The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“Is that a telephone booth?” James asked.
Rupert glanced up briefly from his notes to look back at the fight. “Yes.”
“Huh.”
Rupert went back to his notes. “So Mister… I’m sorry, what did you say your name was again? If you could get that license plate number to me, that would definitely help us catch these people.” He quickly scribbled his telephone number at the station onto a piece of paper, tore it out, and offered it to the guy. “May I get your cousin’s name, as well? I’d like to interview him when all this is said and done.” Frankly, Red had been known to BS the NYPD before; back when he’d had those two brawls in one day, he’d spouted out something about ridding the world of evil mutants. It had confused the beat officers enough so that Red had been able to get away without any physical confrontation, so it was just as well. But Rupert would like to confirm this guy’s story. He winced when the big mutie asked where “number 3” was. “A casualty. And there’s no backup to call off; everyone else should be out maintaining the barricade, keeping people from wandering into this. We’re just—” He didn’t even know how to begin to describe what James and he were. Stupid, to put it mildly and concisely. Suicidal, to say the same thing using more letters.
Fortunately, he was saved answering by the long, utterly inhuman howl that pierced the air. James and he both jumped. And James, trying to make himself into a certified genius, hit the ground running. Rupert lunged for him, catching him in a bear-hug just after he burst out of the alleyway. The scene was in chaos. The multi-armed monster who had crushed Kurt was down for the count; the werewolf was lunging and growling at a pair of badly beaten young women—thankfully, the thing kept right on going without injuring them any further—some people were having a face-off on the stairs, and a cat woman was going crazy fighting a girl with a ribbon.
“I’ve got to get out of here, Rup, I’ve got to—” James was repeating in a voice that had cleared the innocent-observation stage of his shock and was well into panic.
The girl with the ribbon. Her back was to them as she fought. Rupert knew he’d regret it later if he didn’t stay to get a clear look at her face. But frankly, there weren’t enough explicatives in the world for what he was feeling, and he finally felt his self-preservation kick into overdrive. He turned the bear-hug into a shove forward. “Go, James. Go!”
They ran for all they were worth. Rupert had already run four blocks that day; three blocks was just like a barefoot stroll on a glass-covered beach. Easy. Yeah.
((ooc: Thread exited… I’ve got to meet a werewolf about a change: "Emmy's secret spot". ))
(OOC: Because I'm having difficulty getting online everyday, I'm going to have Daria RP with my charrie as well. I'm also going to Mod charries for a little to get the story moving along. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
Tricity frankly had enough of Kaz's mouth. She wanted to fry his ass so badly, he wouldn't be able to talk from being tongue-tied because of convulsions. She weighed the possibilities offered to her and knew they still had a few tricks up their sleeves themselves. It's not like she wanted to fight this arrogant group of mutants. They were being VERY difficult and elusive. As if reading her mind, Daria activated one of her 'special' programs and the effects were near immediate as the strength continued increasing. Members of The Order all began to look around in confusion as the seering pain ran through their heads. Tricity took the opportunity...
Pressing the ear piece down, she ordered all her comrades to rush the door. They were getting inside. As The Order were doubled over in pain that surely wouldn't last too long, Tricity gave a small shock to Oppressor who dropped Fade's body on the stairs. "Daria, grab Emmy and teleport to the steps! Dominic, take care of Fade! Hurry!" The X-Men quickly headed for the building, none of their opposition being able to do much at the moment. They needed to move.
Once everyone was inside, Tricity instinctively locked the doors, nodding for the men to help her put a few obstacles in the way. They quickly pushed a large desk and threw a few chairs in front of the door. Furniture wasn't going to stop The Order and neither was Daria's program. It would wear off any moment. She looked over their faces and saw they were in bad shape. Emerald was struggling with Daria, but Tricity reluctantly gave a large shock to the wolfgirl and knocked her unconscious. "Daria, carry Em... Wire, keep hold of Fade."
"Let's go," she said, quickly jogging down the hallway. "They're obviously not going to let us see Jack which makes me think she's being held here against her will. Not surprisingly... Xavier said he can't pinpoint her location either. They have some type of telepathic block." Turning a corner, Tricity saw a small security area where several television screens showed them different areas of the building. A young girl was seen peeking out of a small window. "There! That's gotta be her. She fits the description Xavier gave. Let's move!" And with that, they hurried down the hall and out of sight.

((sorry I've been missing!!!!)) Daria stood at the steps agitated that Emerald had left. She was debating whether to go after the wolf girl and give her what was coming or to stay where Tricity told her to. With Mike awol Daria was first in command under Tricity and she had to stay put.
