The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Mr.King," He paused just long enough to grab his attention. "If your plans are so fragile and premature right now, perhaps they wouldn't be so if you let certain people know what they were, and to help. In an odd way, the saying fits: Strength in numbers." He waited for a responce, but was interupted by another blunt, brash man. <Are they all like the reptile?> He sighed inwardly. He felt the atmosphere change in moments and his body tenced while still being loose, a most odd feeling. Watching the exchanged between the receptionist and Mr.King and the door bolting shut, he clenched his fists. It sounded as if all of his bones were cracking as every knuckle and joint was poping. He looked to his left at Syn for just a moment before looking back and Mr.King and the two other men.

<Quite the reception.> Alex thought as the gate was closed and the males ready for a fight. "Well old boy," Alex said slightly embarrased, "I guess I came off a little brash there. Let me start over." Alex cleared his thrat a little before continuing. "I am simply here to find the whereabouts of a particular mutant. My name, is Alexander Gainsborough."
"Gainsborough," Dorian thought to himself, "it couldn't possibly be..."
Looking at the young man, Dorian began to see a striking resemblance of himself as a youth, however some further investigation would need to take place before he could jump to such hasty conclusions.
"Mr Gainsborough," Dorain said, putting the matter aside, "as you now know that my Sanctuary is knowingly harboring mutants, you life is in extreme peril, for if you breath a single word about this to anyone... anyone; you shall find yourself in circumstances that are less than favourable for your wellbeing.
Dorian took a calmer tone,
"Now, tell me Mr Gainsborough, which particular mutant are you speaking of? And what makes you think that I necessarily know who they are? My mutant ties have been well covered for the past... well... century. I'm surprised that word has spread so quickly to the Motherland."

"you shall find yourself in circumstances that are less than favourable for your wellbeing." Just as Dorian finished his senctence, no warning, no hint, and not even the timespan of a blink, Kaz stood a foot behind Alexandar. To Kaz, it seemed he took three steps to get behind Alex at a normal pace, to everyone else he seemed to have litterally dissapeared from his spot to reapear behind the man. Not a single bit of Kaz's clothes moved from his sudden movement.
This Alexandar stook a good two if not three inches taller than Kaz. Though this mattered little. Confident that if the need arose, he would easily be able to dispence with the neusence. There was a reason he was called the "Dragon". Many have prayed to never find out why. If they do, many have chosen his 'Fangs' to finish the job.

Slightly looking behind himself, Alex saw Kaz immediately behind him. Slowly turning back to face Dorian, Alex suddenly turned around towards Kaz. In one motion, Alex waved his arm as it was quickly shrouded in a Pale Green Aura. At the wave of his hand, a green barrier took form completely arond Kaz, trapping him in a pale green cylinder.
After eclosing Kaz and the pale green aura now shrouding around him, Alex turned back to Dorian. "I can assure you, I have no intentions or interests of stopping your mutant hurding. I am simply in search of a certain mutant for a...Personal Vendetta. I saw him at this building during a news report a couple of months ago. He has short brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and dresses in leather. He might balso be going by the name, G."
Isabel remained quiet for most of the conversation, simply listening as her eyes moved from one mutant to another as they took turns speaking. A smile played across her features as Mr. King addressed them as the teenage terrors, she'd have to use that sometime. She raised on eyebrow as she watched Kaz come to a stop behind the newest mutant, Alexander, who had quickly neutralized any plans of attack from their companion. Turning back to Mr. King she thought a moment more about his excuses for keeping them in the dark about his plans.
"Well, I suppose I can see where Mr. King stands concerning our questioning." she said, speaking her mind for the first time in the conversation. "The more people that know what's going on, the more chances that one of them could let something slip, be it by accident or otherwise." Isabel wasn't really trying to take sides, but was instead looking at the logical points in the conversation. Although Isabel was very curious about Mr. King's hidden agenda, the young mutant trusted him, though only so far as she believed that he'd keep his word when he said they'd be informed about what was to happen at the Sanctuary when it was time.

