half-semester he managed to stay in a college for.) He was really big and really muscular and that had Chrys's playtime energy flowing. Her powers did not scale, so a hammer to her tiny shin was going to hurt his meaty shin like he was a pretty little thing.

It was so much fun making a big man scream like a schoolgirl.

Chrys was draped on the firm arm of... Marky? Mack? It was an 'M' Name. She was draped on his arm as they exited the club. Chrys was so excited! He was such a big, strong man!

But then her eyes wandered across the sidewalk for a minute.

M-Something was big.

That green guy... was HUGE!

M-Dude was a sure thing, but how could she pass up such a unique opportunity? She positioned herself to face her now former prey and decided she needed a quick way to deal with him.

"Let's go. Now." With a confused face that she figured out was his default, he watched as she rifled through her purse until she found the sedative she usually used on prey or when problems came up. And then she handed him the sedative. She literally handed it to him and said, "Go in the alley and use this and I'll be there in a second for um, sexy things?"

His blank dumb face became a happy dumb face when she used the magic word and he gladly obliged and walked into an alley where he would inevitably knock himself out. Natural selection was slacking.

With him taken care of, Chrys did her best to catch up to the green man at a hurried pace signaled by the clacking of high heels. It was lucky that the towering man(?) was walking slowly, giving Chrys the chance to catch up and get beside him. "Hey there handsome, whatcha carrying?"

Aurion heard the sound of the heels long before the woman ever got near him. When he guessed she was actually heading towards him and not just in his direction, because at the speed it sounded like she was going, there was no one that looked like they were meeting her, he shifted the bag so that it would be in her way. At least that's what he hoped. There was enough sound around that he couldn't be quite sure which side she was coming up on, so he hoped his guess was right. And when it wasn't, he sighed heavily, with a light growl mixed in.

The first that that caught his attention, and caused him to take a half step were her words. 'Handsome?' He wasn't sure how to take that. The tone of voice sounded...what was that word...sincere? Yes, he decided, that was the word. She sounded sincere. The second, she questioned the bag. That wasn't surprising that someone would, if they looked at him, but he hadn't expected to encounter anyone and not for them to ask about it. So turning his head a little to look in her direction, Aurion noticed the last thing. She was human.

Giving her a quick glance up and down in a very mechanical way, noting the clothes. Aurion spat on the sidewalk, not too far from her feet, growled a bit more at her before speaking. His voice low and gravely, "I thought whoring was illegal here. Leave human, before I get hungry."

Getting closer to the large man, it was apparent to Chrys that he was not a "man" so much as a "creature," which did justify his marvelous height. She guessed the man was a mutant by his green color, but from point-blank range, the green was actually a coat of scales over his body. He was very much like a large, intimidating lizard.

He was so pretty, she wanted to put a collar on him.

With the complete lack of human traits, however, there was not much to prove the lizard-thing was even male. Thankfully, he replied to her compliment with a deep, rough voice, making her more confident with her deduction.

He mentioned whoring. He was the third person she could remember using the word around her that night, which seemed like a weird coincidence. He made a threat that centered around eating her, as if the man-thing needed any more help working his way into her heart.

She considered wrapping herself around his arm, but he seemed ready to do her plenty of harm and it was too early for that. Instead, she just continued at his side at an even, clacky pace. "Oh silly, I'm not a human!" Chrys hoped that he would warm up to her a bit more as a mutant instead of a human. It was normally not part of her normal plans to out herself as a mutant, but tall, dark and reptilian was not normal prey.

"Besides, I'm already hungry," she added in a bedroom voice. Did the thing even have... well, was it possible to seduce a mutant beast? She would have to find out.

Aurion snorted, quite loudly as the woman easily threw off the title of human and outed herself as a mutant. Because that was completely believable. 'Not!' "Oh a mutant whore. Makes you only slightly less than complete trash." He almost said more, almost. His mouth was open, if only slightly, to say more. But a thought struck him. 'What if she really is?...' He didn't like that thought, he felt like being more of a jerk. The words were right there on the tip of his forked tongue. Which flicked out in irritation. "Yeah? Prove it."