Man...Emerald is gonna GET IT she muttered under her breath.
Fade felt herself fall and then be lifted by a familiar face, Wire, the exact same mutant to save her last time as well. As soon as they were far enough away from the crazed Sanctuary leader, they began to rush down the halls after Jack. Finally, they saw where the girl was, well, on camera, that is. Fade slowly wiggled her fingers and her neck. After a few more steps, however, something that she did not intend to do happened. Suddenly, she was no longer in Wire's arms. His arms were outstretched as if she had been in his arms at that moment. With a quick and horrified look, she twisted her head and saw the ground approaching fast, but she didn't hit it.
No, she phased through it, just like what her claws did, except this time it was the whole body that did it. It seemed as though she had phased right into a holding cell with a girl, she couldn't see who before her feet suddenly stopped phasing and she was stuck up-side-down on the ceiling, staring at the girl that now huddled into the corner. It must be Jack. Who else could it be?
"Hello?" Fade asked, attempting to pull herself onto the ceiling and phase through with her claws, but she was unable to phase them and she hung limply again. "Are you Jack?" She asked, the blood rushing to her head and blurring her vision.
"Don't hurt me." The girl said and suddenly Fade fell from the ceiling and hurtled towards the ground before phasing into it and now found her back glued to the inner regions of the floor, staring up at the girl.
"I won't hurt you, I promise." Fade said, straining her eyes to find the girl who had not moved from the corner.
((I do not know the circumstances around her so please be easy on me))

((No worries Fade. Just some info. Jack has been treated very well. Nothing bad has happened to her. She's completely safe at KP. There wouldn't be any reason for her to be scared of anyone. The Order did rescue her from daily testings and such. At KP she's lived a life of no tests, had conversations with Syn. And only been asked to go near the holding cells once. She did have blood drawn once, but that again was done in a nice manner. She'd only be scared of someone popping out of no where and then falling through the ceiling ))
(OOC: Interesting post Fade. Only thing is now that you are so close to Jack your powers will go Haywire and security measusres will soon be put into place once you are spotted in the cell with her, and what Kaz said.)
((Yeah, I figured she wouldn't be treated poorly, so I thought that I would have Fade's uncontrol over her phasing power mixed in with Jack's forced uncontrol would send Fade through the ceiling, in which case, scaring Jack and now Fade is stuck to the ground. I will post security and her body turning invisible and out and all that stuff after another post has been made))
Somehow the X-Men had managed to gain entry to the KP building and sealed the doors behind them. Syn was furious as she wanted to show Tricity that you don't get away with things more than once.
Her big brother soon took center stage as she turned himself and some scrap metal into a battering ram. It took him a couple times but eventually the big red man broke through the doors and whatever was on the other side. The Order members rushed into the building with Syn in the lead. They all knew the X-Men were looking for Jack, but with Syn being the only one able to get near the girl it was best that she went first in case Tricity and her group had managed to let Jack out.
When they caught up to the X-Men Abyss let out his clones as he went after Tricity and the cat woman. Syn noticed where they were and looked at the security monitors. She spotted the girl Dorian had been carrying earlier in the same place as Jack. This should be fun she thought. "I'm going after Jack!"
The girl didn't wait for any commands from Dorian as she raced off to Jack's location. I'm gonna make that X-girl wish she had ever set foot in this building.
In the chaos, Nail stood, utterly confused, as most of his assigned targets fled inside. Looking across the now rather destroyed but mostly clear battlefield, he saw Kaz’s mangled form on the grown, looking quite unconscious. Nail felt his already rapidly beating heart nearly punch through his chest as his pulse shot up even higher. Now was his time to get out of her, time to make his escape. But how, and where? Where would he go, and how would he make it anywhere without getting gunned down or arrested as he fled the facility?
Nail hesitated, not knowing what to do, and knowing full well that know was not the time to hesitate, but to act. His eyes darted across the battlefield, searching, as if some big lit up arrow sign would point the way out. Instead, his eyes fell on the only car the x-men had arrived in, that was not on its side. That would have to be his only way. That would have to work right? Surely these people had an escape plan… right? If they where the person Iris was talking about and they lived up to her standards, they would have some great big exit plan, better than Iris’s. Nail recalled how she had simply blasted her way through and out of the cell area that one day.
