The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nate nodded; he assumed she would give him her number as well, especially since he would be the one who controlled the next time they met. "Of course." Nate handed his notepad and pen to his fellow artist gladly.
As Sarah took down her information for him, Nate added another friendly offer for the new girl in town. "And obviously if you need anyone to help you find you way around the city or you've got questions, don't hesitate." Nate took note of Sarah shifting the backpack; it was a habit from studying people professionally for years. She was probably showing an emotional tell, which was understandable given her possibly tutoring opportunity. "You may not know it, but being a professional artist can come with a lot of downtime occasionally." It was a joke, but a surprisingly true joke.
She smiled when he offered further help around the city as she wrote down her information. She was giving him both her home number and her work.
>>"You may not know it, but being a professional artist can come with a lot of downtime occasionally."
Sarah laughed lightly. "With my day job, I never seem to have free time. If you can't reach me at home, try my work number. Someone should know where I am."
She shifted her backpack again as she handed the pad and pen back to Nate. She was very excited about how her day was turning. That being said, she knew it might not even happen, the job that is. Or, if it did, it probably would take a while for him to contact her. Besides these two facts, Sarah was very excited.
"Thank you, for everything today. I think my day would have been rather boring if we hadn't bumped into each other."
>> "With my day job, I never seem to have free time. If you can't reach me at home, try my work number. Someone should know where I am."
Sarah made a valid point. Nate considered giving the girl his number at the school as well, but even if he was there, it would probably still be easy enough for her to call him on his cell. Even if he was tutoring, he doubted his students would rat him out to Sam.
>> "Thank you, for everything today. I think my day would have been rather boring if we hadn't bumped into each other."
Nate smiled; she was really a sweet person. "Well, I don't do boring, that's for sure." He finished on a more sincere note. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Sarah."
Nate nudged Parker with the tip of his toe. "Say thank you." The spider lifted itself on its back legs for a make-shift bow.
Nate turned away, waving. "I look forward to hearing from you! Good luck in New York!" He would owe Sarah eventually; she managed to push the moping and self-pity out of his mind, at least for a little while. All things considered, it was one of his better days.