'If she is,' Another part of his brain said, 'Then she's just as bad as them..think of how many of'em she's probably been with.'

Then she spoke again, in a modified tone from the first. About being hungry. He looked at her again and wasn't quite sure what she was about. The tone of her voice was different, and he knew it was suppose to mean something. But since that tone had never been used on or around him before, that he could remember at least, he didn't get it.

Thankfully the part of himself that actually did the thinking past his hatred of humans, put the whoring comment he made, the handsome comment she made, and her clothes together and got a pretty good idea of what she wanted.

And Aurion missed a step, stumbling for just a second. That thought did not sit easily with him. The thought of that still brought images to his mind about Allison and had the same effect as it always seemed to, though quite a bit diminished. On the other hand, if she was a fellow mutant...she seemed as if she were willing and offering, which mad his chest thump. If he didn't have the scales, he'd be blushing. As it was, his eyes were just a bit more dilated then normal. With the quickened heartbeat, blood flowed a little quicker in his body, and suddenly Aurion was thankful Allison had suggested he get some pants.

The possibility that she was human came back to him. The effect it had was the same as it would have on a normal guy when a bucket of ice water was dumped on his crotch.

"Then go get a taco if you're hungry." If his voice was a little gruffer, more base, and a little more shaky, it was just the imagination.

He was playing hard to get, but she could have sworn there was a stagger in his step, if for just a moment. She had caught him off guard. With his condition, it was quite possible that women-callers were rare for the big man. That was almost a shame; the bed game was just a silly game she was taught to play, but for other people, it seemed like an important thing. If she was lucky enough to pick her own game, (voodoo doll or possibly doctor,) she could certainly consider playing something nice for his benefit.

If it was a good boy, of course, and that was still far off in the distance.

He called her a mutant whore, which gave the first whoring comment some context. Oh, I'm the whore! The idea made her giggle; daddy would have had the beast killed for a comment like that, but it was silly to her; she was a princess, not a whore.

Being asked to prove her mutant identity was more of a problem. To show her mutation, she would be giving up her ace in the hole. How likely was he to play nice if she told him exactly how she wanted to play with him? It was a last-ditch effort, but she tried to excuse herself with another flirtatious line. "My mutation isn't, how you would say, public friendly."

Maybe it was in her best interest to set up a link, just in case the encounter took a wrong turn too early. "Besides, a taco won't hit the spot. I know a place where you can take a bite of something very yummy." Throwing caution to the wind, she looped her arms around the scaly bicep of her unwilling companion and kissed a scaly patch, touching the tip of her tongue against his surface. It was not the most pleasant taste, but at least she could be happy knowing the connection should be in effect.

"O~h~h~h~ho!" He said with a laugh. "Not public friendly. That's convenient isn't it human. Stop it, just stop it. You're not one of us. But! If I'm wrong, then next time you're in the bedroom, which is probably where your 'mutation' works, why don't you record it 'eh. Then you can play it on the big screens in Times Square. Then I'll believe you and we can try this again."

When she latched onto his arm he jerked away slightly, more out of surprise than anything else. He stared at her for a few moments. He couldn't believe it, what the HELL was she doing?! Aurion couldn't feel the kiss, hell he barely felt the pressure of her arm against his, so he did not have any idea he had just been licked. But he saw it, and that was all he needed.

Twisting sharply, his free arm went after her, hand gripping her around the neck. "Disgusting human!" Aurion added pressure to his grip. "Never touch us!" The pressure increased and he started lifting her up by her neck. His lips peeled back from his teeth completely, showing off all of the exceptionally sharp teeth in his maw. Eyes narrowed as he growled. "Go do your whoring somewhere else." Aurion let go of the woman and stared at her. Willing her to leave him be. He could see that the little display had gotten the attention of people around them, and he wasn't too happy about it.

Chrys was disappointed; the guy (whose name she really had to learn) was adamantly opposing the idea that she was a mutant. He seemed to imply that she should video tape her bed games for the public, which was just silly. Those videos were for special people only!

