Jayna sat under a tree on a nice afternoon, enjoying the breeze and watching the ducks and tourists on the pond, if you could call the miniature lake that. What a day to be alone... she murmured, hiding one hand behind the other as she made the hidden one transform into a green Wood Nymph hand and grow some roses on it's palm, just to hold them once her hand changed back. As she smelled the roses, she relaxed against the tree's rough bark, enjoying it's feel against her back.

Aeryn was amazed at the sheer size of Central Park. She almost believed herself to have suddenly walked through a portal and back into Illinois, considering she couldn't even see the buildings surrounding the giant park through the branches of the green trees.
"You wonder if they count on this place to keep air pollution under control." she thought aloud, scratching her head, as she walked down a pathway that was pretty much devoid of fellow pedestrians.
Through the trees, she could see sunlight glinting off water, so, curious, she headed off the path through the trees. She emerged onto the shore, and enjoyed the cool breeze that came from off the pond.
I suppose I could sit here awhile. she thought, feeling her feet throb in their boots. I could use the rest.
She saw a promising tree, one whose shade made a nice puddle of cool around its base, and headed over. Unfortunately, once she walked around to the pond side, she saw someone sitting there already. She halted, aware that she'd been traveling a number of days without the chance to shower.
"Oh, sorry about that. I was just going to sit here. I'll go find a different tree." Aeryn said, and looked around for another promising tree. Just shrubs, and her feet were starting to ache mutinously. Aeryn sighed, and looked back at the person. "Ah, well, I hope you don't mind, but I'm just going to sit down here for a moment. My feet are tired."
She did so, sitting a quarter of the way around the tree, where there was still a nice view of the pond. Aeryn stretched, trying to get some of the kinks out of her neck and back.
