"My dearest, my most radiant Celeste," the catboy purred, the words rolling over his tongue with candied sweetness. "I fear you misunderstand how my talent works. Alas, I can only bring out the true beauty in others; I cannot take it away."

"Fear not, however," he rallied, plucking the errant scarf off of his tail, and draping it soothingly back around its mistress' shoulders. "If your heart truly desires it, you shall turn back."

By the three day mark, tops. Whether people wanted to stay shifted did seem to extend their time, but really, the whole "shifting back" thing seemed quite random to him. It was too much to ask for Calley to know how his own power worked.

"However, if your heart wishes to stay this way... Why, I dare say the visible mutant look quite brings out your true nature, wouldn't you?"

Was that a devilish, impertinent curl of his tail tip? Why yes, yes he rather thought it was.
