The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Syn looked at each of the captives and smiled. I can't wait to see what happens when they meet Jack. "Yeah I suppose you're right Kaz. We can let them be for now." She walked back to the entrance area. "Oh hey Kaz. While you're at the mansion if you happen to meet a girl named Deathstar tell her I say hello won't you? That's my older sister, and should your greeting to her be less than cheeful...well, I won't lose any sleep over it if you catch my meaning." The wicked girl giggled softly.

"Sisters?!" Again the question popped out before she could stop it.
Already upset, that statement was enough to move Iris from her passive position. She stood on her knees and placed both hands against the cell wall. She eyed the black-and-red haired woman closely for a few seconds. It wasn't hard to see the similarities between her and Deathstar, now that she knew what to look for.
But Deathstar had never mentioned a sister. Had she? Iris racked her brain, trying to remember. She'd only spent a short time with her, both in training and during the evacuation, but Iris was fairly certain that she'd never mentioned her family. Nor had Iris asked.
Her expression showed a gambit of emotions as her mind tried to make sense of things. The present situation took on a whole new light, and suddenly she felt extremely claustrophobic.
Nail watched Iris's small panic attack at the mentioning of a mansion and a person named Deathstar. This all meant absolutely nothing to him, being completly new in town and never even hearing of Xaviers school at all. He did get worried however, simply because he could see how Iris was worried.
Despite all this, Nail felt totally useless. Locked in a cell, nothing to do, unsure of everything taking place. He needed to do something. Then he got an idea. Not a good idea, but an idea of something to do.
Nail changed the crystal on his hand so that most of i receded into his body. His index finger stayed covered however, and formed a shap point at the end. He then started to sketch into the Plexi-glass, which made a small, scratching noise. Not was he was hoping for. JHe wanted to make these guys regret bringing him here. But aparently Plex-glas didn't make that annoying og a sound.
He carved into the glass a very sketchy sentence directed mostely to Iris:

OOC: Kaz is not here, posting as the security system in the cell room.
With every stroke Nail took in his writing, sparks flew, threatening to become full blown electrical shocks if any more pressure was put into the scratches. The begining of his message began to dissapear as the cell door repaired itself. After a few moments, the message was completely gone, and the door showed no signs of ever being scratched.

Iris bit her lip, and sat back on the floor again. She was still feeling too stiff to really move normally, and her state of mind only added to the overall distress. On top of that she was begining to feel sick to her stomach. Whether that was from stress or just another side effect, she wasn't sure.
She watched Nail etch a message into his cell wall, and watched it disappear as well, but she got the message. She tried to smile, and mouthed "Thank you". But she wasn't sure she could believe him just yet. But she was grateful for the gesture.
Iris took a deep, shaky breath, and scratched at her shoulder, and the blue gem embedded below it. She glanced at the red-and-black haired woman again. Then her eyes moved around the area again. The mostly blank expression was back on her face, but her eyes and brain began working overtime, taking in every detail possible. Like Iara, she was not happy about being caged, and she didn't intend to stay so. Not if she could help it.
The outburst of the word sisters immediately grabbed Syn's attention. She turned and looked back to the cells just in time to see the blonde haired girl turn away. That must've been who blurted out.
Walking over to Iris' cell Syn looked the girl over. She was obviously uneasy and seemed a bit agitated. "What about my sister? Do you know her? Have you seen her?" Syn's voice was low and soft yet had a very serious tone.
Iara leaned against the wall and watched the girl who shocked her trying to talk to the blonde she recognized as Iris from back at the school. So she was Deathstar's sister. Sad that such a nice person could share the same origin as this Puta.
"IRIS! WHASSUP?!?!?"
She called out to her housemate as if they were just walking on the street. Her cheek hurt too much for her to care anymore.
His efforts made him alittle depressed. He watched his own writing disappear in the glass. It was obvious that digging a way out was not possibnle, and if you tried, you'd probably get fried.
"What the f$#@ is this place made out of?"
Plastic like material that had some kind of charge flowing through it, and apparently grew back. The idea boggled his mind, and made him think twice before messing with the cell again. Just what kind of place where they in anyway. Who would actually have this kind of technology available, and use it to kindnap mutants.
"This is some messed up shit..."
It was about this time he heard Iara's wild: 'WHASSUP'. He smiled alittle. and for some reason the gesture inspired him. He answered back in the same way.
"WHAAAASUUUUP!?"
No one in general. He just belted back the question for all to hear. This was certainly one way to waist your time in a cell. And a fun way to piss off the guards.

