After catching a taxi to the local mall Nika looked around. It looked like a pretty good size place. Lots of store names posted around the outside of the building. "Well, this looks promising. What do you think?"

Nika hooked Nicki's arm and smiled as she lead the way into the mall. It was about 1pm and there were quite a few people shopping. Mostly older people but there were plently of younger folks. Some walking alone others in small groups. Most likely skipping school.

Looking around as they strolled through the hallway they saw a Rave store. "Oh, Nicki lets go in there first." Before Nicki had a chance to utter a word she was pulle dinto the store.

Nicki smiled as Nika pulled her into the store. Malls weren't really Nicki's thing...she had gone for the single purpose of helping her roomie pick out some new clothes and she was suddenly regretting it. Lots of people.

Nika had at least managed to pull her into a store that wasn't too expensive. Shirts were the right price for basic pieces of cloth and jeans were roughly $20...a good start.

Nicki looked around the store, looking at all the shirts with "Princess" and "Spoiled" written across them in pink glitter. "So...um...what are you looking for Nika?" Nicki asked, quickly turning away from the sale lady who was heading straight for her.

Nicki's question got a quick response. "I'm looking for cute stuff." Walking over to a rack of clothes she pulls up a couple shirts on hangars. One was white with a V neck and had a design of a cute cat face. The other was pink and said "Hottie" in white. "Stuff like these. I love cute shirts, but I have to find pants and shorts to go with them."

Nika started mixing and matching different items of clothing to see what sorts of outfits she could make. When the sales lady approached Nika politely told her she didn't need any assitance. "What do you think of these shorts Nicki?" Nika held up a two pairs of shorts. They both were the same style. They looked like they would be tight fitting and very short but one was white and the other was normal blue denim.

Nicki looked around, trying to find a shirt or something that would fit her own style more, but it looked like that was a long shot...though she was finding some plain shirts that might have worked...had they not been super-short.

Turning to Nika, Nicki examined the shorts. They were short, but they looked okay. "Cute. I bet those'll come in handy for summer no problem..." Nicki smiled, trying to be helpful. She didn't usually do this stuff...when you're best friend was your brother you didn't really get a whole bunch of experience in shopping.

Nicki's comment made Nika smile. "Yeah, it might be a good idea to get some summer clothes huh?" Hanging on to the shorts Nika looked around some more. She noticed Nicki looking at some shirts. "Hey those would look cute on you hun. You should go try them on."

Nicki shrugged a little. "I don't know..." looking them over again, Nicki turned around and looked to Nika again. "What about you? Are you going to try those on or are you just trusting that they'll fit or something?

"Oh come on sweetie. You should try some stuff on." NIka looked at the items of clothes she had picked up. "Yeah, I'm gonna try them on. Not everyone makes the same sizes. Though I wish they would." Giggling a little Nika looked for the dressing rooms. "Come on let's go try this stuff on."

She walked over to the dressing rooms and found an empty room. Again she mixed and matched different shirts with different shorts and pants. Posing in front of the mirror after each changing of items. Most of the clothes fit how she liked them to except for one of the pants. Once she was done trying on all the clothes she exited the dressing rooms and looked for Nicki.

Nicki stepped into the dressing room, carrying some plain shirts, some that had pop culture references (like Coca-Cola or Trix cereal), and a couple of pairs of jeans. She tried on this and that, with no real fever, before walking out of the room and sitting down at the entrance of the dressing rooms, waiting for Nika.

Nicki smiled as Nika came out. "Anything good?"

"Yeah, I like all of these except for this pair of pants. They don't fit right So i won't get them. Did you find anything?" Nika put the unwanted pants back where she got them and walked up to the cashier lady.

"Did you find everything ok?"asked the lady. "Yes I did thank you." Nika paid for her new clothes and looked to Nicki to see if she was buying anything. "You wanna see if we can find you some ears and a tail now?" Nika giggled as she wanted tos ee if Nicki would really do it.

Nicki shook her head about whether she had found anything or not, but then again, she wasn't really looking: Nicki had more than enough clothes for her own purposes.

Walking over to the registers, Nicki smiled as Nika brought up the cat ears and tale thing. It wasn't typically Nicki's thing but she liked the idea of having the set, if for no other reason than to have and wear should Nika ever want to blend in.

"Um...excuse me Miss?" Nicki asked the cashier. "You see the headband and tail my friend is wearing? Do you have any of those here?" Nicki asked.

"No, sorry, but I think Claire's upstairs has some"

Nicki smiled at Nika as the cashier handed her her bag. "That's our next stop then..."

When Nicki pointed to Nika's ears and called them a head band she was careful not to make them move. At the same time she couldn't help but giggle. "You're too funny girlie."

The girls left out of the Rave store and headed up stairs to Claire's. While they were on their way they noticed lots of people staring and pointing at Nika. Even a group of boys who looked to be about the same age as the girls. Nika paid them all no mind and just kept talking to Nicki and making her way to Claire's She really wanted to see Nicki in cat ears and with a tail.

Nicki shot a group of passers-by a dirty look as they pointed at her friend. "Some people have no manners" Nicki shook her head, linking arms with her friend once more and walking into the little shop.

Nicki automatically hated it. She was way too low key for a lot of the stuff they were selling in the store but she bit the bullet and walked over to the headband area. Right next to the free standing kitty ones was the pack Nicki had been thinking about: cat ears and a tail. Nicki shook her head, thinking she never would have fore seen herself buying this, and walked over to the cash register.

"Oh how cute! You guys'll totally be twins!" the girl at the register smiled and traded the bag for money.

Nicki opened the package and stuck on the headband before taking a moment and figuring out the tail. After all was said and done, she turned to her roomie "So, how do I look?"

"Awww you look so cute. Wait hang on." Nika adjusted one of the ears so it didn't look so bent out of shape. "That's better now." Standing back and looking Nicki over she couldn't help but smile brightly. No one had ever done anything like this before. Nicki seemed to be genuinely caring about Nika's feelings. "I love your tail too. Very sexy."

Nicki chuckled a little as Nika fixed her ears. Well, if she was gonna wear em she might as well wear right. Nicki smiled at Nika's response; the girl seemed absolutely giddy that Nicki was wearing the tail and ears. Nicki sighed a little, no longer out of disbelief, but out of acceptance. If it made Nika feel so good to have someone doing this then it was well worth the effort.

"Sexy?" Nicki chuckled a little, looking back at her ass. "We have a different definition of sexy my friend" she said with a wink.

Nika laughed at Nicki's comment. "You're so funny Nicki." She stood back a second and looked Nicki over once more. Even though it was all pretend it was still special to Nika. To have someone do something like what Nicki was doing meant alot.

Nika moved in closer to Nicki and gave her a heart felt hug. "I know you didn't have to do this but because you did I thank you. You're a true friend."

Stepping back she looked out into the mall. "What do ya say we go get some ice cream or something to drink and sit down?"
