The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The artist in all her splendor was slightly perturbed when she heard a slam echo throughout the once busy business establishment. It would seem to her that the person that entered ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Typically, the mistress of darkness would kill someone for interrupting her painting, however today she was feeling oddly cordial. Pale white fingers gripped the painting pallete in her hand softly, lowering it before she lay it on the ground. Sapphire smiled softly at her visitor and moved her easel to face them, showing them a mirror of the scene before her with her own more eerie twist to it if that was even possible.
“I call it, ‘The Rest for the Wicked.’ A true masterpiece really and all I had to do was to go out to do my job to paint such a wonderful piece of art.” Sapphire told the man at the door her Icy blue eyes staring at him
Artist's block is truly a terrible thing especially if you are an exceptionally gifted artist who often uses the money to buy food in the down time of their other job. It would seem that the assassination business was not particularly good at the moment so the ‘starving artist’ would have to find another way to express their artistic talent. This artist in particular had heard that there was a man with a particularly large bounty on his head, dead or alive. So after tracking him for weeks the young woman found out the perfect way to solve her money problems as well as her artistic block.
She had come across the bar at the edge of some small town where all the big bad biker gangs would hang out and ‘shoot the shit’ as they called it. At this point Sapphire decided that these bikers as well as her target would be a perfect scenery for what she was going to paint. She allowed darkness to flow from her hands into the doorway and then she waited. Suddenly satisfying screams of pain echoed throughout the entire bar as well as the satisfying gurgles of blood. It filled the artist with great joy that the perfect scenery would be set for a wonderful painting.
After at least fifteen minutes or so Sapphire entered the bar laughing a little to herself as she saw the scene before her which was splattered with blood, but no bodies where in sight. Sapphire smiled to herself, grateful for her powers being able to rid her of the messy process of cleaning up the bodies. It was at this point Sapphire began to set up her easel and paints, right in the center of the room where she could get the full picture of what she had done. A contented sigh escaped her lips as she sat on her stool and began to paint, drinking the rum she had retrieved from the bar earlier.
“Ah, how can things get any better than this?” Sapphire asked

The young woman smiled at Naveed gently, luckily there was no predatory glint in it so that was always a good thing, that meant she wasn’t gonna kill him. In a sense this was a very good think for him unless he wanted to sink into the ground because of his awkwardness around her. Not that Sapphire minded though, she enjoyed his smoldering gaze but it seemed that she much more enjoyed the fact that he seemed a bit flabbergasted around her. He was probably just inexperienced talking to women so Sapphire wouldn’t hold that against him. She was truly glad that he was here, happy to have a ‘friend’ around after all this time. Needless to say Sapphire didn’t exactly have friends to often visiting her artwork, it was truly a nice gesture in her own opinion.
“Happy? I wouldn’t say that necessarily Im doing as well as one might think of for a strange one like myself. It’s sometimes hard finding people to buy items from a mutant like me. But I get by, how about you have you been doing anything interesting lately? How is your sister doing?”
There was a pause as Sapphire thought for a moment for the perfect words to say, the smile on her face turning into a slightly evil one. The female got rather close to Naveed, that evil smiled placed upon those pale features of hers blue eyes glinting with mischief.
“Oh by the way I heard that last part about me being pretty, very sweet of you.” Sapphire told him, kissing him gently on the cheek almost teasingly, pulling away to look at her paintings.

Sapphire listened to the potential customer walk over to the area where there was much more light and continued painting. However, when she heard the clearing of the throat, a strange sense of familiarity enveloped her. She had heard that gruff throat clearing before and before she could stop herself she turned her gaze over to the source of the sound. A small, smile crept across her face when she saw him, her brush still in hand. The normally stoic female had not seen Naveed in a long time and in her opinion, he still had a certain air about him that made her somewhat attracted to him. Perhaps it was the darkness she sensed inside his heart, greater than that of other people around her or maybe it was just the fact that she genuinely liked the way he was, ether way she seemed relatively happy to see him.
Sapphire smiled and put her brush down onto her easel glancing for a brief moment at the picture with the eyes before rolling her own, it was an odd piece but like all of her pieces it could make you think if you looked at it a different way. Her art was mainly for those that were open minded to the things around them, not close minded like most people seemed to be. The Darkness Mistress walked over to Naveed slowly, that same smile upon her lips.
