The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Sure, Nate's little lesson felt like something out of an after-school special, but it would be wrong to teach self-loathing in a school of mutants. He went from hiding behind masks to being a step or two from a publicly out mutant. (He was not there yet, of course, but who knows what time would tell?)

Nate shook his head, chuckling. "You did most of the work. Besides, it's my job." The mention of his job made him think. He looked back at the assignments he was grading. He did have an art history test coming up... anyone could grade that and it would just be boring. "If you wanna get an extra class credit though, you're welcome to apply to be an aide," he suggested, half-jokingly.