The man had a much less friendly reaction to her touching him. In a very quick moment, a clawed hand was wrapped tightly around her neck and lifting her off the ground. The pressure against her windpipe left her biting her lip, but the joy she was obtaining from his assault was diminished by a problem: he should have also been feeling the crushing pressure on his throat, and he clearly was not.

There was another threat accompanied by bared teeth, but she was too bothered to get excited. He dropped her back to the ground, and she started to pout. Instead of running off (like he probably wanted,) she stared at him, with frustration painted on her face. "Nothing? You feel totally fine? No... random pain at all?"

It made no sense! She did everything right! Unless...

Those scales! They must have been impervious to her effects like hair or fingernails. That posed a new issue. "No fair! Um, do those scales cover all of your parts?" she asked innocently. Her first thoughts involved his eyelids or possibly his tongue. Maybe she could lure him into a kiss? Because seduction was going great thus far.

"C'mooooon," she wined. "My tongue probably tastes delicious! How about a little taste?" She was willing to ignore the likelihood of losing a chunk of her tongue with her current plan of action. She was being refused, and she ALWAYS got her way!

Aurion's stare of irritation turned into a stare of confusion, which was evident by the slight tilt of his head. He expected her to...well, not scream, but run, or back away and get hit by a car (that would have been good fun), or whimper or something! But she didn't do anything but ask if he felt anything. At first he thought she was asking if he felt bad for rejecting her, or manhandling her and hurting her. But then it dawned on him, "You thought I'd get hurt? ...You expected me to be hurt. From what? What could you do to hurt me."

This really wasn't adding up. Aurion found himself taking a small step away from the obviously psycho, sex crazed woman. Why was she calling his scales unfair? Of course it was unfair. Humans were weak and frail. Did she try to bit him, is that what she had done? If so, she had no idea how to bite. No matter though, she wouldn't have been able to do anything through his scales, maybe it hurt her teeth.

She was very persistent and it confused Aurion. At least until his mind, again the part that did the thinking while he was otherwise occupied, put things together. If she were human, she was a very strange human, but if she were a mutant and she was upset that her kiss/bite/whatever didn't work, and she was focused on him touching her tongue. 'Maybe... What about the pain though?'

He held up his hand to stop her, hopefully. "Hold on, stop." Looking around he saw a man who had obviously just come out of a bar, a little unsteady on his feet. "Comm'ere." When the man looked back at Aurion and blanched. Aurion hopped away from the woman, twisted, leaped and grabbed the man by the neck. "I said, come here!" Turning to the woman, he held the man towards her.

"Last chance before I take your throat. Whatever you tried to do to me, do to him." Aurion wanted to figure this out, wanted to figure out if he had been wrong about her, being a mutant that is, he was still pretty sure she was a little free with those she took to bed. "Why should I have been hurt?" He shook the man a bit with his last words.

The creature was as confused as Chrys was annoyed, which anyone else could have expected to be the other way around, given the circumstances. How was it so hard to convince the towering beast to give her one darn kiss when she could get any stupid human to crawl for her? His stubbornness was not appreciated, but it was also a challenge she would not shy away from.

And speaking of a crawling, stupid humans, the man seemed to summon a drunk one out of fear, (a feat that did not go without her respect.) "Sexy," she mused to herself. Not about the man, who was sadly average.

She was ordered to demonstrate her ability on the man, which posed a new problem: if he knew what she wanted to do to him, would he still play with her? It was not likely. She had to display her power in an appealing way. Well, appealing for someone who was NOT her.

Sighing, she submitted. "Fine, but then I expect you to play with me," she said adamantly. She approached the presented prey, feeling like a hunter being handed a trophy she did not earn. She licked the man's cheek and knew the bond was in place.

Instead of clawing at her skin or sticking a pin in her shoulder, she opted to perform... well, an action that was probably less than appropriate on a public sidewalk. Nonetheless, a purr of pleasure rumbled in her throat, matched by the man, who was feeling the same sensation, despite a lack of exact anatomy.