”Long Time no see Naveed,” her lips formed into a slight pout. “Why Havent you come see me before?”

It had been an unusually quite day today in New York City, there were no distant sounds of sirens or anything ricocheting down the constantly echoing buildings of the city. This day seemed quite though, a perfect day for people to continue on with their work, whatever it may be. For some people it was typing up business reports, others it was making long reports for their deadline, but for Sapphire, it was painting in a small local studio in downtown New York. Sapphire had always enjoyed painting but the fact that she was now getting paid for her pieces of art gave her extra incentive to do better at her passion.
Sapphire smiled a little to herself as she painted one of the several eyes upon her canvas, allowing herself to get rather wrapped up into her painting. It was rather odd however to see Sapphire…somewhat happy, and it would seem that for a brief moment that Normal Sapphire was in control seeming absolutely ecstatic about it. This gave the young woman time to think to learn and to paint really eerie looking eyeballs without any disturbances.
The black haired woman’s blue eyes focused on her art a she swayed back and forth, not even loosing her concentration on the brush or her multiple colored eyes on the canvas as she did so. The mistress of darkness was a very complex and focused woman and for now she wanted to finish this piece so she could paint another one. The female heard a ringing noise and realized that her bliss would soon be cut short by someone entering the art studio, she inwardly cursed herself for wanting to come in on the day that everyone was off, but it was more happy painting time for her so she didn’t exactly care. Sapphire was determined to ignore this customer unless they wanted to buy one of the paintings, then she would act accordingly but the skinny white dressed clad pale woman wouldn’t budge till then.
Oddly enough though Sapphire had an odd strain of elegance to her paintings that not many ‘dark’ painters had. It was almost as if each one had a certain spark that showed some other feeling besides the darkness of the human soul, one may find it in a random brighter colored splotch on the painting or perhaps a figure with brightly colored hair running across the hills in the background. But It should be know that despite all the darkness that lurked inside Sapphire Lupin there was plenty of light and joy deep inside of her that could be brought out, by the right person even if they weren’t part of her family.

“As you wish.” Sapphire replied, her tone of voice slightly playful, as if she was having fun which she was. The Sapphire Roland was talking to was indeed Dark Sapphire, the Sapphire which was controlled by the darkness of her powers. There was in fact two Sapphires one evil, another not as evil but still had dark tendancies. It was really a twisted tangle this girl wove into this world making it often difficult for those around her.
Sapphire sank into the darkness once again before reappearing before the final guard, smiling like she knew a secret and he didn’t. A small laugh escaped her lips, making her sound almost like a child, her face hardly moving that cold stare from him. When the male finally turned around it was far to late for running or begging or pleading. All of which is what he did, he was simply a dead man walking as soon as the assasain set her eyes upon his body. He screamed horribly as the dark teddrils ripped into his body and as he heard the horrifying laughter of his tormentor. To an onlooker it looked as if this male had been inpaled upon by thousands of black shards of glass and was being torn apart slowly, which was basically what was happening here. When he did eventually stopped moving, screaming, begging for mercy because of some family he had, something…changed in Sapphire’s dark eyes, blue slowly filled them as well as remorse and sadness. She back away from his torn corpse slowly, allowing it to fade into the darkness. She teleported back over to Roland, glancing up at him with solem eyes.
”Please tell me we can go now.” Sapphire told him her voice, much softer than before, it also was higher in pitch as well, almost as if it were a totally different person talking to him.
Sapphire had been watching Roland for a little while now and she had slowly started to get bored. She was about ready to go and kill the rest of the guards when lovely Roland informed her that they were coming this way. The 22 year old clapped her hands together gleefully, but the expression wasn’t shown upon her face. The young woman sunk into a portal of darkness and eventually reappeared behind the men that were rushing to see what was wrong. Instead of her usual maiming techninique she decided to mix it up a little bit by simply making a dark portal appear beneath the males and made them disappear inside. When that was done with Sapphire preceded to use her darkness powers to take the truk and brought it around to the other trucks loading bay.
“Is the mission over yet?” She asked, sounding bored in the com link. “This is just too easy.”
