Going up? (Miri)

Mina had spent several days looking through prospective places to live. Anything rental was out. She needed to be able to renovate the space to her liking and tangling with a landlord to get that done just wasn't feasible. Not to mention she didn't need a landlord in her business. No, she'd have to buy a new place. It had taken some looking before she'd found a few buildings that suited her needs. She'd ended up narrowing down the list to visit to just six buildings and this place was the last one. Mina would have left her chatty real estate agent at the security desk like a lost child if she could. However security demanded he stay with her. That put Mina out of sorts so she settled on glaring at the man every time he tried to speak.

She did not need to hear his opinions on the place or hear him talk it up. It would be up to the apartment itself to impress her. She would ask him questions when she needed them answered and tolerate no other noise. Edgar, for that was his name, was regretting taking on such an ill tempered client. However she was, to put it plain, rich. At least, rich enough to afford a condo in this place without having to resort to a loan. Edgar could put up with her ill temper for the commission he'd get from selling the condo she was looking at in this building.

Mina waited by the elevators impatiently. Not that she minded the slow elevators. It gave her a chance to survey the lobby. They were in a neighborhood where he beloved Jaguar drew very little attention beyond the occasional admiring or approving eye. That boded well. The building itself was quite nice, from what she could see so far. Provided the space itself didn't disappoint or the building committee didn't have some insane rules she would count this as the best place of the day. Time would tell.
