The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fade put her free hand on her hip and displayed a position of attitude. He would have to work to keep her from getting to Jack. "Any mutant that follows your violent means of freedom is no comrade of mine." She snorted back, ignoring the pain in her collar bone and focusing on how best to get around him. If she couldn't fight him, she could run, and that was what she was best at, escaping.
This girl obviously had no idea who she was displaying so much attitude towards.
"Regardless of the means, freedom for our kind is fated to us. Our actions will benefit everyone... even you. However, this pitiful exhibition of defiance will not benefit you in the slightest..."
With that, Dorian pointed at her with his middle and index fingers, and with a slight flick, the girl crumpled to the floor, unable to move. He made his way to her side and kneeled.
"It's true what they say you know, resistance is futile."
The grin on his face broadened to a wicked smile, when he thought he heard yelling from nearby.
Tricity put her foot up on the Second's hip to kick the woman off, but then suddenly felt her weight lifted off. Deathstar was there giving Tricity a hand as the Second went flying across the muddy ground. "You're definitely... an X-Man... as of today...." she said through breaths. Star had some serious issues with her siblings.
The electricity in her body was starting to gather up again so she would be able to send out another attack. These red clones were starting to irritate Tricity. The X-Men were outnumbered due to them. She raised her hands in an attempt to blast the clone closest near Wire, but she couldn't. Something was keeping her from doing it... She shook her head and tried again, but her will was beginning to change. 'What the hell is going on?' Tricity looked over at the Second, Deathstar, and one of the red clones which was looking at her. She was about to potentially be attacked and her power was not activating. 'The Second... What did she do?'

Daria cringed as she swatted one spine out of the way with her tail. She dodged the other but her moves were sloppy with the distraction of two opponents and it grazed her arm, tiny trickles of blood ran down her honey colored skin.
It stung but after being captured and tortured so much, as well as her increased endurance from her mutation, this was nothing to Daria. She cursed herself for being careless in her acrobatics but knew she wouldn't make the same mistake twice as she landed gracefdully on her feet.
She kept her eyes on the still mobile Kaz and the unpredictable Isabel.
Isabel gave a small scowl as her weapons were one again deflected by Daria. It was infuriating that most of her attacks were stopped short, though the thin trickle of blood that dribbled down the woman's arm was somewhat of an encouragement. Apparently Isabel would have to switch over to closer ranged attacks if she were to cause any significant damage to the woman. She cast only a brief glance in Kaz's direction and made up her mind that it would be of no major consequence to her if she didn't back off while he advanced. If he tried to pull the same thing he'd done with Abyss' clone, she'd not hesitate to strike back, but for now her main focus was on the feline.
She skidded slightly as she made her abrupt change in course to head back toward Daria instead of trying to get herself out of the way. So long as Daria had to watch two opponents at once, Isabel figured it would be the opportune moment to strike. Quickly closing the distance between herself and the feline she struck a fist out toward the woman's stomach, more of those mean looking spines jutting from her knuckles, before pulling her arm back again, a spine quickly sliding out at her elbow as she shoved her arm backward, hoping to catch Daria between the ribs just below her shoulder blade, ready to command more, smaller spikes to grow from the spine if it connected with her flesh and tear up her insides.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
While Syn struggled with Tricity she forgot all about her older sister and before she knew it Syn had been yanked off the X-Men leader and sent flying 20 feet. Tumbling and rolling across the ground as she landed Syn tried to keep herself tucked in as much as possible. She had scrapes and gashes on her arms and her pants were torn on the left knee. She heard Deathstar yelling out at her but before either of them coudl do anything one of Abyss' clones intercepted the older sister.
Smiling and not waisting anymore time Syn reached into her cargo pocket and pulled out a dart gun. She aimed at Tricity who seemed to behaving troubles with her powers. Syn hoped taht her own power was the cause. "Need some help Tricity?" she taunted and then pulled the trigger which launched the dart at the woman.