Well Roland would be right on his assumption that his partner was about to create a distraction for the units below. A large burly man walked up to the sleepy guard, hitting him on the shoulder with a slap. The larger male seemed mindless and almost soulless as he stared at the guard for a moment before he was…sliced in half by a neat dark tendril that pierced his forehead and sliced neatly down the middle. At this point, the guard’s mouth dropped open and he screamed, alerting however many guards. The tendrils of darkness erupted from the ground and preceded to beat the man with the dead mans body, flinging him up against a nearby wall with the remains ontop of him.
Suddenly, next to Roland, a skinny pale female arouse from the ground, her dark black hair tied neatly back into a ponytail that fell upon her shoulders. The young woman was wearing a slim fitting jumpsuit over her already skinny form as she walked leaned her head on her hand with a bored yawn. Her bluish black eyes focused on him with a small smile.
“So the man outside should be in shock for a while and the men will assume he murdered that man so they will be distracted for a while.” Sapphire told him with a smile.
Within monodragon labs many mutants seemed to be receiving treatment for their ailments due to the recent escape from the labs. Some of the doctors worked rather nonchalantly as if nothing had happened to these people that was in any way traumatic. Other men and women of the medical field made sure to take special care of those who had been in these conditions. However, if one was in the first of the two choices they would be easily persuaded to take special care of these patients, especially if they were threatened by knife point by a intolerable, multiple personalities, psycho path with a younger sibling.
Currently, Sapphire Lupin stood above the bed of her younger sibling, watching the heart meter over on the side beep with her steady heartbeat. Sapphire had been rather infuriated just a few days ago when she had come in, trying to get help for her malnourished and injured sister. Instead she had a doctor who had acted like nothing had happened and that Ruby was coming in for a daily check up. Ruby had even started crying at one point when he brought out the IV needle and this was when Sapphire preceded to slash his chest with one of her dark tendrils and then threaten to cut off his balls if he wasn’t gentler and nicer to the victim of a great tragedy. With his horrified look as agreement, he had treated the fox girl much nicer.
The Dingo woman watched as the little girl slept soundly beneath the wool blanket and quilt she had gotten her. Ruby was malnourished, she had some infected wounds as well, making her body ache more and finally, she had come down with the flu which she had just gotten over today. She looked a lot better than when she first came in, so that was a sign of progress. Sapphire couldn’t help but smile slightly when Ruby cuddled her stuffed bunny in her slumber. It was odd for most people to see Sapphire care this much for another living being but this was her sister, her baby sister who never did anything wrong. If Sapphire could pick her top reason for living, it would be to keep her family safe…in a way she honestly believed was the best.
Sapphire finally sat down on the chair next to Ruby’s bed, the smile still on her face. She then gently clasped the little girls hand, still smiling as she held it.
“You will be safe Ruby…I promise.” She said to herself moreso than the fox girl.
However, Sapphire has broken that promise many times before so there was no telling how long this one would last.
Upon the battlefield that was the camps, the various mutants that fought were either members of the camps or members of the resistance, all having their own self deluded reasons for the cause they were fighting for. However, In a sense all of this fighting could be self deluded, though not all people though this.
In a sense this was how many people thought, well except for some people. One of these people just happened to be outside of the camps, watching waiting in the underbrush for the hysteria to begin. The Figure watched very casually as the Resistance took out the groups of stalkers and broke into the camps , the mass escape already beginning and it stayed in the background, not moving an inch. It had arrived during the air drop and stayed perfectly hidden until the time was right.
Once the mass amount of people began flooding from the camp gates, wether it be inmates or fleeing guards, this was the figures cue to iniate its plan. Slowly, the figure sank down into the ground, disappearing completely in what it seemed to be a swirling black substance.
Within the warden’s office was where the figure reappeared but it was not shrouded by darkness any longer, the figure was the eldest Lupin sister, Sapphire. The Pale young woman could have been apart of this massive, escape with heroic triumphant of saving the innocent lives of thousands of mutants who didn’t deserve to be in these accursed camps in the first place. She could have actually helped the organization that she had just joined by helping with this planed.
‘I could help but quite frankly I don’t give a Fuck’ Sapphire Thought to herself as she walked towards the desk, slowly and deliberately eyeing the computer on it.