Mettaliar remained laying down, bored, letting his hair flow back howing his full face. He didn't care. As shy as he was, he had somehow just didn't bother trying to cover his right eye up. They'd probably see it if they killed me anyway. he thought to himself.
He sort of jumped when the two other people shouted "WHAAAAAUUUUUP!?!?!?!?" He chuckled at it and thought about responding to it, but didn't. He then took off his jacket and used it as a improvised pillow and thought about taking a nap.
Hearing her brother's voice Syn looked to see him talking to the feisty girl Syn had brought in. Watching him giver her some keys and wave a hemlet she shook her head in displeasure. You're all action my dear brother. She then turned back to look at iris as she awaited answers from the blonde girl.
"I'll answer your question after you tell me why you gave that one her keys? What if she has something hidden within her key chain? Did you bother to check it, or are you going soft on me just like sis?" Syn narrowed her eyes as she continued to look Iris over. Her voice noticeably upset and frustrated.

Iris clicked her tongue unconsciously, debating whether or not to answer the woman. Before she could decide, Iara spoke up, and then Nail. Their outburst obviously annoyed the woman, and that brought a tiny satisfied smile to Iris' face.
Then Big Red returned, and the woman called him brother. Iris shook her head and closed her eyes.
<"This is too weird.">
Her mind was reeling, and she couldn't think, so did what she needed to do to relax.
Her hair shimmered, then turned a dull purple, as did her eyes. A feeling of calmness washed over her, and she yawned. The nervousness totally disappeared, and she glanced at the woman lazily.
"Yeah, I met Deathstar. Can't say she reminds me much of either of you, though." Her gaze shifted to Big Red. "Thank goodness," she added.
Syn laughed as her older brother let his temper flare a little. "You know, it's a good thing you're already red brother. Cause I think if you were normal skin color then you'd be red anyways. As for you being in a cage for so long there's nothing that can be done about that now, but had I known I would've tried to free you." Syn calmed her tone down and was now using just her words to continue to gain her long lost brothers support.
"I do know where our beloved sister is." Just then she heard the blode girls voice. However she wasn't blonde anymore. Her hair and eyes had turned purple. Interesting "Apparently so does she. As for our parents. Well..." Syn got a sad look on her face and then looked back at Iris even though she was still talking to Abyss. "Our dear sister killed our parents." She watched the expression on Iris' face as she made that last comment.

Iris narrowed her eyes slightly at the woman's comment. Obviously she didn't know much about Deathstar, so she couldn't deny the accusation. Plus she was beginning to question quite a few things anyway.
Unfortuantly, along with the power change came a personality change as well. A change that included a lack of tact.
"Yeah, I probably would've killed my mom too if she gave a sister like you."
The now purple haired girl spat out with rudeness, but Syn only smiled back in return. "My dear you have no idea what my sister has done or is capable of doing do you? She's a wolf in sheeps clothing. She will draw you in and get you to like her all the while waiting for the opportunity to strike. I've seen first hand what she can do and it's not nice at all." Syn looked into the girls eyes to see if she was accepting what was being said. "You best hope she doesn't kill your mom too. I'd hate to see you go through what I did. Having something that horrific oxcur in front of your very eyes changes your soul." Syn loved sowing seeds of chaos with people. It always got interesting reactions.
"So, is our sister still at the mansion for Xaviers gifted children?" Syn glanced to her brother to see if he had gotten the clue.
OK, that convo is too interesting to sleep through. his mind suddenly snapped him back from his sense of day-dreaming as he sub-concisely was listening to the conversation. He slowly leaned towards the front of the cell, tilting his head.
At that moment, he finally took a look of the other captives. He noticed that he had recognized some of them, passing them in the hallway at the mansion. So that's why their so interested in all of this. he realized. He sat in the corner in the front, placing his head on his fist while leaning his arm on his knee.
