Michael roused up, his vision blurred but clearing as he woke up. The remnants of a dream ran through his head. It was a strange dream, he was a soldier or something, like a special forces guy or something. The memory of the dream was fading though.
He looked around the room, this wasn't his room. This was not a room he recognized in the least. Not only that, there was heat on his back so he turned to find a woman with dirty blond hair behind him. He had no idea who she was, she was hot though. He sat up and looked around the room, he didn't recognize anything here. He slid out of bed, his heart rate accelerating. He didn't know where he was, who this woman was... Why there was a gun laying around.
He started to walk toward it when his underwear started falling off. He caught it and looked down, it was way too big for him. Why was he wearing what looked like it could have been his dad's underwear? What the hell was going on? He ran his free hand through his short hair and tried to figure out what was going on.
His panicked brain came up with nothing. He looked around for some clothes that might fit, everything looked too big and/or was for girls. That being unsuccessful he found a short flight of stairs leading down and made his way into the main floor of the apartment he was in. He made his way to a window, looked outside, and saw the city. Some city. What city was this? He had never seen a city that looked like this.
So he was in a strange apartment, in a strange city, with a strange woman. He had been kidnapped! Yet a mistake had been made. He went back up the stairs and found the black pistol he had seen earlier. Grabbing it he fumbled with it a little, he had only ever used a shotgun before, and pulled back the slide to see if it was loaded. There was a loud series of clicks, a cartridge of .357 Sig was ejected hitting the wall, and Michael searched the gun for a safety, of which there was none, oblivious to his surroundings.
The mountain of blankets shifted. The aforementioned 'hot woman' rolled onto her back. Her arms stretched over her head as she spent a moment waking up. Michael was making sounds. He was up. Probably making breakfast. Or taking a shower.
She'd come in late the night before. He'd been sleeping, so she'd climbed into bed. Had not thought much about anything. Busy day. She'd been exhausted.
Her eyes were still closed. Morning light streamed through the crack between the partition wall and the living room with the big windows that overlooked the city. The sun was warm. Nice. She stretched some more and took it in.
She was still stretching when Michael came back. Her ears caught the familiar sound of a cartridge ejecting. She didn't think anything of it. Lenna trusted him enough to let him stay around her and keep his gun. He was an adult. He could handle his toys. Again, she thought nothing much of anything as she stretched there, in her bed, blankets bunched around her waist, upper body visible. Thought nothing at all. Of anything strange.
It was worth noting, Lenna slept in the nude.
"Morning..." She smiled sleepily, still letting her mind wake up.
Michael heard the woman say morning and he looked up from the gun, bringing it to bear against who was obviously his kidnapper. Only she lay there, smiling, breasts bared.
He dropped the gun in surprise, it fell, hit the floor, and bounced off away from him nothing setting it off. He didn't notice that, his eyes were glued to the the exposed chest. It was the first time he had ever seen bare breasts, they were beautiful! His mouth hung open and his eyes wide, clearly he wasn't kidnapped merely died and gone to heaven.
Only now did she open her eyes. The next second was a blur of motion. She got a handgun from somewhere and drew it on him. She was a woman of few words in this situation. A dire change from the status quo.
"Who the hell are you!?"
What else was she supposed to say? There was a teenage boy in barely anything standing shocked straight in her bedroom, and he'd been holding a gun.
Her eyes narrowed down the firearm, focusing on his face.
The woman moved, fast, and before Michael could realize what was happening there was a gun pointed at him. He forgot all about the boobs and stared at the gun, backing up as far as he could as the woman demanded to know who he was.
"M-Mi-Michael." He managed to stammer out as his heart raced. "Michael Hunter."
Maybe she didn't kidnap him if she didn't know who he was, or maybe she'd been kidnapped too! Wait, that didn't make sense she had a gun. What was going on‽ Why was he here, why was he wearing underwear that didn't fit, why did this woman have no idea who he was if they were in the same bed this morning, why were they in the same bed, where was he, was there food here, where his parents looking for him? These were all questions in his head.
"Don't shoot!" He covered his face with his hands, then brought one down to catch the underwear before it slid off.
Lenna sneered in disbelief. "Shut up. Michael Hunter is all man, Junior. And he certainly doesn't need help keeping his--" pants on. She stopped mid-sentence. The gun lowered a fraction of an inch.
Wait. Hadn't they gone through something like this before?
Oh, god dammit. Mutants. Why did they constantly have to mess with her life?
She was utterly humorless when she said "I think someone turned you into a kid."
The woman didn't believe him, apparently she knew someone else with his name and that meant he couldn't be who he was. Which is completely silly, multiple people can have the same name. Though he wasn't about to interrupt someone with a gun to point that out. Yet, maybe he wouldn't have to, she stopped speaking. Michael uncovered his eyes to see the gun lowered slightly.