Sapphire, really did not care for anyone in these camps except for her sisters. The Dingo woman always tried to do what she believed was best for them, even if they did not know it yet, they would always be happy in the end they had to be. Besides, big sister always knows whats best for her baby sisters.
Saph glanced at the computer on the desk and then all at once a dark aura covered it, making it disappear. She then glanced at the various papers in the room and then one by one, they all disappeared. When her work was done, she heard a vague crackling on the earpiece she wore and she pressed one hand up against it, trying to get a better signal.
“Sapphire, my dear girl, thank you so much for sending me what I needed.” A deep voice told her crystal clearly.
“Thank you sir, so you got all you needed? I can send more if you like.” She responded obediently.
“No, No, I have all I need here, thank you.” The voice responded gratefully.
“I’m glad I could help sir.” “Oh and Sapphire?”
”Yes Sir?”
“Let’s not Mention any of this to anyone all right? Lets keep this our little secret.”
”As Always sir, I am forever and loyal to your words.”
”That’s a good girl.”
The link was cut off and Sapphire was just about ready to teleport out of the warden’s office to go find her sisters when she heard a rather large crackling noise, followed by a yell of pain. Sapphire could not help to be intrigued by this noise and went stealthily out into the hallways to see what it was. The Darkness user once again had to observe her surroundings before she went on a full on attack.
Sapphire watched as a guard ran full force at none other than Ruby, her baby sister, however just as Sapphire started to attack a bolt of Electricity erupted from Ruby’s unclasped fingertips hitting the guard with startling accuracy. The man froze, letting out only a strangled cry before collapsing, unmoving on the floor. The older girl then took time to notice that all around Ruby were bodies of men who seemed to be frozen, or at least, paralyzed by the electricity they had been shocked with. This made her carefully walk over towards Ruby, watching as the rather worn out looking fox girl spring into action again, not an action of attack but one of pure joy. Ruby ran full force at her older sister, leaping into Sapphire’s now open arms and hugged her tightly.
“SAPPHY! SAPPHY YOU”RE OKAY!” She exclaimed, hugging her older sister happily.
Sapphire was surprised by this sudden outburst of pure and sudden joy, but she went with it, holding Ruby gently, yet delicately, afraid to hurt some of her aggravated wounds. She felt tears dribble onto her shirt and looked down only to see Ruby, crying her little eyes out. The Dingo woman listened as Ruby managed to sob out a shortened story of what had been going on in these camps, which was basically almost as atrocious as what happened ot the girls in the labs. Almost, being the key word here, Sapphire still didn’t believe that this place could hold a candle to what Fusionist could do to them, but the mental scaring still happened and she was going to make sure that nothing else would happen to her sisters.
At that moment Sapphire’s sentries or as she liked to call them ‘darkness viewfinders’ that she had posted outside of this area began to go off and she saw what was running towards the part of the camps, 2 guards, seemingly fleeing from something. What they did not realize though is that they were coming right around the time where sweet revenge would take place.
Without alerting Ruby in any way, the darkness girl used a few darkness tendrils to take care of the boys outside, first by catching them, then by pinning them down by each of their limbs which just happened to be impaled by her lovely tendrils and then finally by throwing them so far away they would never find their way back. No blood was shed, all was absorbed by the darkness, but if anyone ever found the bodies of those two boys there would merely be holes in all of their limbs, but no blood coming from them, making it obvious that they would have died from blood loss.
“Ruby,” Sapphire stated, looking down at the young girl, trying her best to keep her emotions in check. “Where is Emerald?”
Ruby let out a tiny little sob, rubbing her eyes quickly. She wanted to tell her sister where Emerald was but then again she didn’t, not wanting to frighten Sapphire to much. However, Ruby then remembered the fact that Sapphire didn’t frighten very easily so she figured she might as well tell her anyways.
“Emmy…said she had to go do something and told me to find you,” Ruby paused for a moment, looking up at Sapphire’s emotionless face before continuing “She told me to tell you that she will be fine and that she wants us to get to safety and that she would find us when she was done.”
The dingo woman let out a hoarse growl, her mind twisting with bitter memories of what her sister was doing. She knew Emerald would go and get revenge on those who warmed her and her comrades. It was a stupid thing, in the young woman’s Opinion anyway, to kill in a frenzy like manner, but if that was her sisters wish, so be it. Sapphire only could nod as she held Ruby tightly, both sinking into the ground.