Chrys rolled her eyes. "See? I just share feelings. It's good private fun." She sidestepped the man and approached the beast, placing a hand on his chest. (Which was pretty much as high as the tiny girl could reach on the towering titan.) "I already had a playmate, but he was so boring compared to you."

She was exerting far more effort than she was used to earning the man's desire. She returned to her purring voice one more time, almost begging, "So was that worth one tiny little kiss?"

Aurion watched her closely, watched as she licked the human's cheek, and saw nothing happen. He was about to become skeptical and annoyed really quick, but was stopped when she started to... With a little cough he took his eyes from her and watched the man. He stared making similar sounds as the woman despite being held by his neck. Aurion had to admit it was something, and that she probably wasn't human, either that or the man was more drunk and horny than he had any right to be, which was possible. Still...

"Shared feelings huh? That, ah, explains that. Also the pain you thought I should have felt?" Aurion looked back in the direction he had come from and guessed where she had come from. He was looking to see if there was anyone around that could have been this 'playmate', not that he actually expected to see anyone, and he didn't. "What happened to him?"

Aurion figured she probably would have gotten a lot further with him if he could feel her hands on him, might have even gotten to him right away with that kiss on his arm, if he could have felt it. "Hgnnnn." He leaned his head down towards her just slightly, but not close enough to reach him even if she stood on a step stool. He then squeezed the man's neck until his tongue stuck out of his mouth. With a flick of his tail he lopped off the tip of the man's tongue. Aurion wanted to know if the 'shared feelings' went both ways or just from her to the person licked.

The creature seemed more apt to believe her mutation, even if he was still skeptical of her. He asked about her discarded prey, which would have been a touchy subject if the beast seemed to have any problem with the pain of humans. For him, it would probably increase her credibility, so there was no harm in honesty. Flatly, she replied, "He was dumb enough to inject himself with a sedative." Seriously. How dumb could a person be?

He caught Chrys off guard, employing a test of his own by cutting the prey's tongue. The inflicted man dropped to the ground screaming, and Chrys also let out a yelp, though hers was equal parts euphoric and painful. She retained her tongue, but the pain receptors were overreacting as though she had not. She could no longer feel any sensation in the tip of her tongue, which would have been more annoying if she was not enjoying her pain.

She still thumped a weak fist on his chest. She did her best to scold him, even if her numb tongue was hindering her speech. "HEY! Tho mean! How am I thuppothed to endoy kithing theeling like I have hath a tongue missing?"

As much as Chrys was not a fan of admitting defeat, it was hard not to consider it. He was too tall for her to sneak a taste of his tongue or eyelid, and he was starting to seem like he'd never agree to play with her. With a disgruntled sigh, she removed her hand from his chest. "Thine. Ethcuse me for thinking you'd like to theel in that thchell of yours." She was pouting, as even the pain of her tongue was starting to transition from a cutting pain to a throbbing pulse. She was starting to wonder if she could carry the unconscious moron in the alley and cut her losses.

Well, Aurion had his answer. And it made him feel a little better than he had been a few moments before. Since he had only been looking from the corner of his eye, he thought he only got the top of it, but apparently, Aurion had taken off a little bit more than the tip of the man's tongue. That bit was currently on the sidewalk in a small puddle. The human was clutching his face and screaming bloody murder. One would think that with all the alcohol in the man's body, and it was surely a lot by the way he had been swerving and staggering, he wouldn't be feeling the loss of his tongue much. That was wrong too apparently.

The woman's own reaction was almost as enjoyable. Her scream, if you could even call it that, wasn't exactly pain filled, nor was she debilitated like the man was. So to Aurion, that said that either she didn't feel things as strongly from the person that was licked, or she had like a natural pain fuse or something that cut off dampened the pain she felt from the other person. Or persons. He wondered how many people she could 'hook' up with. Then realized maybe she did a lot of 'hooking up', and smiled.

