"Good answer." she said smiling again. She knew she had his full attention. Syn walked beside Kaz as they walked around looking for something to do. "Well, let me go check on Isabel before we do anything. She's the other one I came in with. I think she said she was going to be in the library." Her green eyes looked aorund. "Umm..where's the library?"

"ahh Mr King just who i was looking for I'll cut to the chase the word is that you are excepting mutants here and that theres more two it than just shelter. I want in The names Atticus Kaine, From essex england I was an X man till about an hour ago. So whats your plan?"

"Isabel, I'm assuming shes the last 'other'?" He paused and looked around. "Hmm...the library," His voice took on a playful tone, "Ya know, I'm not quite sure. It could be that way, or that way." Pointing to the left and then diagonaly forward right."It seems I can't seem to remember, maybe you know of a way to jog my memory?" He looke right into her beautiful green eyes.

"Oooh," Dorian cooed, walking around the man as if studying him, "an ex X-Man. How intriguing... but..." Dorian paused, "how am I to know that you are not in fact... a SPY." a devilish grin forming on his face, "Though, I don't know what you're spying on... all we have here are bums and vagrants, any mutant activity that happens in here is purely coincidental." He paused again. "If there was some way for you to prove you were no longer an X-Man, then maybe our little situation would change... Hmmm?" Dorian looked at the wound on the man's shoulder." Say, whats your name Mr. X-Man? Regardless of who you are, we should get that looked at right away..."

"Yes Isabel is the other one I came in here with." Syn watched the little display of fake ignorance without a reaction save for a raised eyebrow. "Sure I'll jog your memory." She then pinched Kaz's left arm. "Do ya remember now?" she commented with a slight giggle. "Just take me to the library for a moment and then we can go do something else or go talk to Mr. King."

"Oww." He said more out of reaction than actual pain as he rubbed his arm. Laughing, "Well, I don't know what I really expected to happen." He began walking to the right, "Yes, I remember where it is now. Follow me." He lead her down a corridor that ended in a set of large doors. "Here we be." He grabbed both of the handles and pushed inward as he walked. "Since you know who your friend is, I'll let you lead the way."

"My name is Atticus Kaine and I will take any test you want, to prove that I am notan Xman Its fine its a scratch I got shot in my last mission, I am scitzo because of it and its turned me against them"

Finally Kaz showed Syn where the library was and opened the doors for her. She looked around a bit until she saw Isabel quietly reading a book in one of the chairs. walking over to her with Kaz following, Syn looked to see what Isabel was reading. However she had the book at an angle where the cover wasn't showing enough. "Find anything interesting Isabel?"she stated as she approached. "By the way this is Kaz. He's been giving me a tour of the place since he's been here awhile."

Isabel looked up from the book she was reading when she heard her name spoken by a familiar voice. She gave a friendly smile as she closed the book, her thumb still stuck between the pages, keeping her place should she decide to continue reading. "Hello, Syn. Yes I did find something of interest in Mr. Kings rather impressive collection. Myths and Folklore." she said, her hand resting on the maroon cover of the book where the words were printed artistically in swirling, gold letters.

Isabel turned her gaze to Syn's companion as he was introduced, giving the same smile she had offered to Syn. "Hello, Kaz. I'm Isabel, though I'm sure you already know that. It's nice to meet you." she greeted, holding out her hand, trying to be polite before turning back to Syn. "Well, you've seen my discovery, but what about you? Find anything that caught your interest?"

Smiling back to Isabel Syn gestured to Kaz. "Well, I found him and so far he's been rather interesting." Looking at Kaz she could see him smiling also. "We're thinking of going to talk to Mr. King to find out more about him and his plans." She could see some interest in Isabel's eyes once the statement soaked into her brain. "You wanna come along?"

Kaz followed Syn through the library where her friend sat reading. <Hmm..she's not half bad lookin herself...And they're hanging out with the reptile?> Mentally shaking his head. He waited as the two girls exchanged words, his eyes going to whoever spoke. When Syn spoke, he always took the time to look at her with more than a casual glance. He shook Isabel's hand when she offered it.

'Well, I found him and so far he's been rather interesting.' "I'd hope so, hate to be a boring little reptile. "We all know there's more to him and this place," He took a quick look around the room, at the structure and the people in it, before looking back at the girls, "I don't intend to be left out of the loop."

Isabel smiled as she got to her feet, placing her book in the seat of the chair, knowing that eventually someone would come along to put it back into its place. "Sure, I'll join you in your search for Mr. King. I'm curious about him and is plans as well." she said with another smile.

Turning she headed for the doors of the library, knowing that the Sanctuary founder wasn't in their part of the building. "So, I'm assuming that you're a mutant as well?" Isabel asked curiously, addressing Kaz as she walked, casting him a sidewards glance. "What is it exactly that you can do?"

Nodding at Isabel's question. "Yup. Nothing fancy, I'd bet some money both of yours are more flashy/fancy than mine." He held up his hand and his fingers all bent a different direction. "I'm double, tripple, and quad-jounted in nearly every joint. Super-human strength, speed, agility, flexability, and endurance with enchanced senses." He began to walk forward when he stopped, "Oh, also, if I practice any physical activity, from martial arts, to cutting a snowflake from paper, my muscled memorize how to do it, and will do it on their own without any thought from my brain." He picked up his walk again following Isabel out the door.

As they walked out of the library and down the hall way she listend to Isabel ask Kaz about whether he is a mutant or not and if so what he can do. Syn also wondered what kaz could do after watching his little display at the pool. "Well, that's pretty fancy if you ask me." she replied back to Kaz.

Syn looked back to see if Raptor was following them but at the moment she didn't see him. Perhaps he was off eating instead. Or maybe he went off on his own.

Isabel nodded, listening with interest at Kaz's explanation of his abilities. "Impressive." she said with a small grin. "Well, my own mutations aren't quite as numerous as your own. I've got the ability to manipulate my bone structure. I can do all sorts of things with them, so long as the task is not too complicated. It's nothing real spectacular, but it suits me just fine."