“I’m sure she knows what she is doing.” Sapphire told Ruby, reassuring her Frightened face.
Soon, both sisters teleported away, getting to someplace far away from the hellhole someplace loving, someplace….safe.
((Okay thats it for these two lupin sister, the last one will be in a seperate post comming soon))
Sapphire looked over at Hunter irritably when he said that Kaz would be their 'commander'. The dingo woman usually didn't listen to Hunter and it was very likely she would give Kaz the same treatment. Also, the Eldest Lupin sister didn't particularly like the fact she was teamed up with the same boy who injured Emerald extremely badly during KP.
"I don't take orders from anyone." The darkness user stated, narrowing her ice blue eyes
The now twenty three year old took out a bottle of rum from a hole in the floor, well a dark vortex in the floor and began drinking the liquor. She capped it back up when it was a quarter of the way empty and dropped it back into the dark portal, sealing it up.
"If necessary I will teleport everyone out but I got a good Idea for a distraction, why don't I just gut a few humans, spread their entrails all over central park and get the entire city on the look out for me. Unless they have a way to get into a portal of darkness I doubt they will be able to find me. By the time they are sick of looking for one of Fusionists most evil experiments everything should be ready to go." Sapphire explained, sounding a bit too eager on the gutting the humans part.
Sapphire appeared from one of her various dark portals in the floor. She rose up from it, a slightly irritated look on her face. Sapphire wanted to handle the humans on her own but Hunter had already forbidden her from doing so.
"looks like I will have to work together with people." Sapphire muttered to herself as she leaned up against the wall.
((Ehh sucky entrance but thats all I can thinnk of right now))

Sapphire listened in rather noislessly to everyone. She heard the part of the resitance and arched a brow curiously. Now while she normally worked alone the resitance actually sounded like a good Idea.
"If we get to kill humans in this resitance I am in." Sapphire responded

Sapphire rolled her eyes at the doctor, a dark teddrill reaching upwards from the ground, pointing threatnigly at his face. The thing looked as if it was poised to pierce through his skin and kill him. Sapphire the waved her hand and it faded away from the trembling Doctors, face.
"I don't appreciate being told what to do, not by you or by anyone. Even if she doesnt have a voice box I am sure she appreciates being talked to." Sapphire responded coldly.
This showed that the young woman was not in a vary, pleasant mood. Her sisters had been taken in the raid, she tried but failed to prevent them from being taken to the camps. She was cranky and she was willing to take it out on these hair brained doctors.
Sapphire glanced at the name written down and nodded. "Good to see your alive Vibe, the name is Sapphire Lupin. Want me to kill the doctor? I will if it will make you feel any better."
Now while this sounded like a gesture of friendship it seemed that the dingo woman had full intention of killing the doctor for any reason she was given.
But thats Sapphire for you, crazy and sadistic on the outside but, odlly caring in a freakish kind of way on the inside.

A pool of darkness formed on the floor and out rose Sapphire, but she wasnt exactly in mint condition. The young woman's face was scratched up, her fingers and knees were bruised as well as her arm being in a make shift sling. One of the Doctors who wasnt working on Vibe looked over at Sapphire, almost scoldingly.
"Now Miss Lupin you know you arent supposed to be out of bed, you are still damaged from when you fought off those guards," The woman paused. "I know you where trying to help your sisters by breaking into a swat team residence and mutilating an entire team just ot get answers on thier location but if you die they wont get your help. Please try to listen to reason and rest."
Sapphire glanced at the woman calmly before a Teddril of darkness formed out of the ground and brushed her aside. The twenty two year old walked over to Vibe's bedside scanning the girl to see what was wrong. The first hting was the fact she wasnt with her sister, a thing Sapphire often noticed when she was around town, the two where virtually inseperable.
Oddly enough, right now Sapphire felt as if she was having sympathy for the other girl, actual sympahty for someone who wasnt her sister. Sapphire glanced at them and then back at Vibe with blue eyes filled with odd sympathetic feelings.
"Hey...Umm....you guys need anything? Cause I will go kill someone for it if you need me to." Sapphire stated, "If she can talk tel her to tell me who I can kill to make her feel better."