(OOC: Ok no one interfere with the dart. It's been planned out between Tricity, Emerald and myself.)
Fade was about ready to make another retort, something along the lines of...well, honestly she hadn't been given enough times to even make an outline before he pointed at her, some Ghost Rider crud was all that ran through Fade's mind and had he not used his powers on her through that movement, she might have laughed. No, the result of Ghost Rider's pointing caused her to fall to the ground, curled up, completely unable to move. Just watch, watch, watch. It was horrible. She attempted to fight it, tried to move herself, nothing, just watching. She was failing, she was actually failing. In a strong attempt, she tried to turn herself invisible, but her power over her mutation was just as uncontrollable as her power over her body and she resulted to watching, yet again. Staring as close to this man as her head position would allow. Fade had been caught. Fade was failing. Nowhere to go, nothing to do, surely she was done for...but hopefully not.
Now that Sentinel was pretty sure that Kaz could see him, he forced himself to pick a target. He had had the crap kicked out of him already by Kaz. He didn't want that to happen again, espeicially when he was in battle mode. He scanned the chaotic sea of people, he eyes settling on the ones with black outfits with silver X's.
He watched as deathstar forced Syn off of Tricity, and couldn't help but smirk. He couldn't exactly say he liked the little girl who had mocked him and Iris in their cells for weeks. Still, this Tricity chick seemed pretty powerful, and keeping her buisy would probabliy keep casualties down. At least that was Nails thinking. Just as he decided on a target however, he saw Syn pull out a dart gun.
>Maybe I'll wait a little bit and see where this goes befor I get involved.< He thought to himself.
Nail continued to hover outside of the fight. making sure not to be in anyones way until the time was right. Still, he had to force himself to do so. He wanted this to end quickly. He was on a time limit, and if things didn;t end quickly, he'd be six feet under.
When Emerald found herself teleported away from the battle, she muttered a few choice words underneath her breath. She was injuried pretty badly. Her foot was bleeding and she used a second bandana that she always kept in her uniform and to bandage up her foot. She took off the shoe and put pressure on it, trying to stop the bleeding.
The Lupine wasnt that far away from where Tricity and Syn fought but as much as she would like to have helped she couldnt exactly get up. She was hurting and unless something pissed her off enough to turn her into her thrid form she would be out of the battle.
Tricity had suddenly lost the urge to use her mutation, but knew this obviously wasn't right. 'What's going on?' She looked up toward the roof of KP and didn't see the bats or Fade anymore. In fact, the twins had also disappeared. Fade made it inside. 'Which means...' Tricity pressed down her earpiece to relay a message to all her teammates. A sharp pain ran down Tricity's right side from when the Second tackled her. A rib seemed to be broken on top of it all. "We need to push inside. Fade's made it in and we need to back her up so she can find the cells. By any means necessary... Let's go!"
"Need some help, Tricity?" the Second's voice rang out. Tricity turned around to see some type of gun pointed in her direction. She instinctively ducked and fell back down in the mud. The shot had just missed her and went zooming across the field, hitting Emerald square in her chest. "Emerald!" She scrambled to her feet, running over to the wolf girl in fear. Tricity slid in the mud to a stop and looked over Emerald. "Are you all right??"
Emerald let out a dark snarl as Tricity got close to her. Something was very wrong, she had felt the prick of the needle into her chest but since it didnt go deep em figured it wasnt that effective.
That was a deadly mistake.
Emerald let out a groan, feeling her teeth begin to grow longer and her body strarting to buldge and strech. Her body began to get covered with coarse Blackish red fur and she looked at Tricity , hands growing into claw like Paws.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She snarled, pushing her leader away from her.
The Wolf girl began to whrithe about as the change took place, her bones shifting and reshapping craking noises ringing out audiably across the battlefield.
