The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

>> "Alright! Sheesh! Take it easy!...I've heard foul mouthed kids before, but you take the cake."
Jezebel stuck her tongue out at him. And, as soon as her hands and arms were free she, oh so innocently, gave him a variety of flip offs that all so eloquently said “**** You”. Jezebel was actually well versed in the variety of ways she could express her dislike of someone. The last thing that she needed was for someone else to attempt to point out how wrong she was in that.
But, she was definitely not liking how this guy was talking. Even though he was a mutant, he spoke like a goodie-two shoes mutant, and she LOATHED those types of mutants. They all needed to unite and get with the program that they were the next stage in evolution. Defending humanity was wrong.
She would get to them all to understand, somehow…
>> "It would be a bad idea for me to call the cops while you two are still here. Personally I don't want you two involved, so I think it might be best if you left. I'll make sure that Mr. drug dealer here doesn't tell the police about you two."
Jezebel scoffed. She ran her fingers through her long, obsidian locks as she looked irritated at what the man said. She frankly, didn’t care less about the police. She would rip all their heads off if they so much as tried to lay a finger on her.
Arms crossed over her massive chest (barely covered by the remnants of clothing) she tilted her head as she eyed her…”sister” who was just now beginning to calm down. She had to shake her head at the sight. Lilith was so weak, so pathetic, so…human. She shuddered at the idea that she was actually related in some manner to this sad little ant. And what was even more irritating was that she could nothing to her! All because of some ill-conceived promise that she made Penelope.
>> "I'm sorry about this mess. We can talk prices later. Right now you should get outta here."
Lilith, who had her hand over her chest, trying to calm her racing heart, nodded to the kind shop owner. She was thankful that he was able to step in and save them, but she was worried now that Jezebel was awake. Still, she hoped that Jezebel could keep herself together long enough for them just to get out of this building in one piece. Lilith didn’t want to get dragged into any more altercations because of Jezebel’s temper and sense of superiority.
“T-Thank you, again,” she said as she took the card from him. She turned it over in her hands, thankful that the man still wanted to do business. “And, we’ll be going right now. Um, come on, Jez—“
Jezebel shot her a sharp and hateful look.
Lilith immediately backed up and took another shaky breath.
“I mean, please, Jezebel? Ca-Can we go?”
Jezebel rolled her eyes. She thought for a second before she finally just gave the woman a quick nod and turned to head to the front door. But the movement by the small man drew her attention back to him. Her molten eyes boring into his as he spoke to her…
>> "For what it's worth, sorry about pissing you off. So the other shop keepers on the other side of the street don't stare, you're going to have to turn back into your hu.... I mean smaller form. Seeing you walking the streets will completely overturn my efforts at keeping the police off of you two."
She snarled as she turned on her heel and began to walk her voluptuous form away from the man. If only he knew just how much that statement irritated her. She hated being trapped in the body of that little pip-squeak! She wanted nothing to do with that. Also, little Penelope had gotten herself far too worked up to calm long enough to reign in Jezebel. Oh no, the Red Mama was out and she was ready to cause some mayhem. Penelope gave her enough fuel for that…
>> "Now lets see... I need to make this look like a brawl happened. I guess I'd better break some of the pots where that hole in the wall is located."
She arched a brow. A wicked grin crept across her face as she picked up a couple of stray pots from a nearby shelf. They were beautiful decorated and looked as if they were both quite heavy and expensive. Jezebel easily lifted them both and hurled them with all her might.
“Jezebel, no!” Lilith shouted.
CRASH!! SMASH!!![/b]
The pots nearly evaporated into dust with as much force as Jezebel threw them. They shattered into the smallest of pieces and rained down upon the spot that the shop owner was musing about. There was plenty of a mess there now to look like a real fight.
“That ought to cover it,”[/b] she said as she bit her thumb at the man (another derogatory gesture) and sauntered out the front door. In the fullness of her glory, Jezebel stepped out onto the sidewalk and walked away.
Lilith sighed, hung her head, and offered her apologies to the shop owner again before she dashed out the door and followed the destruction left by her sister’s alter ego.
Alex was about to reach for a statue of an owl perched on top of a crescent moon when he heard Lilith scream at Jezebel, telling her to stop. Instead of turning around to see what was happening, Alex ducked instead... and it was a good thing he did because one of the larger pots that Jezebel threw would've nailed him in the head if he hadn't ducked. All the pots hit the wall with a loud smash, and shards of clay pots and statue pieces went everywhere. Once the dust started to settle, Alex stood up and turned around with an angry look on his face and glared at Jezebel with a new cut on his left cheek. One of the shards of clay had given him a gash on the cheek.
"As if I didn't have enough battle scars already..." Alex stated as blood started to drizzle down his cheek as he watched Jezebel leave with her head held high, with Lilith tailing after her. Alex sighed and glanced around where Jezebel had thrown the pots, and the vixen had been right about it now looking there had been a fight... though one small statue of a dove holding an olive branch in its beak had survived the disaster. Alex shook his head, gave the dove statue a push with a finger, and watched it break in half when it hit the ground. "This is gonna cost me a bundle. I'm going to be suing this criminal's pants for years." Alex mentioned as he walked behind the counter and dialed 911.
His call was picked up right away, and he was asked what his emergency was. "Hi. An M-drug dealer just smashed up my pottery shop and tried to kill me with a hand gun. Oh, there's no reason to rush over here ma'am, he's knocked out on my shop floor. And by the way, I know that he's an M-drug dealer because I've run into this guy before. Could you also send someone to do a through inspection of my shop too please? I have a feeling that there might be an M-drug shipment in my shop. My guess would be a bright red pot that the former owner of this shop told me to hand over to this guy when he showed up. Yeah, sounds rotten to me too. Just get over here, alright? Thank you. I'll leave the phone off the hook." Alex stated and placed the phone on the counter. Hearing a groan, he walked around the counter to see the criminal stir and start to wake up... and Alex responded by kicking him in the head. "You have the right to remain unconscious, anything you say will be used against you in a court of law." Alex muttered under his breath with a sigh.