Kaz watched as the green barrier surrounded him. Raising an eyebrow as he watched it move, he could heve stepped out of the way easily, but he wanted to see what he could do. He tapped the barrier with his knuckles, <Not bad, I wonder how strong it is.> Looking up he noticed the cylinder wasn't closed at the top or even reached the ceiling, and below him was just the floor. <If this is all he can do, that's sad, otherwise it's sloppy.>
Watching the man turn around to face Dorian, Kaz jumped up over the top of the cylinder, curling into a ball and rotating so he kicked off of the ceiling, landing on his feet silently after another rotation just outside of the barrier. He listened to Isabel talk. "I suppose you're right. There's a higher chance of info leaking out, but if he does it all on his own," He stood next to Alex looking at Dorian "it may also take much longer for it to happen, and with more time passing also increases the chance something could go wrong and info still gets out."
Turning to Alex, "How much force can this thing take?" He spoke as he tapped on its outer wall lightly then harder and harder, before ramming his elbow full force into it, he used less strength to lift and throw a motorcycle with one arm than he did elbowing the cylinder wall.
The newcomer waved his hand a surrounded Kaz with some kind of barrier. That's an nteresting power. I wonder what else he can do. she thought to herself as she watched Kaz escape. At the same time Alex was explainging what he was doing. "Why are you searching for this specific mutant Alexander? Has he done something to you or against you?" Her eyes glanced around at everyone around her. More specifically to Mr. King since Alexander was being very direct with him and him only. For now at least.
Yeah, whatever that'll keep yourself busy. Alex thought as Kaz seemed to be interested in his Barrier.
With every attack that Kaz made, Alex's barrier remained solid and showed no sign of going down. Taking a few steps away from Kaz and closer to the others, Alex created another barrier. This time, Alex made a Prism Barrier that completely encased himself along with everyone else except for Kaz. When the second barrier was made, the first barrier immdiately shattered and vanished.
Turning back to the conversations, he looked at Syn. "Let's just say that I have things to, 'settle', with him." He said answering her question vaguely.

Kaz watched for any reaction from the barrier, "Pretty tough." He said in a soft voice. Watching Alex walk away towards the others as another barrier began to form. <It is pretty slow forming, kinda funny.> Once again he appeared behind Alex just before the new barrier closed and the other one dissapeared. Laying his hand on Alex's shoulder he began to push down while clamping down with his fingers and thumbs so they were digging into his skin, with more pressure he could shatter his shoulder or slam him face first into the floor. "Your tricks are pretty slow. So lets make a truce, you be straight forward and stop beating around the damn bush, stop with the little barrier tricks," he lightened his grip a bit, but not too much, "And I'll stop showing you up." Pausing a moment, "Or, I can break every bone in your frail body, then rip your head from your shoulders. So do we have a deal, or do I get to have fun?" His voice was icy cold, his threat very real.
Isabel studies Alexander's newest barrier with mild interest. They were obviously very sturdy, but at the current moment they only looked useful for defensive situations. Her attention turned back to Kaz, the newcomer also falling into he line of vision because of how close the two were, her eyebrow raised at Kaz's words. Men. They were always trying to one-up each other. "Settle down, Kaz. Alexander doesn't look like he's trying to start anything, so why must you?" she said, not entirely expecting him to listen, though wanting to say something anyways.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.

Slowly he turned his head and looked at Isabel, "Right. You want to be put into a barrier by a newcomer, who you have no idea what he can do? For all I, WE, know, he may have the ability to kill anyone within his barrier, or drain their strength." He glared at her, "We have absolutely no idea what he can and cannot do. I am not going to sit by and let him do what he wants." He looked from her to Dorian. Still speaking generally to Isabel he wasn't looking at her, "He barges in here, starts asking questions and expecting answers, but when questions are asked of himself, he blows them off, beats around the bush, and gives a vauge answer. Mr.King, if you were paying attention, as soon as this man come in, had the doors shut and locked tight. He is a potential threat, I'm not just going to let him do as he pleases!" With his last words he turned his head to stare at Isabel. In his annoyance he had pushed the man farther down onto his knees.
"That is true Kaz. However I do beleive Mr. King has the say on whether Alexander should be detained. Let him go. NOW!" Syn's voice was very stern and it definatley got Kaz's attention. She glanced to Dorian who had raised his eyebrows in reaction to the situation. "Let him say what he has to say Kaz. There's no need to show off." She finished her statement with a slight shake of her head. To aidin her effort she released some calming pheromones. Unfortunatley, within the enclosed area it woudl affect everyone with the exception of Syn.

"If you look around you Syn, he has detained us, and he detained me in the other one. He's not going to listen to Mr. King, he's going to do what he wants. He hasn't yet and probably won't give a straight answer, so what's the point in letting him talk?" He quirked his head up and to the left. He let out a soft relaxing sound.Looking to Syn, "This what you ment by you can influence people?" Though he could smell what was affecting him, he couldn't stop its effect. He didn't seem so tense as he let up on Alex a bit.

Okay, so he's fast and pretty full of himself. Alex thought as he was forced down by Kaz. He was feeling the pressure placed on his shoulder, but managed to keep a calm face through the pain. Alex was hoping that things would go more peaceful, but then this guy who is apparantly trying too hard to impress Dorian was making things more difficult.
"Look. I do have my reasons for what I do, but I would rather not indulge my life story to people I don't even know. All I am seeking is information on the whereabouts of a specific mutant. Whether you know or don't know, just say so. I honestly don't bloody care about whatever other secrets that this place is hiding." Alex said.
Since it was pointless now, Alex's pale green aura vanished from his body. At the same time, the second barrier disappeared in the same fashion as the first.
