The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Eh," Shrugging. "I dunno, I can't control it or turn it off, it's always active. I think I'd have fun manipulating my bones. It's flashy, I wouldn't have to use physical force to get my point accross. Besides, I've never known anything else. I was born with an active mutation." He looked from Isabel to Syn, "If I were to guess, you two had your mutations kick in around puberty, like most mutants'." He looked behind them where Syn had looked. "Lookin for lizard boy? He probably got lost, didn't look to smart, at least not smart enough to ask for directions. By the way Syn, what can you do?" He was quite currious about her powers.
Listening to Kaz made Syn think. How long had she had her powers. Her influential one she knows didn't come around until she was a teen but her other one... She didn't really know how long it had been active. Mayeb she was born with it already working. That was a question she would probably never know the answer to.
Kaz really didn't like Raptor and he was pretty up front about it too. "Yes I was looking to see where he went. He's probably raiding the kitchen or something. He was complaining about not eating much lately." They all continued to walk to the receptionist desk since they were told they had to request to see Mr. King when they first arrived. "You want to know what I can do huh? Well, I can influence how both humans and mutants think and feel about things. I'm also very resilient to anything I'm exposed to because my body reacts to whatever it is and counters it so that there is no ill effect to me."
"WELL, Mr. Kaine," Dorian started, "You can obviously see the position I am put in by you, an alleged ex x-man, showing up here. SOMEHOW word about my little project has been heard by the police of the mutant world, which means my plans are in peril of being prevented from taking place. Unless of course, in the HOUR which you have not associated yourself with the X-Men, you heard about me through the mutant underground."
Dorian sighed.
"Alright, I'll let you stay with the other mutants. But if I suspect you have been in ANY form of communication with your so-called foes, then you shall be punished SEVERELY. Understand?"

"Like I said mr dorien I left them because of them i lost my sister my only family left because of them ,yes I did hear about you from the underground theres quite a buzz about this place"
Hearing that there was "quite a buzz" about the Sanctuary lifted Dorian's mood.
"Alright, go through that door there, there's a staircase. Normall you'd have to press the secret button to activate it, however its broken at this point in time. There are alread quite a few mutants down there, so go and introduce yourself, and maybe someone might show you around. If you need to talk to me, ask the receptionist or an appointment. That's all there is to know, hope you enjoy your stay."
With that, Dorian turned and headed towards his elevator. He stopped.
"Wait, I don't even know what it is you do. I mean, I know you have the ability to throw computers and scare my administrative staff, but what else can you do?"
"My mutation actually kicked in when I was younger. However, it's been rather helpful that way since I've mainly had to care for myself the past few years." Isabel said with a small shrug in response to Kaz's assumption. She frowned slightly at their newest acquaintance's statement about Jonas. Apparently their companion was still making bad first impressions upon those he spoke with. And speaking of Jonas, where in the world had he gotten off to?
Isabel lingered in her thoughts a moment longer, before something brought her out of them, though she could not put her finger on exactly what just yet. Tilting her head slightly, she listened for whatever it was, just faintly catching a familiar voice. "I think we're getting closer to Mr. King. I can hear him speaking with someone."
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Isabel's comment about hearing mr. King made Syn realize that she too could hear his voice. He was talking with someone else, and from the sound of it he was giving directions. Maybe it was a new resident. Maybe the person was another mutant. "If we catch him at the front desk he better not make us make an appointment."
That being said the group of youngsters approached the front desk. Their eyes were met by Mr.King and a man who was covered in blood. From what Syn could tell Mr. King was allowing the man to be part of the other residents at his new complex. "Mr. King we would like to talk with you." Syn then looked to the receptionist. "We're appointing ourselves a conversation with Mr. King. Keep up the good work."