"AHHHHHHHROOOOOOO!" Emerald howled, body shaking with pain
When the change was complete the Lupine female stood on all fours, razor sharp claws, scrapping acros the pavement. Her dakr blue eyes where hazed over in animalistic furry. This had been long expected in her mind but the chemicals from the shot made her more so unable to control her actions than ever before.
The seven foot tall Lupine muzzle turned to Tricity, eyes locking dead on her. She let out a snarl, bearing her large teeth in a twisted smile. The fact that Tricity was close to her made it alot easier to attack.
Emerald didnt move however, she was waiting for Tricity to move, so she could give chase. A chase the monster knew she could win.
Dorian gently reached under the girl's motionless body and picked her up, her eyes were wide with fear. Dorian could only imagine how the leader of the X-Men would react once she saw her limp figure, and for a brief moment he questioned whether this was the best thing to do, the rage that fills you when someone close to you has been taken is a formidible force. Shaking the doubt from his mind he continued to make his way towards the battle being fought.
Once in the hallway, he saw the redheaded twins who recently joined the order, further down he sawy two of Abyss's brothers.
"Come," Dorian commanded, "we are going to have and exhibition of sorts."
Dorian walked on, and after a short period of time found himself looking at the battle from the doorway of the facility. Stepping out into the cold, Dorian raised the girl above his head. The way his hands were positioned on her upper and lower back, the girl's limbs dangled pathetically.
"Now hear this." Dorian began; everybody stopped what they were doing and fixed their eyes upon him, "Leave now, lest you want more of your teammates to end up like this..." Dorian stared with equal intensity at the intruders. "Take this chance while you have it, and I'll consider reviving your friend..."
As Deathstar charged toward Syn, one of Abyss clones grabbed Deathstar holding her from attacking Syn. Deathstar moved vigorously trying release herself from one the clones grasps, she can feel the absorbed power wearing off, she knew then she had to move fast. Syn pulled out a gun of some sort and aimed it at Tricity, "Tricity" She yelled hoping Tric can hear her warning. She somehow got loose from the clones hold of her by slipping in between his arms, using the last bit of superstrength she swung the clone around and slammed him into the cement ground. As moment of impact she notice Emerald body transforming from the missed shot Syn fired. The now ferocious beast had her eyes on Tricity, and it did not look pretty.
"Now hear this."
Deathstar gave the leader of the order her undivided attention, "Take this chance while you have it, and I'll consider reviving your friend..." he says giving the X-men a chice
Dorian steps out holding Fade's limp body over his head, "What did you do to her?" Deathstar yells as emotions seemed to have shifted from syn and onto her friend Fade.

Daria dodged the first punch to her stomach which was still weak from Sapphire's earlier attack. However the one meant to hit between her ribs and shoulderblade landed, and as soon as she recognized the pain, she teleported before more damage could be done. The teleporting was going to be painful soon, as it always was when she was injured.
She appeared behind Isabel and ducked low to sweep a leg under the girl and trip her. As she did so, her own blood darkened the earth. She could smell Kaz and hear him and at the moment that was all she needed.
Still unable to move, Fade watched as he came close to her, putting his hands on her, lifting her. Rage filled her mind but none of her body parts moved. All that she could do was think, think and blind, think of herself punching him in the nose and blink to bring her back to reality. The exit doors, no. It had taken her so much to get inside and now she was back outside, she wasn't even able to control her own movements.
In another act of pissing Fade off, he raised her limp body over his head. Nothing she could do. In false hopes, she wished that one of her dangling legs would sway just enough to kick him in the face, but they did no such thing. Her position was an uncomfortable one, yes, but all that ran through her mind was 'kick him, punch him, ripe his throat out and listen to him try and talk as if he was better than everyone else without a voice box. Do anything to him, everything that could inflict pain.' Still no movements, she was still lifeless, hoping that someone among the X-Men could give her back control, maybe Cassiel! Where was he? She couldn't see anything except for what was right infront of her twisted neck, a wall. Not helpful.
