The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tristan looked over as Deja leaned against the seat and smiled warmly. He still had his hand ontop off hers so he flipped over her hand and interlassed his fingers with hers.
Tristans hand snatched out and grabbed it before she could touch the dial. "Maybe not after that lil experiance at the park, really don't think thats a good idea." He brought Deja's hand back to the middle of the seat but didn't let go. He liked her alot and was seriously considering moving back to the mansion, just for her.
Tristan made an 'ooofff' noise like he had been hit in the gut. "That was a low blow darlin, a low blow." Tristan thought for a second. He did remember when he first came to the mansion that they said he could learn control there, alot better then practicincg in the park. And the main part was he could se Deja, ALOT.
Tristan hung his head as Deja pulled back to her seat. "Aw dam, do we have to go back," He said playfully as he started up the car. He shirfted the car into drive and headed down the street. "We we're havin alota fun too," Tristan looked over to Deja playfully.
Tristan blinked as she spoke and looked as the kids passed, "Oh right," Tristan mummbled as he pushed off the car and stood straight. He watched as the little kids walked past and climbbed into the front seat of the car and glanced at the clock, it was 6:00 and was starting to get late, he hadn't realised how quickly the time had passed.
Tristan grinned, "No but i did get the impression. And i like you too." Tristan swooped in for another kiss, he had never really felt close to a girl this fast before.
Tristan smiled charmingly, he hadn't really hung out with a girl since he descovered his powers. "Well i've never really been one to keep an 'Agenda', spontanious has always been my..." Tristan ducked his head forward and met his lips against Deja's.
Tristan smiled bashfully, "Yeah i know but...i just thought i wouldn't fit in there i mean, ya know, everyone there works together so well and...i don't know." Tristan dug at the ground awkwardly. He didn't want to mention how he had froze up when he first fought at the mansion. "Plus what am i gunna do with my shop?"
Tristan bushed as she kissed him on the cheek, "Aw thanks, what was that for?" He asked as they walked back across the street and onto the sidewalk, leaning back against his car. His hand instinctively reached into his pocket for the cigarettes that sat there, then he realized that she didn't like him smoking so he took his hand out of his pocket and looked back to Deja.
Tristan looked at the ice cream guy, "Ugh gimme a peanut butter man, thanks." He said then look at Deja, "I'm just glad you said yes," He chuckled, "And its fine that it didn't work out, not like we had anything to do with it, but we get to hang out so it's ok." Tristan gave Deja a big smile. She was so beautiful.
Tristan sulked as they walked back to the car, his father had thought different about Tristan's powers, he had always told him he was different and would never be human. But Tristan learned that they were better then humans, that they deserved to be superior. Then Deja got happy again mentioning wanting ice cream. So Tristan ducked into the car and grabbed his wallet from the glove box, "Sure why not," Tristan said giving Deja a smile as he placed his hand on the small of her back guiding them across the street.
Tristan looked down into Deja's eyes and his face went back to normal. The pebble by his feet fell as he gently squeezed her hand. "Fine for you." Tristan said, then glanced up as the van drove away, "Stupid humans," he mumbled under his breath and he looked back to Deja, "I'm sorry,"
Tristan followed behind Deja nervously, hoping that it wasn't about his and Ted's antics the other day. When they got up to where the crowd was he could just barely see over the crowd of people. Tristan saw the top of an armored car with lights flashing and he thought he saw the word 'Mutant' on it. Tristan muscled his way through the crowd, guiding Deja by her hand. When he reached the yellow tape he stopped and looked into the feild. There was the armored car, the words 'Mutant Control' was written along the side, he quickly looked out into the feild to see two men being put into the truck, one of them had flames scourching the ground from his hands that were bound by cuffs. The other was built like an elephant, literally he had a trunk and everything, and the officers we're having a rough time putting them into the truck. Tristans eyes narrowed and his face twisted into a snarle, he knew it, he knew these stupid humans would do this. Try to control them just because they were different. Tristans fist clenched and a small pebble at his feet started to lift into the air. He didn't care if he exposed himself these humans had to pay.
Tristan laughed and looked at Deja, "What." Tristan then looked and saw what she was looking at. "Yeah thats it but why is it so full." He pulled the car to the curb across the street. He killed the engine and got out going to the other side and opening Deja's door. He looked puzzledly at the park, why where there so many people. In the corner of his eye he saw a news van.
Tristan laughed at Deja's anttics as he drove down the street, well over the speed limit. He rushed through the street as he always did, weaving in and out of differnet cars. He couldn't help but get the occasiounal glance at the beautiful girl sitting next to him.