The look on her face when she hit his chest was almost cute. He was only able to understand her numbed-tongue speech because he had had such bad speech himself for so long. "You think that's bad? Try not being able to feel anything you touch." He said it with a half chuckle. Aurion almost felt bad for her when she actually pouted. A sigh of his own escaped him as he was about to try to say something when he caught sight of someone from the corner of his eye. Turning he saw a human pressed against a window watching them, she was on her cellphone talking rapidly, even though Aurion couldn't hear here. Spotting more people around the area doing much the same thing with the same expressions on their faces he sighed very heavily.

"Common." Not waiting he made sure the bag was secure on his back before he grabbed her in his arm, pulling her against him, so her mouth was nearly level with his, he turned and jumped. Catching a hold of the building with his hand, he pulled hard, and launched them up a bit more, then caught himself again, then jumped up with both legs. Swinging them over the top of the building, he ran with the girl in his arms away from the street where they had been. "Didn't think you would want to deal with police." He said when they were on the building.


A few buildings away he stopped and set her down. "Sorry. How long will that last?" Pointing to her mouth.

Chrys was ready to turn tail and move on from the impossible situation, when an even more impossible result arose: the large being seemed to warm up to her! Apparently it took losing all feeling in her tongue and giving him her sad pouting face, but it was success nonetheless! (She should have thought of the pouty face earlier; it was the easiest way to get what she wanted from her mother and father, after all.)

Before she could react, she was scooped up into the strong arm of the beast-man and he whisked her away through the air, reminding her of how impressive a physical specimen he was. Her mouth was almost level with his, and the thought of sneaking a taste of his tongue popped into her head, but she had already done a lot to earn his trust, so being sneaky could just result in him dropping her from several stories in the air.

He placed Chrys down on the roof and cited the police as the reason for their quick escape. "Oh right, them! Thank you. Daddy would have been tho croth with me if he had to clean up thome more of my trouble." Not that there would not be more trouble on the horizon, she was sure.

He asked about her tongue, and she poked the tip, feeling a dull sensation that signified the slow return to true sensation. "He'th out of range, tho it's getting better." It would have been a real bother to permanently be without the ability to taste or feel kisses like, well, that bleeding guy far down on the street. "I'm Crythanthemum, by the way." Even with her 'S'es impaired, her name was still clear enough.

Now that they were in a secluded, well, rooftop, Chrys approached the tall being and twirled a ragged tuft of hair from his scraggly beard around her finger, and even that feat required Chrys standing on tiptoes. "Tho, have I earned a kissth by now?" If she could get one good taste of him, there was so much fun to be had! He would get to feel the sensation of touched skin, and she would get to play with his sharp claws and teeth!

Some of what she said was more difficult to understand than others, not so much because of the slurring, but due to his lack of familiarity to the phrase. He was sure she her dad would be 'so cross' with her. He couldn't remember anyone using 'cross' in that way except his grandmother, or was it one of his teachers? It didn't matter. What did matter is that this wouldn't have been the first time she'd been in trouble, and not the first time her dad would have fixed it for her. Which meant she, or her family, had money, or influence and power, or all three.

'And she acts like this because she's never had to have responsibilities and take care of herself.' Thought Aurion, a little unkindly.

He also learned that there was a range to the hook up, or whatever it actually was. Wondering how far the range was, he looked back in that direction. They were easily at least half a block away. A glance around them and up told him that they could still be found if the police bothered to use a chopper to look for them. Chrysanthemum, that was her name apparently. It sounded familiar, not in a 'I think I know someone with that name.' sort of way, more of a 'I know that word, but I can't place it' way. "Aurion." He said still glancing about a little.

She might look a little odd being on top of a building, but beyond that she didn't seem too suspicious. Aurion though...yeah, dead give away. He would like to get somewhere not so exposed.

Aurion put a knuckle to her lips. "Eh, tell me why you're so set on kissing. Besides wanting to do a twisted version of a Vulcan mind meld." Why does Aurion know about that? Because even as a kid he thought Star Trek was awesome! Dare you to tell him it's not. The finger wrapped in his beard reminded him he needed to get around to getting rid of it.