Then she said that she thought someone had turned him into a kid. What a dumb thing to say, he'd always been a kid. He'd always been a kid and even were he to have been an adult how could someone make him a kid again. "But I..I've always been a kid. I think someone jus' kidnapped me an' stuck me here... Where's here anyway, U-ston?"
"New York. 2012. The future, according to you. I'm Lenna. And I nullify mutants. You're a mutant. But obviously, whatever mutant's power affected you I haven't stopped. I must not have noticed when I crawled into bed last night."
Yeah. This all made perfect sense. Which pissed her off. Also, he was young. Real young. And she had a gun trained on him, and was in the nude.
Dammit.
"Turn around and digest all of that." She muttered. She kept her gun on her as she scooped up the sheets and unceremoniously bundled herself up. She needed to get some clothes out of drawers...
Michael said nothing, he just did as she said and turned around. This woman, Lenna was saying impossible things, nonsense even. Sure it neatly encompassed the situation better than anything he could come up with, but come on it was absolutely bizarre and still farfetched.
Eventually he worked through what she had said and commented, "I'm a mutant... an' a yankee now?" Being a mutant could be cool, but a yankee... this must be a nightmare.
There was the sound of a sheet dropping. With her back to him, Lenna began to get dressed.

"This is New York. But you're still a Texas boy, through and through." She said. Then added. "Your power... lets you lift heavy things and run fast." At least, that's what she'd gotten from every time she'd watched the man use his powers from a distance. She hadn't really dug too deeply about what he could do. She'd always trusted him to know his skills, and be skilled enough to keep up.
"I don't have any powers." She continued, voice muffled. As she pulled on a red turtleneck sweater over a black top. "They just don't work around me."
Zip.
Lenna turned back towards him in her sweater and jeans. She frowned, crossing her arms over her stomach. "I wish I knew why you were like this... that's twice someone's entirely changed you with their power... starting to become a thing, huh." Her tone was utterly humorless.
So he lives in New York, but isn't a yankee, but why does he live in New York? Michael viewed New York as just some land of crazy people, why would he ever move there? And he has the power to lift heavy objects and run fast, which sounds really lame. Why couldn't he do cool things like shoot laser beams or blow things up. Though, it seems Lenna was even worse off, she just made it so other people couldn't do cool stuff.
"Twice? What happened before?" Michael kept looking at the wall, he had been cold since he woke up but it wasn't much of an issue while he had been panicking. Now that he had calmed down he was aware of it. "Are there any clothes of mine here somewhere? It's cold." As far as Michael was concerned he'd just gone to bed when it was almost 90 degrees outside and now it was closer to 60.
"How is that even..." He stopped himself, apparently he was actually an adult turned back into a kid so brain swapping with someone isn't too out of the realm of possibilities anymore. "So I was some chick... and we... that's just gross, really gross!" He didn't want to even think about that, being a woman and doing it with... himself, too freaky.
And clothes in the closet and drawers. He turned around when she said it was decent and looked for said closet and drawers. He held up the monstrous boxers as he made his way to the closet, looked around in it and then the drawers. Everything was too big for him, just a matter of the degree. The male clothes could fit nearly two of him and the smaller clothes were women's clothes and that wasn't happening. "Um... Am I some kind of gorilla or somethin'? These clothes are at least twice my size!"

"You're telling me," She practically rolled her eyes. "She's also my boss. And it was apparently your first time. So that conversation was fun. With you crying. But it's okay, because I guess we're even. Anyways."
She slid a holster over her shoulder and slipped her gun in it, then pulled on a brown leather jacket to cover the rig up.
Lenna sighed.
"I guess we can go shopping for you. Probably won't have to fry security cameras this time, at least. Jesus." She jumped onto another realization and started beating its face in. "People are going to think I'm your mother..." Or some kind of aunt. "Ew."
This was just getting to weird, not only had he had sex while being some woman, who happened to be Lenna's boss, but it had been his first time to have sex. And he cried? Michael let the conversation drop, it was just too awkward to draw out.
"Frying security cameras? Why... Is that a normal thing?" He looked back at the clothes that belong to his gorilla sized self, sifting around for a moment. He looked back when Lenna mentioned people thinking she was his mother. He cocked his head slightly and studied her. "I don' know. You look a little young t' be my mom." His own mom was fairly young, having had him while in college but Lenna looked younger still, somewhere in her later twenties but not her early thirties surly. Sure, he had heard about some women having kids when they were super young, but he had never actually seen that before.
He grabbed one of his adult aged shirts and held it. It would fit like one of those guys in Bryan who always wear shirts so large they look like dresses. The same guys that then wear their pants at their knees. Speaking of which, a pair of shorts would not be able to stay at his waist without a piece of rope. The belts all seemed to be much too big, having holes nowhere near where they were needed. Not to mention the fact he could nearly fit both feet in one of his boots. Which for the fun of it he tried to accomplish. "People may be a little more concerned with why I'm wearin' clothes that nowhere near fit than if your my mom. Or think your just a cheapskate mom or somethin' I guess."
