The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The park was abosolutely beautiful in thesummer heat. The flowers bloomed and the sun blazed in the late afternoon. The light air blew through the trees brining with it the scent of food and the voices of happy little children.
Daria's thin shirt had a hood so she could hider her ears and her tail was tucked neatly in one of her pants legs. Her eyes were hidden by her shades. Even so she could still appreciate the sight of children playing.
She held a blanket in one of her arms and stoppoed at a cart to grab some water and ice cream.
"Do you want your popsickle now, Sarah-"
"YES! And don't forget the kit-kat bar."
"right" Daria nodded taking her purchases from the man. "Do you want ice cream too, Kit-Kat?"
"Yeah, I haven't had ice cream before either, so I wanna try that too!" Hairpin said. She was beginning to feel like this was an entirely, wonderful new world, compared to sitting in her room at her former home all day munching on crackers and cheese nips.

"Oh...wow. You've never had ice cream?!" Sarah asked in between licks of the popsickle that was hsaped like the invisible woman's head. "She needs one of every flavor!" Sarah asked the man at the cart. Then, with a look to Daria. "Thats alright right?"
"Actually, I was about to say the same thing." Daria ordered a scoop of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. She turned to Hairpin. "It's not every flavor but its all he has. when we go to the beach there will be more choices. " She handed the ice cream to the girl holding onto the chocolate bar. The icecream was more likely to melt first.
"Lets sit over there!" Sarah poitned to a tree with a lot of shade. Before Daria could say anything she was already half way there, skillfully balancing the popsickle.
Hairpin couldn't talk, due to how fast she was gobbling down the ice cream. Her eyes seemed to keep widening with every lick, and pretty soon the ice cream was gone. "That was good!" Hairpin almost yelled, a grin on her face. "Owwwwwww!" she added, holding her head.

Daria laughed spreading out the blanket. "And that is what we call brain freeze." she said shaking her head in amusement. She handed the girl the chocolate bar as she sat down. Sarah sat down next to her.
Hairpin concentrated for a second, and the brainfreeze immediately went away. "Brainfreeze all gone!" she said happilly, munching on the Kit-Kat Bar. She looked around the park, and then up into the tree above them. "Huh..." she said, and an old, dusty frisbee that had obviosly been there awhile floated down to her. With her telekinesis, she blew the dust and dirt off. "What's this?" she asked Daria.

Daria couldn't miss out on the opportunity and promptly removed her sketchpad and pastels from her bag as Sarah took the frisbee from Hairpin.
"Don't go too far." Daria cautioned.
Sarah stopped only a little ways off and motioned for the girl to watch. "You hold it like this." She said holding the toy with her wrist bent. "Then you swing your arm." She swunger harm with out releasing the frisbee. "Right in the middle of your swing you have to let it go, and, if you do it right, it should go straight." She handed the toy back to Hairpin. "Go ahead and try it." She started to run back a bit. "Throw it to me."
Hairpin grasped the frisbee, and attempted to throw it to Sarah, instead it went zooming for a couple a few yards away. It stopped suddenly, behind the couple, and shot towards Sarah slowely so she could catch it with ease. "Maybe I should use my hair, I'd have better aim." Hairpin said.

Sarah jumped into the air to catch it, stumbling back a bit. "wow! Great job!" She said, surprised. She then tossed it back. Sarah was actually very good at it and was glad to have a challenge.
Daria smiled at Hairpin who was so unafraid of what people thought. "And here I am covered from head to toe." She laughed to herself and continued to draw Hairpin's hair and the comical way the stuffed monkey swung wildly from Sarah's back.
Hairpin dramatically caught the frisbee, then becane wildly juggling it back and forth between pigtails. Twirling it around on her left pigtail, she tossed it neatly back to Sarah. Dafi hopped out of her kimono, and up onto Hairpin's head.

Daria laughed very amused.
Sarah heard her and wanted to show off too. She commenced to to a head stand, spinning around with the frisbee clutched between her feet. She then tossed it in the air, landed up right and threw it back to Hairpin. She stumbled a bit due to dizziness but kept her balance. She turned to Daria and grinned.
Daria smiled back and started on a new drawing to display the freestyle moves.