Nail was about to bust into the car, but he hesitated again. His cold diamond coated hand touched with a click against his neck, where Kaz had injected him… how long did he have left? Would to be long enough to get help from these people? Nail glanced over to at the unconscious Kaz, and considered the alternative. He doubted Kaz would give him the antidote, even if he was conscious. This would have to be his course of action for now.
Nail dived over to the van, making sure his was away from prying eyes. He rolled underneath it carefully, and had a view of the underside of the car. Just by looking at its well polished underside, Nail could tell this wasn’t a normal van. The bottom side was covered in chromed pipes and strange parts Nails couldn’t recognize, but was fairly certain where expensive. He readjusted himself again, with his stomach on the ground now. He reached up and took hold of what he hoped was the solid framework of the car, and struggled to push his feat against something just as solid. He seemed to have found it after 30 seconds or so, and struggled to lift himself off the ground. He enveloped the areas he was holding on with diamond over his hands and arms, so he was quite solidly attached there, and once he lifted his back to touch the bottom of the van, he melded onto that as well.
Now, he thought he had a good idea of how Hon Solo had felt when he was carbon frozen. He would be staring at the ground the whole time. He just hoped these people where taking their vans with them. That would not be cool if they left it, and effectively him behind. He also hoped these people had some sort of medical people with them, who could treat this poison. If it was anything like Iris’s poison, he should be wracked with pain… about an hour ago… Man they better hurry.
Deathstar followed as the rest of the X-men ram through the doors, She heard Tricity orders, but in her mind she was still worried about her friend Fade. She held her position as Tricity gave them directions, but in the midst of brainstorming Deathstar had an idea. "Hey!, I got an idea, why don't I absorb jack powers so the rest of you can get her out of here with no problem" she rushed it out her mouth while catching her breathe, waiting for a response.
Fade attempted to roll over to see Jack, but the only thing that happed was that suddenly she phased through her gloves and the ground was underneath her. In an attempt to stand, she found that her feet had phased through the ground and her eyes changed colors without blinking. Half of her face suddenly became invisible, well, the skin at least as now muscles showed where her forehead should be.
Her uniform became invisible, but she wasn't naked, in a sense, the skin on her right arm was the only thing that remained as her torso was stripped of her skin and muscles, showing bones and various other locations showed her nerve system and her organs. A violent cough was through from her mouth as she watching in horror while her bones seemed to phase through her legs and now protruded from the muscles.
Another movement as she attempted to get close to the girl, she outstretched her skin covered hand as her hand muscle phased through and the skin hung limply while the muscle continued to stretch towards Jack, trying to get her out. A loud scream from the girl and she passed out cold from fear. Fade attempted to walk to her, but her foot phased through the ground and she fell on the girl, phasing through her partially as her invisibility continued to blink randomly throughout her organs.
A small noise caused the redhead to twitch, someone was coming. Friend or Foe? She had no clue.

((Okay Im gona post this so Computer nerd can put this thing to rest.))
The battle was long and hard between the X men and The order members, the injuries that were sustained were not only physical but mental as well. But in the end the fight came to a draw, though injuries were sustained on the X men side they managed to get to haywire and give her a choice between going with the X men or staying with the order.
Jack chose neither.
The young woman felt unease with being anywhere around mutants or humans so she asked to get a dosage of a Power Inhibitor to inhibit her powers so she may become somewhat normal. She said she would make the choice when ready but for now she needed to learn control so her powers would never hurt another person again.
With all that Said and done the members of the X men who were not unconscious escaped due to the help of a strange mutant who merely called herself Darkdingo,((much to Daria's distaste, due to the fact both women hated each other.)) who managed to get them all back to the mansion.
The order members still felt victorious despite the various Injuries they sustained during battle. The fact that they managed to get the X men to retreat and the fact that Haywire did not go with them was enough for some to have boasting rights. But the more humble members of the Order knew that this would not be the last time they would face the X men in battle, so they knew they would have to be ready.
The X men and the Order now must report to the Infirmaries for treatment of their wounds. But once all of them had been treated and lying in the hospital beds a breaking news flash was on the screen.
The Church of Humanities voice within the Senate, Bob stryker decided to invoke the Mutant Registration act bill to see if it would get approved. Within the hours it was purposed the Senate, the congress and the House of Representatives all approved it unanimously.
Now all that was left for the president to eventually approve it. The mutants and Humans alike waited with Bated breath for what would occur next.
(((Okay This means for when everyone makes a post in the Infirmary they will already be bandaged up and will be discussing the events. X men will post in Iris return home aftermath and Order will post in whatever is the first post in the infirmary.))