((OOC: Gahh works been kickin my ass, sorry guys.))
Kaz listened to Syn's explanation of her abilities, <Hmm...influence us..I wonder how strong of an influence she has.> Before he could respond he heard the familiar voice of Mr.King in front of them along the hall, someone else was with them. He shut his mouth as he concentrated on what they were saying. 'associated yourself with the X-Men' 'because of them i lost my sister ' He was currious to say the least about their conversation, he nearly missed all of what Isabel said.
As they reached Mr.King, He decided he'd let the girls talk, he's never been very good at asking questions, or at least not the right ones, and getting the answers he wants. Standing in front of them, he just held a stone cold look on his face, no emotions seeping through at all. He didn't like the look of the bloodied man, <There must be something BIG going on.>

"So this is New York. I have to say the cities in the U.S. are definitely different than England." Alex stated as he looked around in amazement. This was the first time he actually left Great Britain, so he was feeling a little ot of his element.
Two years has past since Alex has started on his hunt. For the past three months, Alex has had no leads as to the whereabouts of the Mutant until he spotted him in the background of New York City on the news. With this being the best lead so far, Alex immediately made his way to New York to continue his search.
Remembering what Alex saw on the news, the Mutant was standing near a building that was still under construction. The one thing that was very recognizable was the large Golden Gates. It took awhile, but Alex was soon able to find the area where the building was. From what he saw the place was recently finished and now open to the public. The first thought that went through Alex's head was that he might be using this bilding as his hide out. Once he passed through the gates, Alex looked up at the enormous building that stood behind the gates.
Before Atticus could reply, one of the young girls involved in the fight outside interrupted their conversation.
"Ahh... my trio of teenage terrors; well... two of the trio, it seems that someone else has taken the place of the one who like steak. How are we finding our new homes?"
Syn looked at the man Mr. King was talking to then back to Mr. King. "It's nice to be remembered so fondly." she said with a slight smile. "We would like to talk with you to learn more about you and what you're doing. Oh, and by the way we're not the only ones who think you have something else going on besides running a shelter." Syn glanced at Isabel and Kaz who both had a look of agreement. She then turned her attention to the blood covered man. "Maybe you'd like to hear this too huh?"
Hearing the girl's words made Dorian's mood become quite serious.
"Look, its true that this place isn't just a shelter for you mutants, but my plans are at a very precarious stage. It's far too premature to be sharing them with anyone. So all I ask for now is that you all trust me when I say that when the time is right, you shall know the full details, and that the way we mutants are treated in this world will change forever."
Dorian knew that he would have to tell them something soon, but if word spread before everything was ready, years for planning would be for naught.

"If that's the case, then it would be safe to say that you must have heard about numerous mutants." Standing by the door, Alex looked at the bunch of people that he overheard when he was behind the door. From their appearance, Alex assumed that the fancy dressed looked man was the owner and head of the building. "So am I wrong to make that asumption?" Alex asked as he walked up to the bunch, his eyes right on Dorian.
The receptionist had seen the man before anyone else, and was about to call for security when Dorian threw out his hand, motioning her to wait. Turning, Dorian looked the Englishman. He was only young, but had quite an air of confidence about him.
"And which mutants would you be referring to?" Dorian quizzed. He didn't like brashness of this character.
"More to the point, who are you, and what business do you have here?"
Dorian glanced at the receptionist. "Close the doors" he silently communicated to her. She pressed a button, and the large golden doors slammed shut, after which the sound the doors locking could be heard; just in case this intruder had brought back up.
"Well, Mr. King, to quite honest I can only take sitting around waiting for so long. I can't speak for the others but I want to know your plans. Maybe we can help you with whatever goals you want to achieve." Syn's green eyes stared right at Dorian as she spoke and waitined for his response. However they were soon interrupted by another man.
The new comer was walking down the main hall and was speaking to Dorian as well. Although his tone seemed to relay his emotions rather bluntly. The young girl looked to Mr. King as he too had noticed this new figure and turned to confront him. The golden doors shut and locks engaged while the man approached the small group. Now this might get interesting Syn thought to herself.
